The fact that we had fun playing the Swords of Ditto, with its constant sense of progression and good variety of situations, doesn't make it a perfect game, with a fun but too simple combat system and too much repetition between one run and the the others. Still, a good roguelite to play both on your own or with a friend.

The Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana port is a complete mess. Full of problems and technical flaws, this is the worst version to play the best chapter of the series.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is a must-buy on Switch even more-so than its Wii U predecessor, thanks to smoother gameplay, flashier graphics and a fun new mode that will allow everybody to enjoy this gem of a platformer. Let's hope Nintendo brings some more Wii U masterpieces to its new console.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia is a new beginning and it carefully recreates the historical context of the early Middle Ages in the British Isles, but there are some missing points that will not make happy the Total War fans.

Don't Starve Mega Pack is the definitive edition of a great survival game, with a beautiful "burtonesque" sense of wonder. Try it, if you haven't done before.

Exorder is not a bad game, nor a masterpiece. It delivers a nice narrative and a good variety of units, but the gameplay is a bit dull, with no real elements that can push to create complex tactics.

It could be far more engaging with these premises, and the good cards that the game has could have been played in a better way.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is a good chance for those who never played a Naruto: Ultimate Ninja game before and can't get their hands on the latest chapter. However, the games haven't aged so well and the remastered edition itself has done very little to make them look and play like new titles.

Offering exactly the same contents of the PS4 version, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice on Xbox comes as a no brainer for the ones who love narrative and mature themes in a videogame, but may not be so palatable for the ones who primarily ask interactivity to a game.

Even though it's not the best JRPG out there in the vast 3DS library, The Alliance Alive comes in the twilight of the portable system, and it offers 40-plus solid hours of adventuring for the ones who were left wanting more from The Legend of Legacy.

We could talk about interactive book, but it won't be enough, we could talk about graphic novel, but it won't be enough. Is a particular narrative project, inheritance of the great story of Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth.
