Cute visually, but lacking the gameplay depth of its predecessor, Space Crew is a slow grind that offers glimpses at what could've been. A decent follow up to Bomber Crew, Runner Duck's latest game aims for the stars but just gets out of the atmosphere.- The Digital Fix

With an enchanting art style Crown Trick is a delight to play, yet is challenging and frustrating before you master its combat system.- The Digital Fix

Cake Bash is a fun party game with a lot of potential, but with relatively few bash modes and minigames, it can feel repetitive after a while. The limited progression and fast unlockables also mean that when your completion hits 100%, you may see little reason to continue playing. However, with the freedom to play against bots, local friends or online, if looking for a cute, quick and easy party game to jump into, Cake Bash may fit the bill.- The Digital Fix

Other than a couple of slight and somewhat comical irritations, Partisans 1941 is a fun, methodical real-time tactics game.- The Digital Fix

Team17 have done it again with another endearingly designed, vastly comprehensive fun experience. The Survivalists is one of the best crafting games that I have played and one of my favourite games of the year.- The Digital Fix

The Nintendo Switch is home to many great indie titles that have flourished and found their natural home on the console; Filament is one of these titles. A slow-burn, Filament will test your patience with its complex puzzles and steep difficulty spike later on, but ultimately is one of the best experiences I've had on the Switch.- The Digital Fix

While Star Wars: Squadrons cannot touch the depth or importance of X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, this is easily the best Star Wars space sim since that game-changing classic, and the best Star Wars game of the Disney era.- The Digital Fix

Game Dev Tycoon has a wide appeal to different audiences. As well as being a great introduction to management sims, there's enough to keep long time fans interested as well. It's fun, sometimes silly in the best kind of way, and hard to put down once you get started.- The Digital Fix

Bringing together all the classic ideas with some truly essential new ones, in many ways It’s About Time is the ultimate Crash Bandicoot sequel.- The Digital Fix

I initially loved the survival and building aspects of The Walking Dead Onslaught. Unfortunately it wore thin quite quick. I would have liked more depth and more variety but what we have is fun, immersive, zombie bashing good time. I just recommend playing in short bursts otherwise it will get repetitive very quickly.- The Digital Fix

Going Under is a brilliant first release from Aggro Crab Games, combining challenging gameplay, rewarding combat and a wealth of possibilities in terms of both the dungeons and the enemies. Though let down by a myriad of performance issues and bugs, fixes are promised in upcoming patches, as is a variety of post-launch content. For £15.99, you can't go wrong.- The Digital Fix

Ori and the Will of the Wisps drastically improves upon its predecessor, with stellar gameplay, visuals and music. A true testament to what the Switch is capable of, this stunning sequel is not to be missed.- The Digital Fix

Kirby Fighters 2’s repetitive single-player gameplay and online issues make it hard to recommend. You might like it if you’re a die-hard Kirby fan but it’s lacking in quite a few ways.- The Digital Fix

Tell Me Why pushes the boundaries of video-game storytelling with its mature, open-minded approach to its themes and its pioneering representation. The inclusion of a trans lead character is vital but the story is a lot deeper than what's on the surface.- The Digital Fix

What Supergiant Games have created here is the perfect roguelike; immensely satisfying, even in failure, with an excellently-written array of characters and a compelling story. With variety of events to avoid the gameplay every becoming stale, a myriad of different weapons with markedly varied play styles, and gameplay-altering boons, Hades is an absolute joy to play. Oh, and everyone is hot, EVERYONE.- The Digital Fix

Budget Cuts looks great, plays amazingly, is well designed and a lot of fun. Barring too much time spent in load screens, I loved every second of it. It gives you the various tools you need to succeed but leaves you free to explore and work your way through the game how you wish. If you have a PSVR headset then give it a go, its a brilliant game.- The Digital Fix

I enjoyed playing Worm Jazz, but it's not a game I'm eager to return to. It has some fun levels but it's lacking in variety. If you want a fun, laid-back puzzle game it's not bad at all but, unlike some worms, I wasn't hooked.- The Digital Fix
