You can play a Gwent game, written as an amazing The Witcher tale, wherever you want on your Nintendo Switch. There is literally nothing more you should ask.

Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is the exact image of its protagonist: funny, out of its mind and light on serious content and story beats. Long-time fans of the franchise will remember this as a Majima extravaganza, while newcomers as the perfect entry point in this long-running series.

Do not be fooled by the seemingly simple mechanics, this game is hardcore turn based strategy at its finest and even gaming veterans will have a hard time mastering it. Definitely a must buy if you like the genre, considering the low price tag.

It's a beat'em'up for the genre fans, dedicated to learn all of its tricks. The newcomers won't have an easy time with it. A shame for the lack of polish on the online, that makes it laggy and lacking depth and content, and the lame graphics. This won't stop the fans though, that will still have fun with the great combat system.

The second part of Ties that Bind represents the real start of the third season of The Walking Dead, delivering a fast-paced story with interesting twists and characters. The presence of this "new" Clementine is fascinating, but it can create some flaws on the narrative side and in the decision process of the player.

It's basically Farmville in the Smurfs' village: stay away if you don't like microtransactions, on the other hand the gameplay is overall funny.

Even on Xbox, Silent Hill 2 Remake is a product with a dual nature: on one hand, you notice every detail, every crack, and every bloodstain that previously went unnoticed; on the other, you miss that unsettling uncertainty, that sickly slow pace that kept you glued to your seat. It’s an ambitious, bold operation, sometimes successful, sometimes betraying the original. If you want pure nostalgia, be ready to be shaken; if you want modern horror that doesn’t forgive, be prepared for some compromises.

Parent life is a very good game pack. The Sims 4 brought us a nice experience in terms of Sim development and everyday family life, also adding a good amount of objects and new clothing options. It is certainly a must buy for those who are very into playing the same family generation after generation.

Crown of the Sunken King is a high quality DLC, which gets structurally closer to the previous chapters and pushes the player to explore every inch of the new, dangerous area. It is not particularly long-lived, this is true, but it will please many fans of the series.

RIDE 6 is not a game that tries to impress through spectacle or radical reinvention. It speaks softly, but with confidence and clarity. Milestone chose to reflect on its own legacy and shape a more mature, balanced experience. The result is a game that values freedom, accessibility, and respect for the sport it represents.

House of the Dead Overkill is a funny “rail-line shooter”. New settings, charismatic characters and good graphics make the game really interesting. The title also has few problems; sometimes the frame-rate drops down and the bosses are too easy to beat. Anyway, Nintendo Wii has another good shooter in its collection.

The Medium is a step forward for Bloober Team, mature enough to propose a compelling, twisted dark thriller with an astonishing visual art. Without run&hide sessions and with a more complex level design. it could be a more enjoyable game.

Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten DX is a peculiar mix of tower-defense and RPG. Thanks to an intriguing story and a complex and satisfying gameplay, the game will appeal to all those who love strategy games, even with its lack of diversity in enemies.

Kane and Lynch 2 is a definite improvement over its predecessor, but it still has some flaws. The cover system is still clunky and the singleplayer campaign is definitely too short. Still, the game has a great style. It's movie-like, with a charismatic leading pair of characters, original online modes and the added treat of the co-op campaign. It could've been more, but as it is, it's just a pretty good shooter.

Sucker Punch failed to inject some new power in inFamous Second Son. Neat graphics and some beautiful neon effects barely cover a poor combat system. On the other side the game is still fun and with a good longevity so probably old infamous fans will not be disappointed.

The Book of Legends is a classic retro J-RPG that proves itself to be long-lived, solid, interesting, full of things to do and with many characters and secrets to discover. On the other hand, it's a classical formula with very little new stuff. But that's not a big deal.

Once Upon a Katamari is the return fans have been waiting for: colorful, eccentric, and brimming with the carefree absurdity that made Bandai Namco’s franchise so unique. While it doesn’t reinvent the formula, it tastefully modernizes it with a more cohesive structure. It’s a game that chooses refinement over revolution, but does so with genuine love for its quirky universe and characters. In short, Once Upon a Katamari doesn’t redefine the series; it celebrates it in the most joyful way possible.

No need to reinvent the wheel when you have a fast combat system, a good algorithm and a lovely artistic design: this is why Dead Cells has become one of the best habits of this summer. Don't miss it it you loved any Castlevania game ever made.
