It’s hard to knock Chrome Specforce too heavily simply because of its bargain price, however you have to question whether that’s a reason to invest in such a bland experience that only offers a mediocre interpretation of something we’ve seen on countless occasions. Gameplay flaws, bugs and glitches are one thing, a complete lack of imagination in terms of a videogame however is a distinctly different matter.- Total Video Games

Although an improvement over the original, Dog Days - like its predecessor - is a game of two halves: a disappointing single-player somewhat rectified by enjoyably innovative and strategic multiplayer modes. We wouldn't have too many problems with the duration of the campaign if Dog Days packed every hour full of unforgettable moments, but as it stands it quickly degenerates into the chasm of forgettable, derivative Gears clones.- Total Video Games

The real problem is that it has been done so many times before that at some stages in the game you get that déjà vu feeling you played the same location, executed the exact move and experienced the same sequence of events but this time it's a Kangaroo you are sharing it with and not another endearing character.- Total Video Games

An average tie-in that's not without its merits, and one that will appeal to fans of the film and a younger audience. Jaded older gamers however will find very little to sustain your interest.- Total Video Games

Calling 24: The Game a disappointment is a bit of an understatement. Its uninspired third-person shooter gameplay and sluggishly dull driving sections really do fail to capture the brilliance of the TV show, with the mini-game puzzles and the rare idea representing the only spark of creativity in the entire game.- Total Video Games

At times it just doesn’t glue together which is a shame, this could have been an all time classic. But still a good little game.- Total Video Games

Questions over what the remake is ultimately trying to achieve and the failure to capture the very essence of the original (beyond the cute and chirpy presentation), along with the limited use of the DS and the pathetic length, make this one to leave on the shop shelf, even if you do fondly recall the original.- Total Video Games

There’s no getting away from the fact that this is nothing more then a standard Mario Kart clone, albeit one with lots to do and lots of extras to uncover and one that captures the Looney Tunes license perfectly.- Total Video Games

Being a fan of the series it hurts to see the Leisure Suit Larry franchise brought up to date like this, a lot more thought and effort was needed instead of just relying on the boobs.- Total Video Games

Light, amusing, and fun in short bursts, Cooking Mama seems like such a suitable title for Wii. Unfortunately, the overall result is hampered by an imprecise control system that throws skill and any sense of weight or meaning to one side, along with a lack of structure that leaves the game little more than a novel yet ultimately trivial experience - ideal for the Wii demographic it seems.- Total Video Games

It is a bit of a disappointment in that Empires doesn't look or feel like a next-gen title, instead it's more like a High-Def version of a current-gen game.- Total Video Games

A reasonable action title that manages to serve a purpose on the Xbox 360. Unfortunately the game quickly suffers from issues of repetition.- Total Video Games

Like a number of Star Wars titles in the past, Lethal Alliance tries to introduce a new facet to the already rich sci-fi mythology, but ultimately fails in its execution. Instead, the gameplay quickly boils down to a repetitive experience, with bland environments playing host to a seemingly endless number of bland shoot out.- Total Video Games

Easily the worst shooter we've seen so far this year and quite possibly the whole of last year as well, we can't see fans of either the film, comic, or third-person shooters enjoying Weapons of Fate.- Total Video Games

While the original Force Unleashed managed to surprise us with something that was more stimulating then the tech demo we feared and nicely introduced a new plotline, the sequel fails at virtually everything it attempts. The plot feels like a cheap way to extend the series and never delivers any twists, while the game itself is mediocre at the very best of times. A hugely disappointing experience that even the most ardent Star Wars fan will have a tough time enjoying.- Total Video Games

Not only have they taken the 40 year legacy of James Bond way off track, but they have also taken the classic GoldenEye reputation and created a game that the fans were dreading. Not a classic ' not even an average game, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is just about insulting to everyone in the target demographic.- Total Video Games

Whilst not the worst film tie-in, Fantastic 4 still feels heavily watered down and certainly comes across as a weaker version of "X-Men Legends."- Total Video Games

A relatively short gaming experience, ObsCure II is nonetheless an enjoyable sequel to one of 2004's lesser known sleeper hits. Perhaps it pays a bit too much homage to the teen horror movies at times, but it does offer a surprisingly solid experience...while it lasts.- Total Video Games

This game has more than enough to entertain fans of RPG and action games and is sure to convert any gamers who normally don’t play this kind of game. It is just a pity that the RTS side of the game took so long to actually start working.- Total Video Games

ProStroke Golf continues to offer an alternative to EA's gargantuan golfing franchise, even on the PSP, though the decision to drop the first-person perspective when lining up a shot, and the PSP's single-nipple disability, does bring the gameplay gap between the two a tad closer.- Total Video Games
