Classic Sonic is back and, whilst it does many good things, it also falls shorts in many aspects, becoming a fun game that still is too far from the classics.

Pharaon is a good game and fans of the franchise will love it, but at this point the series are starting to feel a bit too repetitive, and we would like to see a bigger evolution in the upcoming entries.

Chants of Sennaar shines when focusing on translating unknown languages, but its puzzles and stealth sequences are not as good and make the game worse.

Cocoon is one of the biggest surprises of the year for us. Thanks to its magnificent design, this one-button game ends up being more surprising and memorable than most AAAs these days.

As a game for Pokémon’s younger fans, it works, but everything is too simple and guided for those looking even for the smallest challenge.

Mirage is more of a tribute that a return to the classics, but the setting, the level design and the reasonable length are welcome changes to make Assassin’s Creed more enjoyable for the fans of the first games.

As a driving game, Forza Motorsport is fantastic, but the lack of content and even ambition after a six-year break makes the return a bit more overwhelming than we expected.

We Were Here changes its format to deliver shorter (and cheaper) adventures, while keeping its formula intact and offering yet another fun puzzle challenge to solve with a friend.

We’ve had such a good time playing Party Animals with friends. It definitely needs more content and new ideas, but even now it’s a great party game that anyone can play and have a great time.

Bringing back this series seemed like a good idea, but the execution is flawed, and we don’t think it will be appealing for neither fans or newcomers.

Payday 3 is lacking content, but that’s the easy part to fix. Luckily, the base is fantastic, and we’ve had a great time playing with friends.

Cyberpunk 2077 isn't going to magically become a perfect game, but CD Projekt's title is arguably now in better shape than ever. It still has its shortcomings, such as the lack of importance that our statistics have outside of combat, but many of its other problems have been solved either with previous updates or with the 2.0 update that concerns us today. The Phantom Liberty expansion, for its part, offers us a lot of entertaining and quality content, with some more linear and spectacular moments that have left us with our mouths open and, if we combine both, it seems like the best time to travel for the first time or to return to Night City.

This is a great fighting game, that still hasn’t fixed some issues from the past, but still manages to deliver fun, polished, complex and, of course, bloody combats that fans will love.

NBA 2K24 is fantastic when it comes to its gameplay, but its extreme focus on microtransations ends up hurting the experience.

Still a step behind the classics, but a fantastic title for a team that doesn’t have much experience. A great game for Soulslike fans.

Motorfest a game full of content, with good ideas and plenty of things to experience, but gameplay-wise it feels a bit bland and lacks personality.

Bomberman is back expanding what we’ve seen in the franchise’s previous game, with new additions and tons of hours of fun to be had in its multiplayer.

Sea of Stars is the perfect balance between tribute and nostalgia, and a great RPG with its own ideas. If you like the genre, you cannot miss it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the best RPGs ever made, and its PS5 version doesn’t make any compromises, with a fantastic port and even cross-save.
