Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming takes the world of farms to a different path from the main series, but not far from its essence, theme and amusement.

Mirror of Fate is a good game, but it can disappoint fans used to the Metroidvania formula.

Mushroom Wars 2 is a strategy game with cool design and mechanics, but you need some skill at higher levels. Having quick matches, the game gives a good amount of hours of play, even though it does not have a very diverse history. Hero skills are the key factor, which makes the game more fun and strategic, especially in multiplayer matches.

The DX version of Sigma Star Saga is an excellent shmup with RPG elements, imbued with a nice and mature story that grants a dark atmosphere like those seen in Metroid Fusion and MGS Ghost Babel. Despite that, more in-game extras and a better rebalance of the experience system, since the random encounters were reduced, would make a huge difference.

Souldiers is a metroidvania with potential. It has a good story and very creative enemies, but the constant technical problems greatly hinder the game experience.

With 30 hours of massive game play, lots of playable characters, rich post game and nicely crafted scenarios, it will take weeks for the player to enjoy it to the fullest.

Just Dance 2022 brings with it the revamp players have been waiting for in choreography and scenarios to make the experience of the title much more enjoyable and to justify itself as a true sequel to the Just Dance franchise. The party is guaranteed to be on for buyers of the game.

Layers of Fear is a really interesting experience. It has a well-written story and a sound narrative, along with great features and nice visuals. On the other hand, there still are some issues regarding some psychological horror aspects that undermine the overall quality of the game.

Boyfriend Dungeon is an extremely creative game that appeals to an unusual story that works in a surprising way. It has charismatic characters and gives the player complete freedom of choice. The downside is the low difficulty of combat and gameplay.

Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege is a competent game with a nice difficulty balance and curve for those who want to spend some time in a metroidvania title. The lack of content, though, lets the game become obsolete pretty soon.

Aeon Drive is frantic and makes you think about playing like a speedrunner. It's a full plate for those who like to compete this way. However, the game lacks the basics and has some performance issues.

Demonschool is my favorite indie game of the year. It delivers a solid story, a wonderfully diverse cast of unique characters, and a battle system that puts a fresh, clever twist on tactical RPGs. All in all, it’s a delightfully engaging way to spend your time.

Super Daryl Deluxe is the product of a sincere and naive creativity. There are some flaws in the combat system, but they never frustrate to a point that I wanted to give up on the game. I recommend it to everyone in search of a feature rich and uncompromising experience.

Yurukill is a great game, with awesome music and artwork, but specially well designed in all the variety of genres it provides. What makes it hard to recommend is that all the genres are very different from one another to appeal to all audiences. Without the capacity to play the Shmup sessions alone without the need to finish the game once, or disable the Shoot-em up sessions for those who only want to play the Visual Novel, the game may not appeal to you, even if you are a fan of one of those genres.

The extrapolated difficulty of Go! Go! Kokopolo can either be a problem for some and charming for others. The polishing of the game at Nintendo level, however, is beneficial for everyone.

Despite its original art style, eerie mood and fast paced puzzles, the game doesn't redeem itself from its simplicity and boredom. It's very short, which is a good thing, and only recommended for those who don't have anything better to play.

Smoke and Sacrifice has a narrative that keep the player curious from beginning to end. The graphics and soundtrack blend together in a memorable way. Featuring a very intuitive crafting system and a simple combat system. Overall, it's a great game for those who like the genre, but for new players it might be ignored.

Just Dance 2019 is a great game to pass the time if you're a casual player, likes parties or to have fun with friends and family. The musical variety in this new entry is great, however, the lack of innovative features and the removal of Smartphones as a controller option hurts the title.

Cotton 100% is pure nostalgia and brings with it the best shoot ‘em ups of its time, a great combination of gameplay and visuals. It's just a shame they didn't localize the game's dialogues into English at least.

Ninja Gaiden Master Collection consists of three great action titles in a collection made with the bare minimum of effort. For a historical series like Ninja Gaiden, it is a shame that we haven’t received a product that is worthy of the legacy that these titles have built.

Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet had everything to be the best generation in the history of the franchise, and maybe these games still are, but the expansive and fun story is hurt by the enormous amount of visual bugs and performance issues, as well as the fact that the movement freedom is limited by the fixed levels of challenges. Despite that, it's a game worth playing.

Ten years after it's original Wii release, the colors of De Blob seems a little faded. The gameplay is repetitive and that makes the main campaign, which is long, a little bit tiring. The change of motion controls to regular controls is a welcome change, just like the possibility of playing this in a portable. The soundtrack is great and there's a good number of local multiplayer options.

OddBallers has all the elements needed for an amazing party game, both to play with your friends and family at home and to play online for hours. What blocks it from doing it is the high price, which chases away many people who would love to play it.

Moon is not a perfect game. However, even with failures in some technical points, its qualities show it can be considered one of the best DS games recently launched and that it is healthy to find other sources for genres usually stepped aside. Never before a publisher was so categorical at this point, but, definitely, this game must not be forgotten.

Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered is such a gorgeous version of the three first games of the Tomb Raider saga. However, the changes in the controls were disappointing and handled with no care, besides the camera that's almost impossible to tame at some moments. In the end, the experience relies on nostalgia more than anything else.
