I enjoy playing it in short bursts. Short because if I try to play more than a few rounds I get increasingly annoyed by the bad hit detection and unresponsive controls.

If you’re looking for a game with a solid single player or twitchy action shooting then you’re in the wrong place. Chromehounds is at its core a multiplayer experience with an emphasis on teamwork and tactics.

While I feel that Prey is a better game than "Quake 4" and "Doom 3," Prey is a next-gen game, which is held to higher standards and it’s a letdown in a few categories, namely the pathetic multiplayer.

This title is easily the best RTS game seen on consoles. The control scheme allows anyone to jump into the game fairly quickly, although you cannot get as detailed with your strategies and forces.

While the game isn't ground breaking with any new technologies, the flexibility of the game play will keep you interested.

If you enjoyed those fierce ping pong competitions at summer camp then you owe it to yourself to give Table Tennis a try. Single player is quite challenging and multiplayer matches ought to be considered a spectator sport in itself.

The title’s strongest aspect is the way it captures the World Cup event. Like most other World Cup titles, there isn’t a whole lot of replay value here, but the time you spend playing this title will be enjoyable.

While FFXI is the most addicting game I’ve ever played, I will confess that it is an unfriendly place for newbs.

The gameplay is still fun and the graphics have been drastically improved. The only problem is that we’ve seen almost the exact same game on the original Xbox.

A pretty average game. You have fairly simple combat with a few nice graphical touches. Nothing really stands out as overtly good or bad, and everything here has pretty much been seen before in some form or fashion.

The storyline fits in to the movie well, and refrains from changing the plot in any way.

Its gameplay, graphics, and auditory value are all off the chain. In addition, its replayability will provide hundreds of hours of wholesome fun. My only personal complaint is this: due to the immense worlds, obscene amounts of terrain, and overall hugeness of this software, I found myself becoming nauseated and oftentimes lightheaded and dizzy. You’ve been warned.

The story is interesting to some degree and the main missions are intriguing, but the rest of the game is a let down.

Player models are impossibly detailed and each street has a gritty, lived in feel to it. Enemies ragdoll as one would expect a corpse to after being blasted with a three shot burst, and the explosions you just have to see for yourself.

This version is just as fun and exciting as before, but it isn’t an incredible leap forward.

You will love pumping round after round into your generic foes, and the visuals enhance the experience. While Black gets this aspect right, it just doesn't offer enough.

Shows marked improvement from its predecessor, but it still has a number of issues. The gameplay becomes repetitive after a short while, and there is no Xbox Live mode to be found.

Despite the less-impressive graphics, the game holds its own with its balanced fights, new punches, and replayability.

The controls are spotty, all the good stuff is hidden behind a byzantine unlock structure, and the graphics are a notch below par for the Xbox.

This title is incredibly fun in short bursts, but it’s hard to play for hours at a time.

Getting Up is incredibly easy. There are plenty of health power ups scattered throughout the game and I only died one time (due to a cheap move I didn't expect) during the final boss fight.

An absolutely incredible value. For just ten dollars you get sixty stages of marble rolling fun, plus a full Xbox Live multiplayer mode playable with up to eight players. The graphics are outstanding, the soundtrack is good. Everything controls exceedingly well, and the controls are solid.

Team NINJA has the Midas touch, and it looks as if Itagaki gave this one a one-hour massage before release. It has challenging, in-depth gameplay, the best visuals the console has yet to experience, and enough replay value to kill a Kasumi clone.

The presentation is superb on all fronts, and the gameplay is unique and intuitive. For ten bones, this is without question a must-have.

So short it hurts, especially in the wallet area. Had the game done something revolutionary I may not be so concerned with the length, but it doesn't. It's just the same old Gauntlet with a shiny new exterior.

Those who truly enjoy backgammon or want to try it for the first time may be interested in this game because of the low price (400 MS Points), but anyone else should use their MS Points elsewhere.

Plain visuals, repetitive audio, and straightforward gameplay make up this title’s feature list. Hearts fans will, of course, enjoy playing online, but most can be content with the Hearts game included with Windows XP, saving their 400 MS Points for something else.

There isn’t anything flashy about this title, but you have enough options at your disposal to vary the game. Given the low price tag (400 MS Points); this game will be a good pickup for Spades fans.

This would be a good purchase for anyone with a Live account if it wasn’t for one thing. Price. Bankshot Billiards is 1200 Microsoft Points. That translates into fifteen dollars, more than any other game on the Live Arcade. While Bankshot Billiards is good, it isn’t that good.
