Death Road to Canada may not appeal to those who can't stand roguelikes anymore; however, all the other players will find here a complex yet intuitive game that will keep them busy for a very long time.

Island Time is an interesting experiment, but its limited structure makes the game boring even after a few hours.

A pretty platform game, with some nice stages created by the community. Too bad for the imprecise control system and some bad choices in level design.

Offering exactly the same contents of the PS4 version, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice on Xbox comes as a no brainer for the ones who love narrative and mature themes in a videogame, but may not be so palatable for the ones who primarily ask interactivity to a game.

Even though it's not the best JRPG out there in the vast 3DS library, The Alliance Alive comes in the twilight of the portable system, and it offers 40-plus solid hours of adventuring for the ones who were left wanting more from The Legend of Legacy.

While MX vs ATV All Out had great potential, it doesn't always manage to hold up, probably because of a troubled developing. There are still some positive features to hold on to, while we're waiting for an eventual future chapter.

We could talk about interactive book, but it won't be enough, we could talk about graphic novel, but it won't be enough. Is a particular narrative project, inheritance of the great story of Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth.

God of War is one of the best action game of this generation. Everything is at the right place, the combat-system is extremely engaging and the story is super. A game that brings new life to a series that obviously had something more to tell.

Extinction is solely based on a good idea, but fails to entertain due to the game structure and the algorithms for procedural content generation. The story is poorly narrated and feels out of focus during the missions.

Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten DX is a peculiar mix of tower-defense and RPG. Thanks to an intriguing story and a complex and satisfying gameplay, the game will appeal to all those who love strategy games, even with its lack of diversity in enemies.

The console version of Impact Winter is, on the whole, a more polished game than it was at the debut on PC, but its good ideas are still marred by a troublesome framerate and a good amount of small bugs and inconsistencies.

Basically Penny Punching Princess is yet another low budget production by Nippon Ichi who tries to throw into the fray some new gameplay, without having to take too much work from the technical point of view. The combat system can also be innovative and interesting to deepen, but in the long run can not entertain the player who is forced to move for dungeons always the same, which must be repeated several times each to improve the statistics of the princess and mitigate a particularly high level of difficulty.

Detective Pikachu moves far away from the main series, boasting a strong narrative and a charismatic protagonist that bears little to none resemblance to the Pikachu we're familiar with. In spite of its faults, this first experiment managed to entertain us, and we can't wait to get some new adventures with this coffee-lover detective.

Same Stitch is an amazing epilogue for an interesting and well-crafted season. It feels rushed sometimes and almost forgets about some characters that we learned to love (and hate) in the previous episodes, but the way your conflict with the main villain—and yourself—evolves is really thrilling and efficient.

Like the previous chapter, we don't think that The Witch and The Hundred Knight 2 is a bad title, but it isn't an excellent one either, remaining sufficient. If you liked the previous game, you can easily enjoy the sequel, otherwise this won't make you change your mind.

Far Cry 5 brings the player to a Montana Valley controlled by a religious fanatic group. The gameplay is solid and it is related to the past of the series. The game lasts 25 hours, guided by a non-linear storyline, and the arcade mode is a solid way to increase the value of the game.

A Way Out is a solid co-op game that tells a simple story about two men that find themselves to be partners in crime. The first half is way too simple, guided and slow; the second half is fun, with a dramatic turn of events.
