As a historical narrative told through a personal perspective, 1979 Revolution: Black Friday is certainly a capable piece of media but as a video game, it quickly falls apart and simply doesn't feel finished.

In the end, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is a mediocre Musou title. The action of wiping out giant hordes of enemies is exhilarating at first and the gameplay is rather polished but unfortunately, that's all there is to it and there's no feeling of escalation.

Cannibal Cuisine is definitely a fun and irreverent couch co-op game that'll appeal to anyone with a sick sense of humour. With that in mind, it's a disappointingly short experience and it plays it rather safe by being a little too similar to Overcooked.

With its frantic new modes and spot-on gameplay, playing Mario Golf: Super Rush is the most amount of fun I've had with a sports game in a very long time. Throw in that iconic Nintendo charm and comprehensive multiplayer and you're left with a hole-in-one.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack is an enjoyable collection of over 130 songs to bang your drum to with 2 story campaigns that provide a fun alternative to the typical gameplay even if their overall formula remains a bit too simplistic.

to a T really connected with me and lifted my spirits during a particularly rough time. If you sometimes struggle in life and especially if you're disabled, I sincerely can't recommend this adorable, silly, and heartwarming game enough.

Suicide Guy has a fresh albeit morbid premise. I wish the core gameplay had been a little more refined because the memorable and creative solutions are great but sometimes, it can be quite a pain to put your suicide plans into action.

As far as challenging co-op adventures go, Biped is one of the best. So, if you enjoy adorable 3D platformers, playing with a friend, and a solid amount of challenge then you're sure to fall in love with this couple of robotic chums.

Back in 2015, Until Dawn would have made a bigger impact for its bold movie-like experience but now, it certainly falls a bit flat.

There's quite a lot that I like about Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered and some parts, not so much. Particularly, the loading times, the predictable story, and how the later regions aren't much different to the beginning of the game. However, it's still a very fun destruction-based campaign that offers a great variety of missions to take on within its large open world.

If I can summarize the entirety of Shining Resonance Refrain into one word, it would be generic. It looks and sounds great and features a charming cast of characters but the gameplay is ultimately much too "been there, done that".

The Last Remnant has a less traditional approach to combat, having you command unions of allies to take down enemy forces with strategy, luck, and patience. Although its campaign lacks variety, the story, unique characters, and world will keep you intrigued.

Touhou Genso Wanderer is a capable Mystery Dungeon game but it doesn't quite live up to its contemporaries. That being said, those who crave more classic roguelike fun after last year's phenomenal Shiren release will find a lot to love here.

My time spent with Little Dragons Cafe was bittersweet. The story, graphics, and exploration are enjoyable for a while but the terrible pacing, graphical issues, and often annoying controls will likely make you leave a less than stellar Yelp review for this cafe.

Megadimension Neptunia VII is a brilliant game that's worth playing through for any fan of quirky JRPGs. That being said, this Switch version currently performs poorly and it's definitely not the best version of Nep-Nep's grandest adventure.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a decent 3D platformer that does a great job of capturing the magic of what makes the cartoon as appealing as it is. If you don't mind its lack of challenge, I'd say give it a go but just keep any pins away from Patrick, ok?

If Terminator 2D: NO FATE released back in the day, it would have been a huge step up from the light gun games but it still wouldn't manage to reach the heights of run 'n' gun classics and considering this was made decades later, why even bother?
