Goat Simulator 3 makes no prisoners and comes out as a fun and non-stop parody of modern open world games. Some of its ideas are way better than others and it lacks that sense of surprise that we got with the first game, but it delivers on its mission to make you laugh again and again.

Floodland is an interesting post-apocalyptic city-building experience, but it lacks depths in some of its core mechanics.

Unlike Limbo and Inside, Somerville looks like an experimental and unfinished project with a confused story and many gameplay hiccups.

Harvestella is more than the sum of its parts, but it tries to merge some different gameplay souls into one nonetheless, resulting in a lack of depth in any of these.

Even if it's not a particularly ambitious production, Pentiment is a small gem that shows all the love for the late Middle Ages and its art in every single aspect.

The Last Hero of Nostalgaia pays homage to soulslike genre while telling a funny story with a lot of good irony. Nonetheless, the overall quality is too low for a demanding genre wit too many good games.

Despite it could have had more free songs (you have to pay a subscription to unlock the game's full potential), Rhythm Festival still manages to be enjoyable and extremely fun.

One of the two kings is back (the other one being Final Fantasy Tactics), and it is in a wonderful shape even eleven years after its last appearance. We're not 100% sure this is the best version of this classic, but it's a version no strategy fan should miss nonetheless.

Deathverse: Let it Die takes a different approach on battle royales, but how this will work in the long period (and how much it will be supported by the developers) still remains to be seen.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the usual well crafted FPS, but it could just have been an update for the previous entry. It has a new campaign, but some of its moment are way more worrying than intriguing, at best.

Football Manager 2023 is a solid iteration of one of the most beloved sim franchises on the market. It's addictive as usual, it adds some welcomed new features and an extra layer of strategy and official licenses. Now all that remains is to fix the abnormal injury rate and we're done.

Star Ocean The Divine Force is a much better effort than Integrity and Faithlessness was, and with it the Star Ocean franchise goes back on track six years after. Tri-Ace revamped the combt system and added new features, now it's up to Square Enix to decide the future of this long lasting series.

Bayonetta 3 is the best title from PlatinumGames for creativity and implementation of unique ideas on the gameplay side. A sum of what the Japanese studio can do, and this saga, from the aesthetic and narrative side. A sumptuous display of style and substance, an explosive third chapter in a series that elegantly places itself at the top of stylish action: a perfect Apotheosis.
