The PlayStation 4 gets to bow out of this console generation in suitably epic fashion with this incredible title. Ghost of Tsushima sets a new standard in open-world action games with one of the best games of this generation or any other, for that matter.- The Digital Fix

Quarantine Circular is another brilliantly written game that will have you taking up different mind sets to get through it. It is at times charming, upsetting and inspiring and will have you playing it through to it's conclusion in one sitting without you realising.- The Digital Fix

The Nintendo Switch is home to many great indie titles that have flourished and found their natural home on the console; Filament is one of these titles. A slow-burn, Filament will test your patience with its complex puzzles and steep difficulty spike later on, but ultimately is one of the best experiences I've had on the Switch.- The Digital Fix

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is, frankly, a better version of an already tremendous game. The fact that console players can finally immerse themselves in this fantasy world is a wonderful thing, the fact that it has been done with so few issues puts that achievement on a completely different level.- The Digital Fix

You’ll not want it to end, just like you didn’t want your very favourite RPGs of years’ past to end either. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will sit in that list now. There isn’t any higher praise.- The Digital Fix

What you get out of Rocksmith 2014 depends heavily on how you treat it. It's important to realise that it is not a complete learning program but rather the ultimate practice tool and is best used to supplement other learning avenues, be they YouTube videos, books, or classes with a tutor.- The Digital Fix

A perfect sequel. Expanding on what worked last time, improving what did not work, adding ideas that were missing, and taking the story to places we have never seen before. As a fan of Little Nightmares, you could not ask for more.- The Digital Fix

Rayman Legends isn’t just an HD upgrade or a game to tide you over before mechs start punching each other or beanie-hatted superpowered hipsters run amok in Seattle. It may include extra levels and a few extra costumes (taken from other Ubisoft properties) but the real value here is its inherent charm, frantic fun and a free-spirited feeling that enlivens one of the quietest periods in the life of a new console.- The Digital Fix

This is the first time I have given a game 10/10. I said I never would give a game that score but I cannot find anything bad to say about Gris. Its near-perfect. Brilliant art style, beautiful music and brilliant gameplay. It all combines into a controllable watercolour of pure joy. Just go and play it now, I wish I could experience it again for the first time.- The Digital Fix

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a perfect expansion and worth every penny. The new content is substantial, but the sheer amount of improvements, extensions to existing ideas and game changing additions offered up alongside the new area and monsters makes it so easy to recommend. If you enjoyed Monster Hunter:World, you should buy Monster Hunter World: Iceborne today.- The Digital Fix

I cannot find a bad thing to say about Creature in the Well. The gameplay is fun and unique, the trophy list is enjoyable and the presentation is amazing. I was obsessed while playing it and I did not want it to end. Unfortunately though, it did. Roll on the sequel, please can we have a sequel?- The Digital Fix

Arguably the culmination of Rockstar’s work so far, GTA V incorporates the best of their back catalogue; the car handling from Midnight Club: Los Angeles, the vast fauna-populated scrublands from Red Dead Redemption, and the gunplay and bullet time from Max Payne, folding them in to form an experience unparalleled in variety.- The Digital Fix

As I said before, I cannot recommend Shadowbringers more. The story, visuals, music, vocal performances, and gameplay all combine together to create a phenomenal gaming experience. Final Fantasy XIV has only gotten better over time, and after playing Shadowbringers I have simply no idea how they are going to better this expansion in the future. It really and truly is that good.- The Digital Fix

Audica is certainly unique, and provides a good change of pace alongside a more robust title like Beat Saber, but it isn't yet the industry innovator that it could be. It has a high skill floor and an even higher skill ceiling, but maintains the universal reward when you put the time in and improve. [Ear; Access Score = 70]- The Digital Fix

The combat and gunplay have also been quite challenging at times. The AI is some of the best I’ve experienced in the genre as enemies don’t always just run up to you in open space (though, they tend to do so at times) but also attempt to flank you while you’re trying to take down a sniper from afar. Movement and cover are key to staying alive. The “bullet sponge” effect does still seem to be prevalent with mini-bosses and bosses despite the new armor system which intended to make gunfights more strategic. I’m still holding hope for some more interesting boss battles later in the game.- The Digital Fix

All in all, the Off The Grid DLC has been fun and a great addition to what seems an ever-expanding game. It always seems to come offer on Steam as well, so if you are missing it from your collection, it is a must buy. With Two Point Studios always developing new content, I cant see this game ever slowing down.- The Digital Fix

Ultimately, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is an entertaining, albeit often simple, game full of sporting events that'll get friends and family set for some multiplayer fun. It's not as comprehensive as it perhaps could be in the way it allows players to set up their multiplayer sessions, but the variety and charm when it comes to the way everything is presented helps lift the whole package up.- The Digital Fix

Whilst there's lots here to keep fans of management and colony building games entertained, there's still a lot that needs to be worked on. The use of 'specialists' who explore the world map, feel like they need an overhaul so that this part of the game is more engaging, and the point of having them feels more important to the overall wellbeing of your colony. The fact it's in early management still is good, as hopefully these issues will be addressed, and the actual colony building side of the game provides a lot of fun. It can be hard to rate an early-access title because you have to understand that what you're playing isn't complete yet, regardless of how good or bad it is. However, in its current state, Valheim is already well worth picking up. The future is very bright for this game. [Early Access Provisional Score = 80]- The Digital Fix

There are lots of areas that aren't fully detailed and one would hope that Asobo Studios work on beefing up the introductory side of the game ahead of its release on the Xbox One. There are times where the novel-sized instruction manuals of the past really should still exist and this is one of them. Despite this the game is still welcoming and post training you'll have no trouble jumping into any of the game's aircraft and taking to the skies - knowing the basics is enough to have fun but the amount of depth means that there's always something new to discover. Our hope right now is that Asobo and Microsoft manage to improve performance for those of us on lesser rigs and that a patch is forthcoming to help boost the frame rate a little. I can appreciate the game at less than 20fps in low settings but I would love to be truly blown away by it.- The Digital Fix
