    Pic-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Pic-a-Pix are sometimes known by other names, such as Picross, Nonogram, Paint by Numbers, Griddlers, Hanjie and many more.

    Solve puzzles with a friend - or the whole family - with co-op play for up to 4 players using any combination of controllers! In handheld mode, immerse yourself with intuitive touchscreen controls.

    Pic-a-Pix Deluxe now includes classic black and white picross, as well as color puzzles, which use color-coded clues to add a new dimension to the game.

    There are 150 color and 150 classic puzzles, all designed by Conceptis Ltd and all brand new! Puzzles range in difficulty and size from introductory 5x5 pictures up to challenging 35x25 grids!

    Overall though, Pic-a-Pix Deluxe is a grand time. The puzzles are incredibly fair and it helps that the unique twists are actually really clever. The UI can sometimes be clumsy, but those problems disappear with familiarity. The sharp and crafty puzzles are appealing and worth the hurdle of the interface. It is really the biggest compliment I can give.

    At an attractive price point, the accessible nature of Pic-a-Pix Deluxe makes it the ideal title to show off to the older members of your family as a gateway to the Switch. Addictive puzzling for everyone else makes it a lovely package.

    A game that will without a doubt delight puzzle-lovers and all those that are interested in filling in little gaps of free time in their day-to-day life. The local cooperative mode and its 300 levels will provide hours of fun playing by yourself or surrounded by family, friends and even the little ones at home.

    Basic in both presentation and premise, Pic-A-Pix Deluxe serves up a dish of picross puzzling that will test your brain capacity but does little to innovate on a well-worn conundrum recipe. Still, with some Switch-specific features - including four-player multiplayer support - and plenty of nonograms to its name, Lightwood Games’ pixel puzzler is right at home on Nintendo’s new handheld home.

    It's a decent price for 300 puzzles, it's the usual picross format, no real complaints or anything new to say there. If you've done all the other picrosses in the world and want a new one, this is more picross.
    However, once I had played for a little while the game began to lock up, I had to keep exiting the puzzle and the program to get it to respond. Then on the 11th puzzle, 20x30, it's so strangely formatted that it's virtually impossible to read the numbers and it seems the boxes are so small that it won't show the X's in unused squares - though it does register that there is something there preventing you from then filling it in. There's a huge amount of empty space around the puzzle and no zoom option, so it's unbelievably wasteful and thoughtless. I was playing undocked, so I put the Switch back in the dock to see it on a proper TV and hilariously the layout is so bad that it's almost as unreadable there too. But lets face it, even if that had fixed it this is a game you don't want to play on your TV anyway, so the fact it's bad there too is just bonus sadness.    … Expand
