STARBITES may be generic in a lot of ways but there's no denying how charming its cast is and how well its many elements come together to formulate a rewarding battle system that gradually becomes more strategic as you progress.

Akuma Rise is one of my new favourite retro-inspired RPGs thanks to its meaty story and orb management system that'll keep you happily experimenting with breaking down and building up your arsenal as you forge ahead through its unconventional game world.

    ZPF
As an enjoyable yet standard 16-bit shoot 'em up, ZPF is a merely passable shooter albeit with some fleeting moments of fun here and there.

Aphelion tells a gripping story of humanity's last chance for survival on a distant frozen planet through the eyes of 2 astronauts. The adventuring segments aren't as enjoyable as the story but if you're a fan of DON'T NOD games, you won't want to miss this one.
