Nearly every aspect of Eragon is a disappointment, from its straight-outta-the-current-gen graphics to its poor in-game camera.

Tuning the numerous parts of your car provides for some decent variation, but you’ll soon figure out that the actual gameplay just isn't very good.

The fact is that it's just not much fun to play. The camera is a headache waiting to happen and the rest of the gameplay mechanics don't fare much better.

For the rest of the RPG fans, there are much better choices when it comes to playing a JRPG stateside; none of which involve importation.

Technically unsound, with many glitches; some of them major. Playable characters with individualized skill sets is a cool concept. Multiplayer is, well, WWII multiplayer.

Anemically lackluster gameplay and hideously sparse graphics do this game absolutely no service.

While the bike selections are lengthy, the customization is shoddy at best, and the gameplay will have players reminiscing of "Grand Theft Auto" a bit too much. When you can play "GTA" why play this?

Okay, there are some compelling strategies at the heart of Crystal Defenders, so it might draw you in for a while—in one of those “Why am I still playing this game?” moments—but it’s such a dull presentation that it ends up dragging down the whole gameplay concept.

The gameplay, graphics and audio all cast the stench of unfinished, rushed junk. It is sad that this was the only Xbox baseball game to get online play as I would really love to play quality baseball online.

We like that MXWT has higher priced features like custom soundtracks and a decent control set, but there just isn't a lot to do in this title.

Had it been released as a slimmed-down Xbox Live Arcade title, Bomberman Act: Zero would be a surefire hit, right up there with Zuma in terms of addictive, stage-based gameplay. But instead, Bomberman Act: Zero is a $49.99 standalone title that you simply shouldn’t buy.

Word Puzzle does a good job in presenting this kind of contest on the Xbox 360, but it also seems to be proof that perhaps not everything that can be done with pen and paper should make the leap to an electronic form; nor does the addition of arcade-like elements to a basic word game necessarily make it more compelling.

I played this game for several days and noticed that I was forcing myself to play it just so I could do the review. This is not a good sign for any game.

So, if you can get past its many flaws—or you just enjoy repeatedly having your ass handed to you—there’s quite a bit to do here for 800 Microsoft Points (about $10).

What you're getting in Torino is the ability to play through a small set of Olympic events that feel more like field day events at an elementary school. There's no weight or gravity given to the situation and thus the majesty and the intrigue of the Olympic Games is completely sucked out of this horrendously ill-advised videogame.

A game that will only appeal to a few people. These players will have to be dedicated to the task of figuring this thing out, like a grueling math problem or logic puzzle.

It feels like it was rushed. The game suffers in the graphics and presentation departments and the sound doesn't help its case either.

The strongest part of the game…and, that said, it’s not all that strong either, with the weak elements poisoning what should have been more fun.

I felt that the game was missing depth and dynamics that keep the player on their toes and interested. I was disappointed mainly with the audio and the limited maps and areas to play on.

It’s obvious that a lot of effort was put into certain elements of the game and its presentation. But no matter how nice the car looks on the outside, if the engine isn’t working you ain’t goin’ no place. Alone in the Dark is just that, a game going no place and with no reason in the world to suffer it.

It doesn’t seem like Playlogic dug in to finish the game, which left it to work (or not work) based on its gimmicks. Sadly, those gimmicks aren’t strong enough to maintain the game across its entirety.

The "is it so bad it's funny, or just that bad" vibe runs rampant throughout this title, from the ridiculous "fighting" engine, to horrendous visuals, and absolutely laughable dialogue.

The formula is a promising one, but unfortunately it hasn't been fully realized here. Instead of being as thrilling an experience as the real thing, X-Fighters World Tour is at best mediocre, and at worst a thoroughly boring, half-assed title.

A button mashing affair with not enough substance.

Neither the combat nor the driving are fun, and the camera is one of the worst this reviewer has ever seen.

While the developers obviously tried to make the most of switching from a phone keypad to a game controller, they still missed the mark. When it comes down to it, as the old saying goes, the name of the game is the game—and the game in Tony Hawk: Ride is far from what most people would call cutting-edge entertainment, especially when you look at the scope of what this console generation is releasing.

