Incredibly solid, full of humor, and packed with enough variety in gameplay to keep you coming back for a long while, it made it worth sitting through 50 games mired in crappy control or graphics.- TotalPlayStation

Considering the diminutive offering compared to other GT games, you'd think this would feel lacking in some way. It falters at times, yes, but Prologue is an honest-to-goodness peek at what's to come. Oh, and it's a hell of a game to boot.- TotalPlayStation

Capcom fixed a few flaws from the first game, but left a lot of them intact the second time around. That doesn't mean it isn't still a blast to explore Fortune City, just don't expect too much here and you won't be disappointed.- TotalPlayStation

This game needed online play. I've already spent a bazillion hours with the first two games, and what would have made this feel truly fresh would have been playing against other vets. Consider me bummed.- TotalPlayStation

On top of making an online experience that rivals the PC version (though again, the two really exist in their own respective worlds and should stay that way), the single-player game can absolutely make you better when it comes time to take on someone online.- TotalPlayStation

Dammit, EA, I want my effing SSX game back. This is NOT the direction the series needed to head in, and I'm sure there had to be some dissenting parties in place up in Vancouver. Maybe next time you'll listen to them.- TotalPlayStation

Solid, yes, but familiar. I mean no disrespect for the men that died protecting freedom, but considering I was born a good 30 years after the war ended, familiarity with this setting probably isn't a good thing.- TotalPlayStation

As dee-lish as all the camp and nostalgia is, it's also very reminiscent of the source material; pretty, stylish, but ultimately rather vapid when it comes to depth.- TotalPlayStation

Revengeance only falters in its overall length. There's plenty of replay value, of course, but this is one of the rare times when gameplay can't quite overcome the lack of a meaty core experience. Still, this is a game not to be missed, folks.- TotalPlayStation

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is a great technical achievement for the PSP and yet it feels like a few interesting single player focused additions would have made it an instant hit.- TotalPlayStation

Get ready for 10 more years of nonsense and trickery. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 truly showcases the Vita's power, packing every last mode and feature from the PS3 version into the palm of your hand. No rookie or veteran fight fan should miss it.- TotalPlayStation

There's something for everyone with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. Now is the perfect time to jump into one of the best series out there as it's never been more accessible. PS Move owners, even non-golf fans, should give it a second look as well.- TotalPlayStation

MLB Power Pros' greatest asset is the presentation. No nonsense and adorably charming, the game suckers you in with what seems to be a simple little game of Baseball Lite, but the deeper you plug into it, the more you realize just how much time and effort was put into making the game appear simple.- TotalPlayStation

The Darkness is a meaty, emotional, visceral experience that few games will ever be able to match. Starbreeze's next-gen debut hits on some many levels that we're almost scared to think of what they'll do next.- TotalPlayStation

A true improvement in every way The BIGS 2 proves Blue Castle Games wasn't just a one-hit wonder, and they've established themselves as the premier torch bearer for arcade sports games. Even sports game haters will find plenty to love here.- TotalPlayStation

The storyline does an amazing job of slowly expanding in scope (though it does bog down a bit in the middle of the game, most of the stuff it trudges through stays relevant well after the scope of the game has outgrown the smaller conflict), and the twists will absolutely knock you on your ass, while battles are fast, interesting and offer a nicely customizable way to trudge through the grind of leveling up all your characters.- TotalPlayStation

It's more action-driven, the setting feels more natural, and the gameplay has been refined enough that I think it could seriously hook MGS fans looking for something tide them over between Metal Gear Online matches or kill time until "MGS4" finally arrives.- TotalPlayStation

Irem has, possibly more than any game they've made in recent memory, crafted a shooter that is at once faithful to the challenge of the original shooters that came before it, and utterly accessible to anyone experiencing it for the first time, and they've thrown in a remarkable amount of depth and just plain fun to keep both sides equally true to the source material. R-Type Final is a blast, plain and simple.- TotalPlayStation

If you have a couple friends and an afternoon to charge through the game with them, you're going to have a blast. The single-player experience is still fun, but without the lure of real teamwork, the rougher spots of the game tend to punch through to the fore during inopportune times.- TotalPlayStation

GrimGrimoire is a brilliant, gorgeous, enthralling game that works just as well as a living art piece as it does as an RTS. The gameplay is fantastic, the storyline has hooks and the game is just flat-out gorgeous. But it. Buy it now.- TotalPlayStation

At its core, Wipeout 2048 is a solid arcade racer, but it suffers from a few too many poor design decisions to truly shine. Die hard series fanatics will still find a lot to enjoy, but mileage may vary for first time players.- TotalPlayStation
