A nice game, without the courage to try something new in the survival horror genre. Teen dialogues and a short lasting appeal keep it from excellency.

Dead Space Etraction has literally taken parts from the best Survival Horror games and reconstituted them in a great rail shooter with a great deal of claustrophobic atmosphere and enemies. The unique requirement of dismembering enemies will turn some off to this game, but for those who can stomach the gore and stand the scares, there just isn't a better horror game for this console. Turn off the lights and good luck.

Arctic Edge Motorstorm has managed to miniaturize the whole adrenalinic arcade saga without losing a single element of those who have made this a winning formula. The problem rather is to be found in the absolute absence of novelty, but it is really difficult for a fan being disappointed. Players will find many races to compete in the festival mode, an excellent online, an immediate and handling control system and races designed with style. The next time you might expect something new, but to be the first release of this brand on the small PSP, you certainly can not complain.

Sports Island 2 succeeds in being far worse than the first episode. The game modes are numerous, but the result is a series of very boring mini games, caused by the repetitiveness of the actions and lack of responsiveness of the control system. The result is a game which, although sold at a budget price, will hardly enter your homes because of a superficial and poor development.

Evaluation of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is divided neatly into two. Taken as a title in itself is surely a good action, perhaps not particularly intriguing for its narrative, but solid in all other aspects, starting with a good playability and longevity well above the standards of the genre. Looked at as a conversion of a title released over a year ago, we cannot recommend the purchase to those who have already played and finished the X360 version. Ultimately, if you love the genre and you missed the latest edition of this important saga, do not hesitate, you will be more than satisfied, otherwise carefully consider the purchase.

A wonderful idea, completely new on the PSP, but the realization doesn't stands up to the brightness of it. However, a nice action game for your handheld.

The latest episode in the saga does not betray the expectations of fans. An episode that knows how to fascinate and entertain thanks to the many expedients that succeed in avoiding the risk of being repetitive. The software house haven't risked in producing the title, getting back to a narrative structure. The great graphics and gameplay, make this a must have for fans.

Call of Duty Mobilized is a fairly good porting. Immediate playability is sometimes ruined by awkward controls (especially zooming issues) and the single player experience won't last long. Multiplayer is not bad, but you'll sometimes have a hard time looking for players. Everyone who loves FPS in the palm of a hand should consider this, despite its little flaws.

Aion is a good MMORPG experience. While it won't reinvent the genre, it makes a very good use of various inspirations. The gameplay offers the best elements from previous MMORPGs, and Realm vs Realm will be a perfect endgame experience. The graphics engine is optimized for older computers, while the oriental concept is lovable and dreaming.

Katamari Forever is a tribute to fans of the series. In addition to two small improvements in terms of gameplay, the game does not reserve surprises: it's Katamari, in all its madness and charm. Unfortunately, all those who find themselves allergic to the series, will hardly find a reason to change their minds.

The main flaw of Halo 3: ODST is a lack of courage. Because with ODST Bungie could have tried to break away from the main saga, to give the ODST greater dignity and recognition. Although, it's still a very good game, full of spectacular moments and fun to play with a multiplayer segment of exception.

An hymn to what JRPG used to be before the FFVII era. Stunning plot, 100% customizable combat system and a sweet, old fashioned style that will drive any RPG fan mad. Casual gamers should really avoid this one.

Spyborgs is a great game. If you’re into Capcom games that have had an impact, then you’re looking in the right direction with this particular title. This game is an enjoyable gaming experience and you will probably want to play through the game with all three characters to experiment with all of their different moves but otherwise there is not much reason to replay the game other than the fact that it is very fun. There is also a higher difficulty level and a few other interesting bonus to unlock.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up is clearly inspired by the classic Smash Bros. This choice of programmers affects playability and fun. Continuing in the levels we can only note the obvious similarities with the fighting game produced by Nintendo. Game Arts, who had collaborated on the development of SSBB for Wii , could certainly have fun trying to produce a better title than the original and especially closer to the license. On some occasions there is a feeling that the spirit of the series has not really been grasped.

Wet is a stylish game, with a fair share of Tarantino and Stranglehold as inspirations. Sadly it doesn’t matches nor the genius of the former neither the fun gunplay of the latter, leaving just a repetitive action to be played over and over, with not much fun left.

Batman Arkham Asylum is a product of absolute value that can count on a cast of colorful characters to build a great game, really fun. The greatest strengths of the production lie in the gameplay built around what are the real capabilities of Batman, mixing action and stealth section, but always related with the universe from which have been extrapolated. Rocksteady's game is certainly the new standard for understanding how produce games under license, adapting for videogaming the very spirit of this historic character.

This tie-in is halfway between a NDS beat’em up and an average GBA title (gameplay-wise); a bit more polish could’ve opened it to a wider public, but as it is, it will attract only Naruto’s die hard fans.

Not without its light flaws, this great Need for Speed return is an exciting new point of view on the world of Turismo racing, mainly thanks to a well-crafted driving model. If you like the races, and you’re not a simulation fanatic, it’s the game to have.

The five months gape is, only partly, justified by the excellent port made by Capcom. On the other hand it's still the same product seen in March, but on a different platform, that for technical superiority manages to squeeze even more the excellent graphic engine. Whether an action or survival horror, in fact the truth is in the middle, grant it the benefit of the doubt and you'll surely be satisfied.

NHL 10 is a great game. It's greatest problem is that NHL 09 is a great game too, and the two chapter are too similar to bring someone buying the new game. But if you can't live without a new hockey game, NHL 10 is the title you are searching for.

If you are a simulation fan, then Heroes Over Europe is definitely not for you. However, if just like to have fun with a decent action game, you will be happily surprised as the use of bullet time and the breathtaking challenges hundreds of meters in height will be almost worth the while.

A mediocre game, few more than a fan service for the ones who love Marvel Universe. Low framerate and no use for the double screen and all the DSi features.
