Veteran players of this series will feel let down by this latest installment, and this is all down to the bare bones approach that the developers have taken by releasing this game with only 12 cars and 10 race tracks.

DeadCore most definitely has the marmite effect. You will either love or hate speedrunning games and that will probably decide whether you like this or not.

Newbie’s Adventure is oddly addictive. Even just roaming around the vast worlds as a cardboard box, taking out groups of Wild Cards with the slam ability and in general just chilling out is hugely enjoyable.

The game has solid combat, interesting character creations, and the potential to grow into so much more. The only thing that inhibits it from gaining a higher rating is the fact that it is so barren.

Dungeon Defenders II is free and when it works it’s pretty darn fun, but the UI, the steep difficulty curve and the online problems make it tough to recommend as the experience is really hindered.

Ultimately, Runbow is a strong platformer that leaves you with a general sense of enjoyment whilst playing. The slow burning start of its adventures turns into an experience that should be enjoyed by everybody.

Whilst there isn’t really much to the gameplay aspect of Infinite Minigolf, it must be said that the simplicity throughout only helps to make the game even more addictive.

There really isn’t much to dislike about the wonderful world of Aven Prime, so if you are in need of a new city sim, then there will quite possibly be nothing better than heading to Aven Colony for a brand new space travelling adventure.

It’s worth remembering that Marvel Heroes Omega is free and if you love Marvel then I have to say you should give it a try. Once you buy into the grind and ignore the issues, it’s pretty fun to have a little go on here and there.

This game is great for those younger players, but adults may find it a little too samey, a little too quickly.

Episode one of Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two is worth grabbing, especially if you enjoyed the first season. It’s more of the same, but with improvements.

How will Moon Hunters be remembered? As a game that tries new tricks, but fails to ever really pull them off.

Some people might be critical of the length of the game, but for me it’s like watching a brilliant movie, with outstanding writing, great acting and a superbly inventive design.

Iron Crypticle is a decent game that is well worth a shot, especially when you take into account the price asked of it, and the amount of replayability that is included.

If you’re wanting to head back to your childhood days, or long for a time when games were simpler and the summers seemed to last longer, then you won’t go far wrong with Poi.

Serial Cleaner is a very good stealth game. It controls well, the levels are well thought out and a real challenge, and the level of difficulty is just short of pad biting.

Broken Age is a good game, just one which is let down by a few absurdly tough puzzles and a lack of freshness for the second Act of the story.

It’s another short one overall at around two hours, but it is clear that lessons have been learnt from the laborious Episode Gladiolus, with far more variation and a character that has a backstory worth telling.

Both experienced players and newcomers to the genre will still get some fun and enjoyment out of Grim Legends 2, but be aware that this isn’t the greatest Artifex Mundi title on offer.

The Golf Club 2 has been created for the golfer found in all of us. It is with that in which you’ll find a game that may initially seem as hard as nails, but with practice, and as your golfing skills improve, will allow you to see the full fruits of your labour.

The return of Morrowind will certainly be hitting the right notes with many fans of the series, but it also adds to a growing list of reasons as to why The Elder Scrolls series is better as a solo experience.

This is an old skool game, with all the spikes in difficulty that it entails. As Mad Gear Games themselves say, there is no Easy Mode. If you want to beat the game you have to do it the old fashioned way, with persistence and sheer bloody mindedness.

You’ll think I’m mad, but Constructor does start off as a rather enjoyable experience; plodding away, building little communities, experimenting with the Undesirables. It could be a great game, but then it swiftly all goes downhill.

Whilst SpeedRunners may be a long way from any action-packed blockbuster, there is certainly enough included to warrant dusting it off every once in a while for some multiplayer madness.
