The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is everything that a sequel to Breath of the Wild should be. While many may have expected it to stick to its predecessor’s formula, Tears of the Kingdom combines creativity and innovation to the series’ strengths, and adds a mixture of new, extraordinary gameplay mechanics, a world expansion that makes the game much larger, an unsettling and gripping new plot, and an improved technical performance. The result is a monument of a game that’s also one of the greatest video games ever made.- Starbit

Donkey Kong Bananza is everything we could ask for in a new Donky Kong 3D platformer. Thanks to its new mechanics, Bananza puts a new spin on the platforming genre and it's nothing short of a marvel to use DK's destructive powers and open whole new paths to explore, while the cooperative mode and its flexible rules make the experience a delight to play with a friend. If we add to that a gorgeous visual world that appeals to both veterans and newcomers and a panoply of entrancing music tracks, Donkey Kong Bananza clearly stands out as a marvelous example of what the Nintendo Switch 2 can do.- Starbit

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury brings both the Wii U classic and an entirely new approach to its gameplay. If 3D World is the same game that it was on its original release, now updated to the Nintendo Switch format, then Bowser's Fury is a fantastic look into what could be the future of the Super Mario Bros. series, based on open world exploration. While this component may not last as long as we would like it to, it leaves us eager in anticipation to see what will be happening next.- Starbit

Absolum takes elements from beat'em ups, brawlers, and roguelites, and presents some of the best elements of those genres in an action-packed experience with a fantasy theme. The dynamic and varied combat gives the players all possible incentives to try different combinations and styles, and the game's exploration and progress are structured in a way that becomes very addictive, very quickly, with that classic 'just one more go' feeling that takes us back the arcades.- Starbit

Metroid Dread is an achievement in every dimension we use to look at it. This exquisite work brings the Metroid formula up to our day, yet it doesn't compromise on what made Metroid such a colossal name in gaming. The title UnderHero gives a hint about what the game is about, but it also shows the game's rather unassuming nature. With its exploration-heavy gameplay, creative combats and a plot that gets completely flipped upside down early on, Underhero grows to be a marvel of an experience that only gets the player more and more interested right around the same time as other games start losing their interest.- Starbit

Street Fighter 6: Years 1–2 Fighters Edition marks the premiere of the Street Fighter series on the Nintendo Switch 2 and it absolutely could not be more of a rocking success. The abundance of content and game modes, which makes this the most complete version of Street Fighter 6, will keep players of all kinds with their eyes and hands on the game, while its visual and technical performance are stellar, bringing this version close to the highest graphical standards. Less than one month into the Switch 2, Capcom could not have started its path in a better way on Nintendo's brand new console.- Starbit