If you are a die-hard Tetris fan, then Tetris Worlds will probably be right up your alley. For the rest of you, use your Xbox for something with a bit more kick.

It had the potential, but anything that showed flair was quickly buried by more clumsy dialogue or stilted character movement.

Poor combat mechanics coupled with simplistic controls is where Fight Club begins to fall apart. While Shattered Universe does a fair job at capturing the unique feel of a Star Trek episode, it somehow manages to exhibit gameplay as simple and archaic as the series itself.

The joke of a campaign mode, horrid controls, laughable graphics, and decent soundtrack all mush together to make one hell of a beer coaster.

It's not that 25 to Life is bad, it's actually just awful. Terrible in fact. There is not a single aspect of the game, less the soundtrack and Xbox Live play, which should be copied by another game.

I love the Ghostbusters and was really looking forward to some fresh protoplasmic delights, but this one just didn't quite fit the slimy form.

The dictionary defines “infernal” as “hellish, fiendish, diabolical,” as it should be, but it also has a definition of “extremely troublesome, annoying.” Unfortunately, Infernal lives up to both of those definitions all too well.

Sneakers should have been caught in the development mouse trap.

Any game that has you fighting against a guy with an umbrella while wearing more makeup than Tammy Faye Baker should never have been made.

Only the undead could enjoy a game filled with numerous glitches and a sincere lack of creativity across the board. Avoid this title like a flesh-eating zombie, unless, of course, you just have to have all things Romero in your collection.

What we’re left with is a clever idea that was not executed to any satisfying end.

A weak plot, a subpar multiplayer and a relatively boring collection of games all add up make Bliss Island one place from which gamers will be eager to get rescued.

Poor graphics, crippled controls, and a multiplayer option that feels like it’s been tacked on like an afterthought on a Post-It all add up to make this game one blast from the past that really should have stayed where it came from.

Boring and slow moving populated by horribly done artificial intelligence. Players bet stupidly and play some of the worst hands available. Steer clear of this one.

A complete and total waste of your time from any and every perspective imaginable.

There’s no excuse for just how bad and unfinished The Golden Compass turned out to be. This is one experience that should have been left in the theatres.

By trying to craft an updated experience for a new generation of gamers, Tempest ends up losing a lot of the luster that originally made it such a hit. Toss in some wonky and unresponsive controls, as well as an additional high-speed mode that only the most hardcore of gamers would be willing to even try and attempt to play, and you end up with an experience that just doesn’t warrant even the budget price of 400 Microsoft Points (or about $5).

Fails on pretty much every gameplay level. The whole production, from beginning to end, has an unpolished feel that makes it quite hard to stomach.

It is apparent that Ubi Soft is taking the Rayman license for every dime it is worth and I am sorry to say that they came up really short this time.

It’s clear that there was a lot more programming manpower put into jiggly girl parts and gouts of blood than in the rest of the game design.

Even the most hardcore shooter fans should skip Quantum Theory. Even excusing the barren online community and confusing story this game has too many issues with core gameplay to make the experience worth the $70 investment.

Some might say that bashing this game is like beating up a paraplegic: just unfair. But I shudder to think that people will waste their money on this thinking they’re going to get a cute kids’ title that’s safe for the younguns to play. It’s not.

There's bad, and then there's Hot Wheels. Too many glitches make this game just one small step away from unplayable.

If someone, after reading this entire review still has an inkling of desire to purchase this title I suggest taking your head placing it on the frame of a door and having your pal slam the door repeatedly until any thought of Trigger Man has escaped. Simply put, this game is truly a new low for the gaming community.

A pathetic example of rushed development, and no one should be forced to witness the results. Sadly enough, Aquaman’s first shot at videogame stardom would have been more appropriate on another console five years ago.

The gameplay is repetitive, not at all fun, and more of a chore than a game.

On top of being a ludicrously bad representation of the sport, NBA Unrivaled looks absolutely awful.
