A roguelite deckbuilder has finally arrived to properly revamp the gameplay that Slay the Spire seemed to have carved in stone. The management of our warrior's movement adds a lot of tactics to the fighting, and the non-draw deck abilities almost completely eliminate the luck factor by requiring extensive planning of one's moves, especially when trying to chain combos to eliminate multiple foes at once. The progression is the same as usual, alternating between battles and refreshment shops, but many other new features have been introduced.

On PS5, The Nioh Collection offers the refined gameplay that allowed Nioh 1 & 2 to distinguish themselves within the soulslike genre, but with the added perks of 4K resolution, 120 fps and quick loading times. The DualSense’s haptic feedback also reacts to some of our inputs, but the feeling is that more could have been done. Nevertheless, the Nioh Collection is an excellent package for anyone who wants to experience Team Ninja’s take on the genre.

Forza Horizon 3 is a a great driving experience, probably the best in years. The Australian landscape is full of things to discover, and it's so sweet to get lost in such a charming setting. Buy it without any doubt, even if you're a PC gamer.

Sports Interactive aims to bring Football Manager 2023 to all home consoles and brings a little change to the new chapter. Despite everything, FM23 is an excellent, precise and satisfying game, with the European licenses finally returning.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses succeeds in bringing a breath of fresh air into a saga that is perhaps too anchored to its own style, it does so by renewing the experience without losing sight of the deep strategic soul that has always been the trademark of Intelligent Systems’ works. The pace of the game may seem a bit diluted to the most fundamentalist fans, but the overall result is, in our opinion, absolutely convincing and worthy.

Shadow of the Erdtree might have some flaws – reusing certain enemies, inconsistent boss balance, patchwork world design – but even so, it’s still Elden Ring at its core and it’s still leagues ahead of most other high-profile open world games. Definitely a worthwhile addition, and for a fair price, for any fan of the base game. Just make sure you look up how to get to Mohg first.

Marvel's Spider Man 2 is a true blockbuster, a chapter that cannot be postponed for those who have experienced the previous adventures of Peter and Miles, as well as one of the most important gaming events of the year. It plays a little too safe in several areas, but overall it remains an exciting title and a highly recommended adventure for all fans of Spider-Man and superhero comics in general.

As beautiful to play as the first Horizon Zero Dawn, as beautiful to look at as the latest Horizon Forbidden West. This is how you can sum up this Remastered, which keeps the gameplay of the original intact while increasing the graphic rendering thanks to the greater hardware resources available. In particular, Aloy and the other characters are now much more expressive and move in a world in which nature is lush and the anthropic structures stand out solemnly among volumetric effects with a realistic day/night cycle. Those who have recently played the original may not want to spend another forty hours on the Remastered, for newcomers it is one of the best ARPGs around.

Thanks to a magical level design and a gameplay that comes out strengthened by the tweaks and the Doom skill, SEGA and Sonic, with the precious contribution of Shadow, remind us that the timeless adventures of the blue hedgehog are special.

As Xbox One and PS4 players already knows, Monster Hunter World Iceborne is an almost perfect expansion, with numerous new monster and new gameplay features, confirming the care of Capcom for its creature. There’s only a few technical problems with the PC version: lot percentage of CPU usage and some lost savegames, but not in our experience.

Three of the best Castlevania games in one unmissable package, jam-packed with extras and a bonus game that isn't exactly the best but... it's a bonus so we gladly keep it. Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia, each of these games brought unique features to classic Castlevania gameplay and they are all still extremely enjoyable today.

AvantGarden Games has done a simple and effective job of bringing back an intense video game. Strengthened by a beautiful story, born from the pen of Joses Fares, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a work of art that explores the most intimate human sides, enhancing the bond that binds one brother to another. Its greatness lies precisely in its simplicity. An excellent remake of an incredible video game.

Pikmin 4 keeps the solid gameplay foundations of the chapters that preceded it intact, however adding to the original formula a series of (small) innovations capable of making the game even more fun and satisfying. A strategic management suitable for all tastes, from those who like to take things lightly just for fun to those who prefer to go deeper and test themselves by completing the missions in the most complete and efficient way possible.

A metroidvania that starts by leaning on overused stylistic cues, but gradually takes off into its own and fairly strong identity thanks to an excellent narrative, a great combat system, good customization options, and a well-balanced platform/adventure/action mix.

The first Mario RPG is still damn fun. Even almost 30 years after its original release, it offers a fun, fresh adventure full of many little surprises. A difficulty level that is not particularly high allows it to be playable even by an audience not particularly accustomed to the genre, but veterans may find it a little too forgiving.

Giving a score to a game like Destiny 2 is a difficult task: on one hand, the new game from Bungie offers a variety of content so huge, it literally makes your head spin; on the other hand, here and there something is missing, and it often seems like something you'll find in a future expansion or DLC. Anyway, a truly amazing game.
