To only play the game on your own would be dull, and at best somewhat tiresome. Playing with another person comes recommended; it's much more fun.- Thunderbolt

Global Offensive is pure Counter-Strike. Hidden Path have made an inoffensive compromise between the best parts of the old versions. Whether it'll be the definitive thing is yet to be seen. However, it's an all-around decent FPS and is likely the most necessary one on PSN.- Thunderbolt

To say the Katamari series is becoming stale is something of an overstatement, it’s still as enjoyable as ever but if the next instalment (if there is one) doesn’t take the series in a new direction both on and offline, then this cult series in great danger of killing itself off by the lack of the one thing it brought a bundle of, originality.- Thunderbolt

It is all so persistently delightful to experience, so charmingly quirky that Botanicula has the power to melt away any frustrations resulting from the occasionally poor section of gameplay.- Thunderbolt

It’s still worth playing, just don’t expect a product with the same quality as either Broken Steel or Point Lookout.- Thunderbolt

It may be in competition with its predecessor but the disappointing world of Transformers video games has a new top dog. Perhaps not the crowning achievement but a steady improvement that will hopefully continue with any future instalments.- Thunderbolt

What clearly makes this package stand out is the presentation: easily negotiable menus via touch-screen, a multitude of options to tinker with, perfectly emulated conversions of Namco’s retro classics, support for DS Download and Play, and everything moving along at lightning speed with nary a hint of loading time.- Thunderbolt

It's a bog-standard shooter with some cool graphics. Honestly, Alpha Prime feels like the product of a first-person-shooter checklist. It hits all the marks that, if missed, would bring a game's score down. Multiple enemy types? Check. Narrative? Check. Slow-motion? Check. Good graphics? Double check. Aside from the embarrassing acting.- Thunderbolt

Despite being an oh-so-easy-to-dislike game of movie, King Kong is a strong effort, and although it never reaches the pinnacle of the sub-genre alongside the likes of the legendary Goldeneye or The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, it can proudly sit on the next tier beneath them.- Thunderbolt

Metal Gear Online has a lot of potential for an online-only game, but it just seems incomplete at the moment in regards to content.- Thunderbolt

An enjoyable, lengthy twin-stick shooting affair. Restricting the player to platforms creates a unique dynamic in the genre and adds a fresh element of bullet hell.- Thunderbolt

And while it might not have the longevity of some of their other titles, it's certainly a step above PopCap's recently released Bookworm Adventures 2.- Thunderbolt

KumaWar doesn’t succeed at being a great game, but the fact that the levels are based on such recent events is a compelling reason to at least try out the game.- Thunderbolt

There hasn’t been a game since Mister Mosquito that has played with the idea of an insect-sized protagonist and pulled it off so well.- Thunderbolt

Generally speaking, Back to the Future: The Game is still worth some attention for fans of the movies. Its appropriate choices in art and audio, along with its 200% dedication to the films, will definitely keep Future fanatics off the manure. However, when it comes to the gameplay, my advice would be to try and not take it too seriously.- Thunderbolt

In many ways, it's a success in showing how comedy can be used to make once-exciting game genres interesting again, but fails to come full circle as a finished product.- Thunderbolt

Could Super Princess Peach have been a better game? Yes, it most certainly could have. But is this still a fun game that you should give a shot? Definitely.- Thunderbolt

The biggest issue I have with Extraction Point is that it doesn’t really end. You get to the final cutscene and...nothing. There’s no delivery. There’s no wrap-up. Something happens, and then basically you’re told to wait for FEAR 2 to find out what’s next.- Thunderbolt

Mini Ninjas is an extremely charming action/adventure game that should appeal to gamers of all ages and styles. The simple infectious antics of these ninja will appeal to the younger player, while the wide variety of ways to approach combat and stealth should entertain the more seasoned player.- Thunderbolt

That joy can turn to frustration later on in the game when your powers lose some of their excitement from the relentless amount of obstacles thrown your way, but there’s enough variety in the missions beforehand to keep you interested till the very end. It’s just a shame there wasn’t a bigger focus on the direction of the game and the graphics engine, otherwise this could have been a real gem.- Thunderbolt

The feeling is that Blood Dragon is a straight-to-VHS sequel that occasionally manages to top its blockbuster equivalent due in large part to a sharp wit and an enthusiastic execution on a popular nostalgia.- Thunderbolt

The major characters are all here and in full action, giving a decent variety of fighters to choose from. However, the bland, uninspired combat system leaves something to be wished, no matter how many Rave and Shadow Stones materialize onscreen.- Thunderbolt

Sadly, this is another case of a game falling victim to the tie-in; cutting corners to meet a short deadline. If it were possible for more time to be spent fine-tuning everything this would be a much better game.- Thunderbolt
