Super Woden GP II is a good racer that harks back to the glory days of arcade racing. The challenge in the later stages is intense, while the chasing of credits and stars to get new events is agreeable in and of itself.

SteamWorld Heist II comes together to bring a lot of fun. You’ll enjoy getting to know all the characters and locations that have been added into the game, whilst the actual combat is tough, but well balanced.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a game that has something for everyone. Some may love the story, others perhaps the combat. A few people may just want to explore the world and put the difficulty on easy. Each element of the game is done well enough to create an all round very good game.

For players who are looking for a game that is simple to pick up and play, with easy combat then we would certainly recommend Creatures of Ava. However, if you prefer your action adventure games to be heavier on the action with a larger area to explore then you may want to look for another planet to play on.

Dedicate time to mastering the abilities of your favourite Agents, learn the callouts for each map, and get your aim down to a T, and Valorant may quickly become your next major gaming addiction.

Retaliate replaces mindless bullet spraying with a more considered approach of ammo absorption, and it works rather well. There’s certainly no harm in adding it to your list of potential purchases in the shoot ‘em up category.

For the new ideas, I’ve been left slightly disappointed with Ancient Phantasma. The control system is a throwback to the bad old days, and the sheer amount of random encounters fast starts to grate. Other than these complaints, it is very much business as usual, but sadly even the new features won’t be enough to keep you playing long term.

Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero gets the balance just right in terms of difficulty, something that previous games struggled with. It also brings the melee attacks back, but it would have been nice to have had a choice when playing solo.

Better late than never, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1’s arrival on Xbox is well overdue. But it is also most welcome. The first game lays some great foundations for subsequent chapters and we can hope that they don’t take as long to arrive on Xbox.

Deadlink is a well-polished, extensive FPS/roguelike experience that I can see being an absolute time-sink for many players.

Exhausted Man is a real hodge-podge of mixed ideas that don’t always work together - the contradicting gameplay elements, the fact that any ‘rewards’ are in fact detrimental, and that within the first hour of gameplay you’ve seen all this one has to offer.

There is no denying that Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends is what would be considered a cosy game. Its cutesy graphics and relaxing gameplay are definitely there, but the social aspect and even the customisation of the cooking is lacking. Everything is just a bit too passive really.

Although there still needs to be a proper tutorial present in order to entice the most bike-shy of gamers, if you are a fan of MotoGP, or are interested in the sport, then MotoGP 24 is the best way to get involved virtually.

Tchia is a game with longevity as finding every collectible, completing every mini-game and killing every bad guy can still be accomplished on completion of the main storyline. Complete with a beautiful location inspired by Caledonian culture, there should be no reason to not follow Tchia’s journey.

PuzzMiX is a bit of a mixed bag that might only serve the ardent Luminous Avenger iX fan. The Suika puzzling and merging excitement is a novelty that soon wears off, with leaderboards adding a minimal amount of longevity.

You may end up frustrated with Aerial_Knight’s We Never Yield, because while it is enjoyable in parts, problems make it feel like a huge step backwards. That is a real shame.

While Lesson Learned: Cult of the Elizabeth might look like an intriguing tower defense, a taste of the gameplay is enough to cast doubt on advancing to the full game. There’s no harm in giving this freebie a go, but in the hour it’ll take to finish, you’ll probably have had enough.

A delightful game that will keep you busy for no more than an evening, Hidden Cats In Rome will sink its claws into you from the get-go, whacking you silly with some seriously addictive hidden object hunting. With the addition of a new-to-the-franchise game mode, this is probably the best in the series so far.

Consider Flock like the finest of fine wines: enjoyed best with a group of friends having a chat, taken at your own pace, not rushed through! Minor bug-bears aside, especially with the inconsistent catching mini-game, what has been produced here is in the upper-echelon of cosy games.

Aimlabs is a very difficult game to score, mainly because it’s not really a ‘game’ and nothing else like it exists on the Xbox. If you want to get better at shooting, the exercises will help, as will the ping of achievements, something that Aimlabs is quite generous with. But this is far from something that you will fire up just for the heck of it.

Dungeons of Hinterberg is proof that a mash-ups of genres can work. The concept and setup are brilliantly creative, whilst highlights sit in respect of the sim side of the game and trying to build up relationships around the town. It looks beautiful too.

The idea of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! was always a risky prospect and unfortunately it hasn’t really paid off. It’s all well and good showcasing the characters in their glorious anime visuals, with notable locations recreated as boards, but there needs to be more substance.

Magical Delicacy has some tasty elements - the game looks gorgeous and revealing more of the map as you discover new, previously unreachable locations is exciting. However, there are quite a few annoying aspects we just can’t ignore.
