Vanquish is the same cocky, powerful and magnetic shooting experience we fell in love with in 2010. Now, on PC, it's even better with full resolution and no limits on fps, and it represents the definitive edition of this little Platinum Games masterpiece.

The PS4 version of Terraria adds bigger worlds, new enemies and new bosses to an already addictive formula, and certainly represents the best place to begin if you still haven't tried any previous edition. Nonetheless, it is not worth your money again if you already own it on any other platform.

A niche little gem, not to miss if you're a fan of the old role-playing style, but just a tad too slow JRPG for all the others. You might want to try it before proceeding to the download.

An old school shooter with style. A shame for the missing online ladders and some more variety in its good gameplay.

Probably the best manga inspired game around with its fast paced and accessible gameplay, and its gigantic roster. The new Story Mode is a step back compared to Ninja Storm 2, but the smart gameplay changes make this title considerably funnier, especially online.

PES 2015 is a complete, competitive and good game with a valid gameplay, great Fox Engine and, sadly, very big issues in the online multiplayer. Konami wasted maybe too much time before revolutionizing its brand, but finally they are on the right path, leaving its signature on this gen and winking to the next one. At the end, PES can entertain the players, and that's the most important thing after all.

While it's not Uchikoshi at its best, Ai The Somnium Files The Nirvana Initiative is still a Uchikoshi game, and, as such, it's a well written adventure/visual novel, with quirky characters and a plot with some twist and turns.

It's full of RPG cliches, yet it delivers some solid fun, especially in co-op.

The Switch version is as good as the others when it comes to content, and even if some compromises have to be accepted, the possibility to enjoy this underrated action RPG on the go is a very welcome one. Give it a try.

Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend is the definitive Blazblue experience. It's been rebalanced, includes two new modes, and four new characters (one, Relius Clover, is an exclusive). Still, those contents don't really justify a disc version of the game. Extend is a must have for fighting fans, but only if you don't have any of the older versions.

The new HD version of HOTD is a perfect porting of the last chapter of Sega franchise, thanks to the good visual impact and well-implemented Move mechanics. The main mode is short but intense, and two additional chapters give more time to spend into the title. The price is competitive and the fun guaranteed.

Skate 3 represents the maturation for the brand. The good number of new options and the overall quality make aren't enough to make this game a must have for the owners of the previous title, but it's undoubtedly made for fans and a good start for novices.

If you loved the last series by Telltale, don't expect anything new from Game of Thrones. But if you're a big fan of Martin's fantasy saga you'll find those atmospheres, that characters ambiguity, that violence mixed with pettiness and intrigue that serves as a perfect springboard to dive into the usual Telltale game style.

Halo Wars 2 is a great example of how to make a great console RTS: the 343 Industries & Creative Assembly title is improved over its predecessor in terms of its interesting gameplay features, great calibration, good rhythm and Blitz as an excellent new mode. Unfortunately the campaign doesn't always look brilliant overall. However Halo Wars 2 stands as an absolutely recommended purchase for Halo lovers and has great appeal for RTS genre newcomers.

GRID Autosport performs well, but it never excels. The Codemasters logo is unmistakably synonymous with quality, and in this way we find all the good features of the British developer in this game. The contents are so many, and the hours of gameplay are sufficient to justify a purchase.

Daemon X Machina is one of the biggest surprises of this year on Nintendo Switch: a third person shooter that is much more of the sum of its parts, recommended not only to mech and anime fans but to anyone looking for a good mission-based shoot'em up.
