At an attractive price point, the accessible nature of Pic-a-Pix Deluxe makes it the ideal title to show off to the older members of your family as a gateway to the Switch. Addictive puzzling for everyone else makes it a lovely package.- Switch Player

A high launch price and a lack of online multiplayer mar what is an otherwise enjoyable local multiplayer romp. If you have loads of friends locally then Stikbold - A Dodgeball Adventure is certain to bring laughs, at least until the next great local multiplayer game comes along.- Switch Player

With online still to come, there's a bit more that Hammerwatch has to offer in the future. But I just couldn't take enough charm or personality from the game to make it stand out, especially when that eShop to-play list just keeps on growing...- Switch Player

Rock 'n' Racing Grand Prix could've been an excellent sequel to my least favourite game of 2017, however it becomes an early contender for my least favourite game of 2018 by worsening the slightly redeeming features of its predecessor - I'd recommend avoiding this game.- Switch Player

The Escapists 2 puts you in the shoes of a prisoner and tasks you with grabbing the dangling carrot of freedom. If you are a fan of the previous game or a fan of resource management and strategising then this game will be right up your alley. With the ability to play with others, this can end up being riotous fun. However, as a newcomer to the series, I found the mechanics to the game a little overwhelming and unwelcoming - which unfortunately detracted from my enjoyment of the game.- Switch Player

Crawl is a fantastic experience whether you're playing on your own or with a group of friends. Boasting a wonderfully unique gameplay hook, I'd wager you'll be roaming this dungeon for weeks.- Switch Player

Sparkle Unleashed is a fun and addictive puzzle game with plenty of content to keep you playing for a good 6-8 hours. Its downside is that it reuses content to keep its longevity going which can be a bit disappointing.- Switch Player

The Coma: Recut comes recommended, but beware: while you do expect a bit of clunkiness in the controls for a horror title, as it adds to the effect, the unresponsiveness of the buttons at key moments where you need to either hide, dodge or dim your flashlight can make this a challenging experience at times.- Switch Player

Unepic has plenty to enjoy, whilst far from perfect and lacking in areas the game does enough right and is self-aware enough that this adventure is worth your time.- Switch Player

It’s not groundbreaking by any stretch of the imagination. Syberia 2 takes Syberia’s template and continues Kate Walker’s adventure. The puzzles swing from overly simplistic to ridiculously cryptic, with very little to give a sense of purpose. It’s also pricey, but if you’re invested in the story and absolutely must have it on the Switch then this is the right place.- Switch Player

Authentic pinball almost to a fault. Not the best video game version of pinball, but it is consistent at providing a realistic simulacrum of pinball. This won’t be for everyone, but you won’t find a purer digital pinball experience elsewhere.- Switch Player

Vostok Inc. takes the cookie clicker genre, often played with a fleeting attention span, and spins it into an experience that you can't put down. The amount of different spinning plates to consider when constructing your capitalist, galactic empire is a challenge that is only made more satisfying by the pleasing music, graphics and varying space combat. It's a great game.- Switch Player

Platforming fun for all the family, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is one of the Switch's better takes on the genre. Its storytelling feels like a Disney Pixar movie, so if your youngster has had a Switch for Christmas, it shouldn't take much to get them on board.- Switch Player

Mecho Tales is a beautiful game that takes homage from classic platform games such as Mega Man, sadly its dull gameplay doesn't quite match the effort put into the designs of the characters and worlds leaving a mediocre adventure in its wake.- Switch Player

Hiragana Pixel Party is a simple rhythm game that sets out to teach you how to read and pronounce Japanese characters. It could benefit from some more variety in gameplay, but if you fancy something that you can potentially benefit from, the challenge and the educational value could keep you engaged through its many missions.- Switch Player

Poi: Explorer Edition is a nice, budget 3D platformer that is perfect for younger Nintendo Switch owners. The challenges in the game can become rather repetitive, but if you are looking for a colourful platformer that is inoffensive and fun, then you can't go too wrong with Poi!- Switch Player

Let down only by slowdown, The Sexy Brutale is a load of fun. It's got that Scooby-Doo-like magic to it, that sense of achievement when you solve the puzzles and save the day. Atmosphere is good, music is good, as is innovation - without the slowdown, it would be perfect.- Switch Player

Yodanji manages to take Japanese Folklore monsters and turn them into a dull turn-based rogue-like. The random nature of the game completely undermines any interesting ideas and, unfortunately, the whole experience ends up falling a little flat as a result.- Switch Player

The Next Penelope provides a great mixture of Shmup and Racing gameplay which contains its fair share of challenges. It can often become overly challenging at times and this - coupled with a lack of control mapping - means a great game falls just shy of being essential.- Switch Player

Bleed is a good, solid platformer which offers a good chunk of replayability, and there's a lot of challenge on offer in the higher difficulties. It won't last you long though - its seven levels will take just over an hour.- Switch Player

If you're after a strong example of a 2D platformer with depth and challenge, you won't find it here. The Deer God may look pretty, but it's a pitiful experience that deserves no place on the Switch eShop.- Switch Player

Resident Evil Revelations 2 takes everything from the first game and improves upon it. Although I am torn between which location I prefer (Cruise Ship vs Island facility) I feel that this sequel has benefitted from being developed for consoles. The Revelations spinoff series has produced arguably two of the best Resident Evil games since Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube, and now we can finally experience them both together on a Nintendo console!- Switch Player

Romancing Saga 2 is a game very much trapped in the early 90s, while it’s great to see a title translated into English after all this time, it’s a shame that it’s one that offers very little fun or entertainment.- Switch Player

A lack of multiplayer at release detracts from how brilliant (and essential) Tiny Metal could have been, but it's the next best thing to Advance Wars that's currently available on the Nintendo Switch. Fans of that and/or turn-based strategy games will find something worthwhile here, despite that not so tiny price.- Switch Player

This isn’t authentic pinball, but it isn’t trying to be. Pinball FX3 embraces that it is video game pinball and is more enjoyable as a result. And isn’t pinball about getting high scores and having a good time anyway?- Switch Player

Blossom Tales takes much of it's rule book straight from A Link to the Past and manages to adapt relatively well. Whilst the game lacks some of the polish and charm of it's inspiration, it doesn't stop the game from being good in it's own right.- Switch Player

Despite the very pleasing sound and visuals, Slain is just too unforgiving to be as fun as it should be. I'm glad I've finished it, because those damned flying enemies swooping down on me are giving me nightmares.- Switch Player
