Swarm links together superb gameplay design, a deep but accessible control suite, and an original premise with such well measured pace and verve that it would send its own brilliantly engineered score multiplier off the charts. It's yet another example of why the most innovative and refreshing games of our time sit on the digi-download platforms. Content is a slight issue for the asking price but, then again, you'll enjoy every second of what's on offer.- Total Video Games

The implementation of the city coupled with the numerous improvements to the game flow and customization, makes The Sims experience much more rewarding and enjoyable than its predecessors. Undeniably the best Sims yet, the extension beyond the home is wonderfully natural and helps to focus on the bigger things than getting caught up in the basics.- Total Video Games

It's not that great to look at, but you will be gripped for a long time, this has to be the best platformer on the PlayStation to date.- Total Video Games

Sadly there's very little to sustain your interest beyond the Campaign mode, so if you're looking for something beyond a frantic blast from the past you may want to look elsewhere.- Total Video Games

It's the first new IP for Nintendo's Wii that caters expertly for the console's forgotten core audience, sating the bloodlusts of those loyal fans that made Resident Evil 4 such a huge hit on the Gamecube.- Total Video Games

While Criterion appears to rest on its laurels throughout much of the 'Racer' side of Hot Pursuit's gameplay, effectively producing a quite bland recreation of Burnout in the process, ultimately it's the 'Cop' side of the action that saves the day. From that perspective, Hot Pursuit proves itself worthy of the name with some of the best cop chase gaming of recent times.- Total Video Games

Despite the fact Operation Flashpoint is over four years old it still remains fresh to this day. The game packs depth, authenticity and immersion in place of traditional gaming elements such as fun, leaving a simulation of war that's deliberately different to others out there.- Total Video Games

Offers, in terms of management and tactical depth, an intuitive feel without guiding the player but some could easily say it is devoid of being really inspiring, although we would give this our thumbs up for being straight to the point, unpretentious and offering what it promises - a strat game with substance!- Total Video Games

The multitude of additional features on the Xbox 360 compared to the PS2/Wii make it by far the stronger game. The PS2 and Wii games really do feel a little tired in comparison, although the addition of a very natural feeling control system on the Wii helps to improve its appeal.- Total Video Games

The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world as far as boxing sims are concerned and arguably the most visually stunning sports game on the market. While a distinct lack of content in the single-player game and some fairly repetitive boxer AI does tarnish an otherwise faultless offering, it's still a must have for boxing fans and well worth a punt for anyone else with a passing interest.- Total Video Games

Fans of the original Pursuit Force game shouldn't hesitate for a second in purchasing what is essentially a textbook example of a substantial sequel. Newcomers to Pursuit Force should also strongly consider getting hold of this game, which complements the PSP so perfectly.- Total Video Games

Fans of the original won't find much more here to interest them, but hopefully, like with me, it'll relight the flame and at least spark up their interest in the game itself once again.- Total Video Games

A peculiar game, a very specialist title more like a true flight-sim then the arcade games we’re used to on consoles, yet the controls have been thought about to ensure its accessibility.- Total Video Games

Visually, it's impressive for the PSP. The cars are the highlight of these nice visuals with smooth models and, while the textures of the tracks/backgrounds look slightly jagged in a typically PSP manner, they're still nice looking for the system's capabilities.- Total Video Games

A game that should just ages (excuse the pun.) At its core the game is a standard RTS title, but Mad Doc has added so many unique features to it that EE2 certainly stands out amongst the crowd.- Total Video Games

Chocked full of insane action and plenty of creative opportunities, and knows that ultimately it's all about having fun. It's a brash, no-brainer experience that gives everything you want from a sandbox game, but lets make sure the combat ramps up a notch in the next title.- Total Video Games

The full frontal presentation is the overriding factor for GBE and if you feel that too much emphasis is being placed on its importance and that of its quality and the inordinate amount of audio that is packed into it, which is superb, then you would be wrong.- Total Video Games

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam is not DLC in the current-gen sense of the word. Instead, it's more like an expansion pack from the days of early-'Noughties' PC gaming; a whole new tack on the full game experience rather than a set of maps that only serve to intermittently prolong a game's appeal. For these reasons alone, it's worth the asking price.- Total Video Games

It may seem like a small thing but bringing an over-arcing storyline really knits the action together quite nicely, although it would have been even better if there were more than just the seven missions.- Total Video Games
