When I first loaded up Outlast 2, I expected an unsettling experience and that's what I got. Unfortunately, it wasn't always for the reasons the developers intended. If you can get through its many frustrating sequences, there are some good scares awaiting you but it's an incredibly flawed affair that will surely come as a disappointment to fans of the original.- Video Chums

Skee-Ball is a simple and enjoyable arcade classic. However, you'd expect a console version to come with all sorts of bells and whistles and the fact that this doesn't include many means that you're better off playing it in an arcade.- Video Chums

I'm a little disappointed with this first pack of DLC given that it's so short, the tomb isn't very interesting, and the two new modes are quite similar. However, I love that co-op mode is introduced as it's definitely the most promising addition. Here's hoping for more interesting scenery and lengthier challenges in future DLC packs.- Video Chums

If you played Destroy All Humans! when it originally released and have some nostalgia for it then this might be worth playing but for the rest of us, this is a game that should have stayed locked away in Area 51.- Video Chums

Jurassic World Evolution 2 isn't exactly a bad game but it's not one that I would call fun. Sure, it's a compelling experience and the joy of being able to play with dinosaurs is unique but the bugs are a massive hindrance that make it far more frustrating than it should be.- Video Chums

Astro Bears Party has a solid concept yet it fails to deliver any long-lasting good times. In other words, it's like swatting a delicious-looking salmon from the river only to realise that it doesn't have much meat on its bones.- Video Chums

Developer Videocult took a brave chance with Rain World. They've stripped it of almost all the traditional video game tropes, leaving just an aggressively difficult 2D survival platformer. Purists may find a lot to love here but in my eyes, it's simply an interesting concept that fails at being an enjoyable video game.- Video Chums

Peril on Gorgon feels like another Outer Worlds mission and while that may have been okay 6 months ago, it's too little, too late now.- Video Chums

In the end, Resident Evil: Resistance is a passable yet unremarkable multiplayer game. Playing as a mastermind offers more amusement but being a survivor is too dependent on communication which can be a problem. Even if you're playing under ideal conditions, it sadly loses its appeal very quickly. Specifically, it's not a bad game but it's certainly hard to recommend for long-term play.- Video Chums

There's no denying that White Shadows' atmosphere and visuals are the stars of the show so I sincerely want to see the developers make a second game that hopefully offers a lot more substantial gameplay and perhaps a narrative that's open to some interpretation.- Video Chums

Although Paddle Vs. Paddle is a very bare-bones game and has a disappointing single player component, I must admit that the concept is solid for some enjoyable multiplayer matches. Hopefully, the developer will make an expanded version down the road.- Video Chums

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? is a middle-of-the-road trivia game that's so full of padding that it becomes boring fast. I can only recommend it to kids but even then, I doubt that many youngsters will have the patience to sit through a whole game.- Video Chums

Pokemon Snap left me in a worried state for the franchise. Between Pokemon Legends: Arceus and the Gen IV remake coming up, I had high hopes. Now, it feels like the developers have lulled themselves into an outdated and boring pattern of game design. In other words, there is a lot to love in the new generation of Pokemon but unfortunately, there's a lot to be skeptical about as well.- Video Chums

A King's Tale is an interesting tie-in to the popular yet polarizing Final Fantasy XV. Retro fans will probably despise it due to its awful interpretation of classic beat 'em ups but its simple gameplay is easily digestible for casual gamers.- Video Chums

Given some work, Trulon can be a worthwhile RPG. As it is, I can't possibly widely recommend it but I do hope to see a reworked version release eventually because there's definitely a lot of potential here.- Video Chums

Its premise is incredibly promising yet Kandagawa Jet Girls does nothing but disappoint with its monotonously slow racing that feels like it's aimed towards small children but should kids really play a game with excessive thong shots and bouncing boobs? Probably not.- Video Chums

The Occupation is a classic example of a concept with great promise but poor execution. The massive amount of bugs that hamper progress and the lack of a proper stealth system constantly get in the way of being able to enjoy this admittedly unique experience.- Video Chums

I'm sure it has its niche but if you're simply an RPG fan looking for a new game to sink some time into, you can do a lot better than Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris. Its lack of respect for the player's time and unforgivable performance issues are downright ridiculous.- Video Chums

8DAYS may have a solid premise but the execution of its mechanics isn't well handled. I imagine that if the developers retooled all of its irritating elements, 8DAYS would be an easily recommendable title. As it is, I doubt anyone could thorough enjoy it.- Video Chums

Dungeon Munchies is a clunky and repetitive game that will oddly get its hooks in you once you begin to understand its unconventional gameplay. It's still an irritating experience, though, but one that is somewhat endearing with its off-the-wall humour.- Video Chums
