After playing Lienzo's highly underrated Hunter's Legacy, I was expecting a lot from Mulaka. Although it succeeds in having an engaging premise, it unfortunately fails to offer any satisfying gameplay.

If RiftStar Raiders had a local multiplayer component, more accessible online matchmaking, and well-scaled difficulty then it would be a fantastic twin-stick space shooter. However, it suffers drastically from these shortcomings so download it with caution.

Magical Drop III is definitely one of those puzzle games that you'll be happy to add to your collection and play it every now and again but don't expect it to keep you entertained for longer than an hour at a time.

Metal Gear Survive doesn't come close to offering the same level of immersion that past Metal Gear games did but it's still definitely one of the most addictive survival-based gaming experiences that I've ever played.

Immortal Redneck is well-crafted with smooth and fast gunplay, a variety of playable characters, and an extensive upgrade tree. However, the core gameplay just didn't evolve enough to fully captivate me in the same way that the best roguelikes do.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus offers the same exciting fun that fans are used to while also including a fully realised and wholly enjoyable multiplayer component. Even if you played the vanilla version, this is worth getting for those who want to play with a pal.

My hat is off to the developers of Overdriven Reloaded: Special Edition. They managed to create an indie shoot 'em up that actually offers hardcore arcade shooting fun with plenty of bells and whistles that'll keep you blasting away for hours on end.

The Story Goes On is one of the most interesting roguelikes that I've played in a while due to its incredibly clever secrets and satisfying gameplay. However, the easy difficulty and lack of presentational flair often make it feel a bit flat.

Samurai Aces is a solid debut shmup from one of the most notable developers in the genre. It may be a bit too simplistic for some gamers' tastes but what's here does a good job of showcasing Psikyo's humble origins.

Superola and The Lost Burgers is a perfect game for those looking to have a little fun within a ridiculously goofy world. The amount of variety and modes may be superb but don't count on enjoying it for longer than a few hours.

This Secret of Mana remake is a solid new way to relive the classic although the original is clearly the better of the two options. Whether you enjoy it or not, here's hoping Square Enix announces a Seiken Densetsu 3 remake soon.

Hacker's Memory is a sequel that can only be enjoyed by gamers who played the original Cyber Sleuth. The lack of direction makes it tough to recommend to newcomers and the repeated content will hamper the fun factor for existing fans. However, if you're a long-time fan and only play the games for their in-depth monster customization then it's surely worth picking up.

Many gamers know KEMCO for churning out mostly mediocre RPGs at a high volume and unfortunately, that's exactly what Dragon Sinker feels like. It's a shame because with a bit more time and care, a few interesting concepts could have reached their full potential.

Guilt Battle Arena is a simple and goofy multiplayer game with a nifty one bullet mechanic. If that sounds fun to you then you may get a few minutes of enjoyment out of it but don't count on it being your next competitive multiplayer obsession.

After completing Fe, I'm happy to say that it was one of the most beautiful and memorable gaming experiences that I've played in a while. At the same time, its lack of challenge and reliance on repetition occasionally made me feel worn out.

Pop-Up Pilgrims is a super-challenging VR game that's sure to reward perfectionists who love to strategize. However, its unreasonably sensitive mechanics will frequently make you feel like brutally bashing your headset in.

Mad Carnage's premise is incredibly unique and has a lot of promise. Unfortunately, the restrictive nature of its story campaign and bland visuals make it not live up to its full potential. Here's hoping we see a much improved sequel sometime down the road.
