As a revival of a very special Sega Genesis classic, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove will certainly give fans the funky good times that they crave. However, those devoid of funk likely won't be up for the down stroke.- Video Chums

Cris Tales is a colourful RPG with a neat time travel mechanic that's used throughout the story as well as in battles. Although this sounds promising, it struggles to reach the heights of genre greats and its lack of fine-tuning often made me frustrated or bored.- Video Chums

Chime Sharp retains the addictive gameplay of the original yet there are few innovations that make it a worthy sequel. That being said, it's worth adding to your collection for the brilliant soundtrack alone.- Video Chums

Strikers 1945 II is a step up from the original but it still doesn't quite reach the heights of other classic shmups. The refined gameplay mechanics and added challenge make it a unique enough experience so if you enjoyed the first then you'll want to play this as well.- Video Chums

If you're looking for a wacky and colourful competitive puzzler that can be enjoyed by casual and hardcore gamers alike then Sushi Striker is a solid experience. Just don't expect it to be as fulfilling as consuming 100 plates of raw fish.- Video Chums

A Hole New World is a fantastic tribute to retro 2D action games and it also crafts a unique gameplay formula that's both challenging and rewarding. You may not play it for more than a couple of hours but the time you spend with it will definitely be memorable.- Video Chums

I'm having a lot of fun with Demeo and look forward to enjoying more online matches within its tricky monster-filled dungeons. It may ache my neck looking down for so long but in the end, I'd say it's worth it for the amount of fun that it offers.- Video Chums

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE does a good job of refreshing the mystery solving formula with fun mini-games and an attractive neon city backdrop; that is, if you can sit through hours of banter between the more enjoyable parts.- Video Chums

In Bugsnax, the bugs are snacks and that's quite cool. Beyond that, its relaxing open-world objective-based gameplay is solid for winding down with after a long day but it doesn't really have much else going for it.- Video Chums

If you're looking for a hardcore SRPG then you'll likely be disappointed by Relayer but it's still a satisfying spacefaring adventure that features enjoyable cinematic combat, incredible audio, and a memorable cast of characters.- Video Chums

I had a lovely time revisiting SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered as it's one of the most memorable RPGs from when I was a cub. At the same time, I forgot just how frustrating of a game it can be so please keep that in mind before giving it a go.- Video Chums

Astrune Academy offers a memorable adventure with its stellar cast of students and gorgeous artwork but gameplay-wise, it can fall flat at times, especially with its simplistic and generally unchallenging campaign.- Video Chums

At the end of the day, Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is a solid retro-inspired action game that does a good job of offering a satisfying albeit brief campaign. You could definitely do a lot worse but there is substantial room for improvement, that's for sure.- Video Chums

Superola and The Lost Burgers is a perfect game for those looking to have a little fun within a ridiculously goofy world. The amount of variety and modes may be superb but don't count on enjoying it for longer than a few hours.- Video Chums

Moonlighter: Between Dimensions offers solid value. The Wanderer Dungeon took me 10 to 15 hours and Moonlighter is still a pretty good dungeon crawler that I appreciate for its graphics, music, and bosses. However, be wary of its more repetitive aspects.- Video Chums

Nobody Wants to Die delivers an entertaining dystopian film noir story that explores immortality and transhumanism through the eyes of a burned out New York City detective in the year 2329. Its impressive world is enjoyable to explore and the story kept me interested enough to see it to its conclusion although it is very linear and the writing could definitely be improved.- Video Chums

I found Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden's story to be stronger than the first's yet when it comes to gameplay; it doesn't do much to make it feel fresh. It has me wondering how many of these titles there will be and how well future installments will hold up.- Video Chums

Trailblazers is an enjoyable racer with a very cool colour mechanic and a stellar throwback presentation that's highly reminiscent of the Dreamcast era. Even though it has a few drawbacks, fans of arcade racing games should still check it out.- Video Chums

It's rare to come across a puzzler as enjoyable and challenging as Sokobond, especially considering the fact that it's educational albeit in a subtle way. With lots of puzzles to solve, you'll gladly combine elements for hours within its campaign that's full of variety.- Video Chums
