Because of the wide RPG library in PS2 and PSP, and sspecially in PS2 during his ten years of life, Mana Khemia can sneak modestly between hardcore Atelier Iris fans. There are not many surprises in this game, which is too conservative, but can offer some hours of fun.

Soviet Assault is still an indispensable title, although the developers should have included more new features or, at least, more missions in the campaign mode.

Ultimately, Codename Panzers: Cold War is a very good real time strategy game that delivers enough in all its aspects, but doesn't offer something brand new. Although enjoying the intense action of the game is satisfying, it will often look as it we had been there before.

New features in this revision might seem too few. There are no new game modes, nor a graphics overhaul or interesting new things apart from the new control.

Ultimately, this is one of the most surprising titles of the previous Nintendo console, and undoubtedly it will take by surprise those who didn't have the chance to enjoy it then. Unfortunately, there are some unpolished aspects, like the technical part of the game, although the worst thing we've found is the absence of the online component, which would have dramatically increased the fun in this game.

If you like classic brawlers, Watchmen is one of the best 3D adaptations of this formula ever made, and the best in recent times. It can become repetitive; in fact it is, what matters is if you like it enough. With a striking technical part because of its price-quality relation, and some very fun features, Watchmen deserves at least a try.

Halo Wars is possibly the best real-time strategy game ever made for console. It captures all the essence of the genre and, for the first time, translates it to our gamepad with absolute success. It's not like the dominating sort of strategy game in PCs, but it has its own, well defined personality, and its specific features, which define Halo Wars as a solid and outstanding bet.

Empire Total War is outstanding in all its features, one of those games which are enjoyable from beginning to end. You could hardly stop playing for weeks. It is a cliche to say it, but Creative Assembly have truly surpassed themselves; Empire: Total Wars is one of those masterpieces no videogame fan should let escape.

Tom Clancy's Hawx is a very welcome game because of the current shortage of this kind of title and the good ideas it brings, which are implemented well, in a natural way, and in a few hours it would seem as if those "virtual ways" would have been part of the genre's gameplay since its birth.

Undoubtedly, this will be one of the most talked about games of the Sonic franchise. Its story and presentation are good. However, the many errors in control completely diminish the experience and could make many to lose their patience.

Killzone 2 is not perfect, but it's magnificent, with visuals that clarify what PlayStation 3 can -and will be able to- do, and with excellent gameplay and its own, very inmersive style.

Videogame humor is the main -and almost only- strong part of Eat Lead, but it falls to be, in fact, a good game. It is not bad, but actually what it proposes in gameplay has been already made a lot of times with better results.

Although it's not one of the most original titles of the year in terms of concepts, nor one of the games which stand out for its technical aspects in the console portfolio, No Gravity: The Plague of Mind is an enjoyable and entertaining game which will please shoot'em up fans.

In Star Ocean: The Last Hope its gameplay excels, with intense and satisfying combat which give the game a good pace. But its story is really shallow, and lacks something in character and situations building, although it keeps the gamer interested enough to keep playing.

Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop is a more than decent adaptation of the essence which made such a great game of the original Capcom title. Unfortunately, the technical part of the game is not elaborated enough, with several flaws that diminish that game experience and thus affect gameplay. Despite everything, it is an enjoyable game, provided we can forgive its flaws.

Tom Clancy's Endwar is a very good strategy game, a experience that no genre fan should let escape, because the sensation of having under our command such a number of troops who obey our orders is just fantastic. Its biggest problem, though, is its shallowness in strategic options in comparison with what we are used to seeing on PC.

Race Pro not only stands as a realistic simulation experience, but also has almost everything a player can demand from a title of this sort. Apart from that, it needed some polishing in its technical aspects, and doesn't have enough additional content like more game modes or different elements, which would have given the experience some more variety and made for a more solid game. But despite what it lacks, this is one of the best representations of racing simulation, and SimBin has finally been able to translate to a console what has been bringing to PC for years.

Street Fighter IV is a very welcomed arrival of a classic that returns stronger than ever. Its adaptation to current times, making the most of the current graphical capacity to enhance the experience without taking unnecessary risks, and keeping the same gameplay which made it triumph, yet with interesting changes, is an example of how a franchise can be resurrected and led to present without losing its essence.

This new edition of Dragon Quest is with no doubt one of the best RPG titles up to date in the console portfolio. Despite that it is basically an old title, with a very classic game system that doesn't take advantage of the Nintendo DS possibilities, and an improved yet retro technical aspect, nonetheless it was and remains being a milestone in the RPG genre history.
