A Magical High School Girl is a very repetitive and basic rogue like game which puts up a really difficult argument for starting again each time you die.

Perfect Angle looks to provide a short compelling experience and the interesting perspective mechanic is novel at first but the game quickly runs out of ideas and some minor design decisions only make some of the puzzles even more of a drag.

There is no particularly remarkable title in the entire Sparkle franchise. Even then, Sparkle Zero feels like the most barebones execution of the creature-evolving idea. With no quest system, creature variety and different environments, there’s no reason to start from zero here.

Defoliation deserves no place on your Switch. It's a poor attempt at a visual novel, littered with shockingly translated dialogue and boring puzzles. Avoid!

Drago Dino is a game that hardly works and even when it manages to get past a loading screen the gameplay offered is poorly executed and not enjoyable.

Jolt Family Robot Racer attempts to add a competitive edge to the platforming formula, unfortunately a lack of progression and content holds back already lacklustre gameplay. With little to offer it's hard to recommend the game to anyone in particular but there's something promising about the concept of racing in a platforming style.

Air Mail is best played for its exploration and character. More memorable missions would have pushed the score up here - as they are, they're far too uninspiring.

Ninja Striker! is a fun retro inspired title that offers a unique gameplay system focused on speed and combos that is worth your time.

Bloons TD 5 is possibly the pinnacle of what tower defence games can offer, with tonnes of content, deep gameplay and more ways to play than you'll ever get through, there's something here for anyone even remotely interested in the tower defence genre.

Kill the Bad Guy focuses a bit too much on trial and error to be a truly compelling puzzle game. Nevertheless, the kills are inventive enough to warrant a purchase somewhere down the line.

If you're in the market for an auto- or endless-runner on Switch, you can't do much better than Chameleon Run Deluxe. While the high price point is a definite issue compared to mobile and the new levels aren't totally worth it, it's an ideal way to test your memory and skill, and enjoy yourself while doing it.

Ghost 1.0 features strong gameplay hooks in the form of twin-stick shooting and enemy possession to keep players engaged to the end. Sadly, it's not quite up there with other metroidvanias on Switch.

Skee-Ball seems more than happy to resemble an early-2000's flash game instead of a unique take on the arcade classic that it represents.

Lost Phone Stories is worth the price if you're a fan of stories that are real and empathetic, but the lack of replay value in both games may be off-putting for some who want more.

Frederic 2 offers more of the same from the first game. It's nice to have them both on Switch, and at an affordable rate given the sale price. They're both short games, though, so a bundle would be welcome.

Glaive: Brick Breaker appears to be a game that exists just to pay homage to its inspiration, Brick Breaker. It never tries to be much more than that, and is content wallowing in mediocrity.

Chicken Assassin: Reloaded is a crime against Action-RPGs but a godsend to the clicker genre. It'll serve those who are into this type of game well, but even extensive customisation load outs won't help it appeal to everyone else.

Angels of Death is a horror-adventure game that intrigues from the very start. A must-have for fans of psychological and physical horror that'll have you playing until the very early hours of the morning.

Zaccaria Pinball offers a ton of breadth, but despite its free entry point, trying to amass a complete collection of everything that's on offer is going to be really expensive stuff, and we can't justify recommending that.

Never Stop fails to hold the attention for long, and unfortunately there are others in the same genre that do the endless runner job a lot better. Wait til it's available for pennies.

Hungry Shark World is a noticeable step above its mobile ancestor, with improved controls across the board. Sadly, a few technical hiccups and a distinct lack of depth hold it back significantly.

Save the Ninja Clan is a great title for fans of hardcore platforming, with three different worlds, boss battles and the option to alter the game speed to suit your playing needs you should be able to find the right balance. Just be aware the difficulty curve is very steep and can cause frustration right from the outset!

It's Spring Again is - to put it bluntly - a thorough disappointment. It lacks content, accessibility and replay value, and its basic and repetitive graphics are enough to haunt any child's nightmares. For a game that is based on a popular children's puppet show, so much more could have been done to make it a truly informative and educational experience that players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds could enjoy. The only merit it does have is that it conveys some basic facts about the changing of the seasons - and even this knowledge could be better found elsewhere.

Repetitive track design, some of the worst graphics I've seen for a Nintendo Switch game and very lacklustre AI results in an extremely unfulfilling experience with Drone Fight; may leave a nasty taste.
