Great Little War Game is the kind of game you can really sink your teeth into, which is rare enough. So I'm delighted to discover that it's also rich in features, good looking and full of humor.- TouchArcade

At least Chromanoids is a good homage to those games in every other way, with stylish retro art, a campy storyline and good sound.- TouchArcade

Mini Meteors isn't the most elegant or original game I've played, but it is a good take on gameplay that I haven't seen before on iOS.- TouchArcade

By the end of the 20 levels, Popstar Physics feels more like an add-on pack of levels for Save Toshi than a verifiable sequel, but considering it's free for the time being, it's difficult to complain. The new mechanics show a lot of promise and although the core remains the same, the switch from "save" to "crush" is interesting enough you'll likely be begging for more.- TouchArcade

The best part of this whole game, is that no dragon would ever invest in it. Also, if your primary region is the US App Store, you can't even download this game if you wanted to.- TouchArcade

Action Buggy is one of those games where the average game session is measured in seconds rather than minutes, but in that elusive "success is just another try away" way.- TouchArcade

If you can get past the MMO grind– a fact made easier by the regular PvP battlegrounds that are a real spectacle– IMO has alot going for it in both its social features and its huge game world.- TouchArcade

If you enjoyed the original, there is absolutely no reason to not pick up the sequel. They took everything about the original, freshened it up, and repackaged it in to something that feels like an entirely new game instead of just an expansion of the first.- TouchArcade

Gobtron is one of those games that could be recommended just based on the weirdness factor alone, but it's also a unique take on a defense game and is really pretty fun anyway. It's a bit too short and light on content, but what's here is worth playing if you can deal with the low brow nature of the game.- TouchArcade

Tactical Soldier is a pleasant surprise for fans of tactical turn-based strategy games. It's incredibly challenging, but as such it's also incredibly satisfying when you figure out the best way to deal with the many scenarios in the game.- TouchArcade

I really like how retro-ized the whole game is, and how the graphics and interface are designed to look just like a cocktail table arcade machine.- TouchArcade

Squid Drop won't set the App Store ablaze as the next fully featured console-like game, but it offers a good dose of simple fun if you're looking for a new high score time waster.- TouchArcade

The 20 included episodes are far less than the console versions, and due to their linear nature there's not really much reason to replay them multiple times, but the developer seems keen on adding additional episodes and features in updates.- TouchArcade

While playing, I thought a lot about game design in general, how it empowers us and enforces the notion that we can accomplish greater things if we work hard enough and stick to a given task or dream. I wish this game actually pounded away at this notion.- TouchArcade

So, if you're a fan of WWE and its brand of muscle-bound entertainment or just a dude tweaking over the lack of Angry Birds content, I'd say go ahead and give this one a go. I dug it and I'm the kind of guy who often rolls his eyes at Angry Birds references.- TouchArcade

With enough practice, some people may warm up to the style of multiplayer battling in Resident Evil Mercenaries VS, but with so many far superior online multiplayer experiences on iOS already it doesn't seem worth the effort.- TouchArcade

I'm not usually a big fan of tilt-only games, but Air Penguin definitely does it right. The tilting is extremely accurate, so it makes completing acrobatic leaps of faith a joy rather than frustrating.- TouchArcade

Like I said, fans should dig this one; detractors won't. "Get Tannen" does nothing super special other than add to the fiction, which I imagine would be fine for everyone who enjoyed the first installment of the game series and are looking for more.- TouchArcade

Despite any criticisms though, Elemental Rage is one of the best experiences you can have if you enjoy a good action-platforming game. The iPad version looks great on the larger screen, but it feels a bit more natural to play on the easier to handle iPhone or iPod touch.- TouchArcade

While fans (and superfans… there are plenty in our forum) of Game Dev Story will undoubtedly be thrilled with Hot Springs Story, newbies to the land of Kairosoft will probably cringe a bit at the less than perfect graphics and the initial chaotic nature of the action. There's a lot going on at once, and until you really get the hang of what everything does it can seem daunting.- TouchArcade
