For casual fans, this is still a great action brawler but keep in mind that it can get a little bit repetitive after a little while, despite the many characters and environments available. However, it is certainly the best superhero game out there right now for the iPhone.- TouchGen

Penumbear is a quality puzzle platformer with a lot of content, and unsettling presentation. It never feels casual, and finding all the hidden stuff means you have to be prepared to have Penumbear impaled on spikes quite a lot. Not a game for the kiddies, but rather a game for those into darker games such as Limbo, Nihilumbra or Oscura.- TouchGen

Cut the rope experiments then is very much more of the same. But when more of the same is this good, then it's not always a bad thing.- TouchGen

With online scores, and achievements through OpenFeint gamelife the game turns into a complete package. To me Giana Sisters is among the best platform games for the iPhone alongside Soosiz and Earthworm Jim.- TouchGen

Sky Combat does nothing new. It is, however, a great example of the genre. Any fan of arcade shooters won't want to miss it.- TouchGen

If you want a fun rogue experience I can fully recommend Sword of Fargoal. It is polished, has loads of gamelife and you can win $500 if you manage to be the first to actually find the Sword of Fargoal giving quite a lot of incentive to find it.- TouchGen

Even without spending any money or unlocking every single element in the game, The Sandbox is still a wonderful time killer that is perfect for people who enjoy experimenting, destroying, and building in a fun sandbox environment.- TouchGen

This is an overall well executed port of a great game, a game that would go on to inspire the famed job system in Final Fantasy Tactics. If you’re a fan of the original release or a fan of JRPGs in general, you will likely find something to enjoy in Final Fantasy V.- TouchGen

Overall the visuals really do steal the show. Strip all that back and underneath it is a pretty standard Super Sprint style racer.- TouchGen

Downloadable currencies and content aside, the base game of Kingdom Rush Frontiers is an enjoyable one, and it comes highly recommended to existing fans of the genre.- TouchGen

I would have been sold on Battle of the Bulge as a regular PC wargame, but the fact that it is an iPad only release and a brilliant one at that makes it all the sweeter as an iOS gamer.- TouchGen

Despite the control issues Incoboto has a lot going for it. I found it offers up one of the best puzzle platformers on the AppStore. Even if it doesn't feature a Mario and Glados face-off!- TouchGen

Among all the games trying to push hugely detailed worlds, and console-like experiences, it's always nice to find a game that fits perfectly within its iOS surroundings. Delivering a tight, focused and tailor-made experience that I challenge any gamer not to fall in love with. It joins like-minded titles like Bumpy Road, as true AppStore gems.- TouchGen

A fun simulation game with cool graphics, and a enjoyable vibe. Being on the easy and short side, and lacking online leaderboards hurt it quite a lot. Still it is worth getting if you have enjoyed the other titles from Kairosoft.- TouchGen

Every few months a new game comes out that absolutely dominates my iOS gaming, and Zombie Carnaval is that game. Mobigame has taken the best parts out of one-touch, forward-motion platforming games and thrown in enough features and charm to really make this title stand out above the rest.- TouchGen

Micro Miners is one of the biggest surprises of the year that came out of nowhere. Unique intensely satisfying gameplay paired with a cool presentation makes it one of those games that should be part of all iOS collections.- TouchGen

A brilliant game to play for that ten minute break, or on the bus. It lacks long term appeal due to both being so intense, and because there are too many modes and choices to make.- TouchGen

A thrilling ride from beginning to end. Its crazy japanese visual style combined with a mash up of rock and techno music (including a cameo from tubular bells) is a joy to behold. Combine that with intense shooter action, item upgrades, a bizarre storyline, and multiple endings, and you have one of the best shooters on the AppStore.- TouchGen

Gameloft state that this is the most ambitious action RPG yet to grace the AppStore. Ambition is one thing, but delivering on that ambition is quite another. Unfortunately, Sacred Odyssey is lacking in too many areas, many of which are paramount for this genre to succeed.- TouchGen

But while it is an almost perfect rendition of the game, the strafing problem with the default controls will annoy die-hard fans, making this version of DOOM more of a mobile companion piece, than the definitive version.- TouchGen

The presentation is stellar: both in graphics, and sound. The levels are also varied forcing you to find new ways to optimize the effect of each throw. To me this is almost a perfect game, and the only thing I really miss is a local multiplayer mode that would make this a real party game for a long time.- TouchGen

I approached Star Wars Pinball as someone largely unfamiliar with what pinball has become in recent days. After spending some time with it, I am interested in delving in to the rest of Zen Studios’ pinball offerings. I can’t say if this is their best work, but it is a damn fine pinball game, and one that leverages a beloved film franchise.- TouchGen
