We felt a film of grime developing on us as we played. NORCO’s world is decaying and warping, but we couldn’t help but sift through it, looking for the next hideous artefact in the sludge. This is a hypnotising point-and-click adventure, full of unforgettable characters, moments and puzzles- TheXboxHub

Bravery & Greed is an example of a fusion of genres done well. The graphics may put some people off, but I urge those folk to give the gameplay a try - the loop of fighting and exploring is pretty compelling.- TheXboxHub

Primal Light is a retro-styled platformer that should only really be considered by serious masochists. You may like a challenge, but this can often feel like a step too far.- TheXboxHub

Sure, Warp Drive hits the barrier a few times, mainly in the way it executes on its ambitious ideas, but we can’t help imagining a sequel that overtakes everything here. Warp Drive is a strong first entry on the highscore table. We hope it sells enough so that its developers have a shot at a sequel to beat it.- TheXboxHub

The world of The Knight Witch is vibrant and well-crafted - if you’re open to a challenge, then it’s worth looking past the few shortcomings.- TheXboxHub

Yuppie Psycho is well made, nicely themed, and creates a neat and twisted interpretation of office life. Despite that, the core of the story feels somewhat shallow, and the shocks are unsettling rather than thought-provoking.- TheXboxHub

‘Super’ Rebellion, in hindsight, feels like an exaggeration. Mediocre Rebellion’s more appropriate, but that probably wouldn’t sell as many units.- TheXboxHub

Ignore the simplistic art, forget that Intrepid Izzy was originally developed for the SEGA Dreamcast, and you’ll be treated to the best Shantae game without Shantae in the title.- TheXboxHub

Fans of Lemmings and its sadistic pleasures will get a lot from Flying Soldiers, albeit nothing approaching a challenge. Acknowledge that it will all be over in a few hours, though, and you can be reassured that you’re in safe hands.- TheXboxHub

Mechapunk doesn’t feel like a game so much as a performance art piece – one that proves that capitalism is as two-dimensional as the things we aspire to enjoy, maybe? There’s plenty of space to conjure up a metaphor that excuses this mess – “what room!” indeed.- TheXboxHub

Just Dance 2023 is another colourful slice of dance wrapped up in stunning visuals and catchy tunes - perfect for warming yourself up on a cold night, chilling out with friends or heating up the party. For us, it’s got the best playlist for a good few years too.- TheXboxHub

If you're a fan of point-and-click adventures then Saint Kotar might well fulfil your needs. A dark tale full of horror and religious mythology, it’s very much a grown-up game, one that might be too much for some.- TheXboxHub

There is not a dull moment to be found in Evil West’s ten to twelve hour playtime. The storyline has the potential to ensure this could well turn into a massive franchise, and there’s just hope that any sequel may place more focus on cooperative play.- TheXboxHub

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition offers a fairly pricey way to boost your character roster. Some will love it, but it may well be lost on others. Still, the base game is brilliant.- TheXboxHub

Live by the Sword: Tactics skirts too close to doing that bare minimum. It spends its resources in all the wrong places, focusing on game modes rather than developing the board pieces, abilities and game mechanics that would have made it sing.- TheXboxHub

Sword of the Vagrant is a passably interesting ARPG, with a good aesthetic appeal, and some noisy action set pieces. There is a surprising amount of depth in the skills and weapons area, and the combat is pretty good as well.- TheXboxHub

Twin-stick shooters and roguelike hybrids aren’t new, and they have been done better elsewhere. But that’s not to say you should ignore Doomed to Hell. It may be simple and concise, but it’s a syringe of adrenaline to the heart, and it managed to perk us up for an evening.- TheXboxHub

If you enjoyed the base game of Inertial Drift, then more content is always welcome. And if you never played it the first time around, the addition of the Twilight Rivals content means it is a good time to jump in, if only as it is capable of providing a fun diversion to the norm.- TheXboxHub

My Fantastic Ranch is a sturdy, basic management sim that acts as a gateway to the genre. It also manages to satisfy a fantasy that a lot of younger players might have: to own and ride twenty-odd dragons and unicorns.- TheXboxHub

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Ultimate Edition is a lot of fun, and the new content certainly adds to the base game. The story is compelling, and the action in the levels is pretty non stop, forcing you to play tactically if you want to survive; taking cover and blowing up items in the environment will see you right.- TheXboxHub

Goat Simulator 3 isn’t perfect, feeling rough and ready as you play. But this is what Goat Simulator has always been. With my cynical head on, it does feel a bit artificial this time, like the team of developers have tried to introduce bugs and glitches.- TheXboxHub

Somerville is an important addition to our gaming diet. It’s not worried about pushing boundaries in terms of narrative structure or story, and never wants to guide the player too much, letting them find their own journey through a brilliant linear adventure.- TheXboxHub

Super Chicken Jumper is a distinctly average option for fans of the genre; a game that doesn’t do much wrong, but also isn’t about to impress. There’s a binary choice here as to whether this is a game you need in your library.- TheXboxHub
