If you've ever been interested in the point and click adventure genre, Return to Monkey Island is a must play. You could argue that it feels a bit reiterative of the previous games in the franchise instead of doing "its own thing", but it is hard to critisice it for that reason when it seems to be one of its main goals for veteran fans: to take them on a nostalgic trip towards new oceans.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is the best horror game ever. Bloober Team has not only delighted us with its best game, but also with a must for fans of the genre. Its gameplay is perfectly balanced to be satisfying, accompanied to perfection by a fantastic puzzle system. In addition, it has one of the best soundtracks in the industry, as well as a graphic finish that easily makes it Top 3 of the generation at a visual level.

The new port of Persona 3 Portable is still the version that so many players fell in love with in 2009, and although it does not have major changes, all the content it offers, such as living the story of a male and female protagonist, is enough to have many hours of game.

Monster Hunter Rise has innovated the classic formula of Capcom's success in all aspects, thus achieving new systems that undoubtedly feel extremely fresh and dynamic. With this in mind I can affirm that this installment is one of the funniest Monster Hunters in the entire saga.

This is an impeccable platform and action title, which bases all its gameplay on the rhythm of the music and which makes everything have outstanding fluidity. The difficulty of timing is adjustable so just about anyone can enjoy the game, pulling off combos and powerful attacks without having to be a timing ace. The protagonists and the final bosses have an exquisite personality and designs and give more power to a story that has its plot twists and its slightly more emotional and profound moments. Although Hi-Fi RUSH doesn't have an epic story, it has everything necessary to captivate you from the beginning, and together with that feeling of fluidity when playing, it leaves a very good taste in the mouth after a few hours at the controls. The game improves until practically its end, so we won't be able to stop playing until we discover what SPECTRA is and what they want to use it for. In addition, once we complete Hi-Fi RUSH, we can replay the levels to discover each and every one of the secrets that the levels hide, so we have an incentive to play them again. Or if you are a completionist, you have at your disposal the Wall of Fame, where a good handful of challenges await you. As you can see, Hi-Fi RUSH has everything it takes to become a title that many of us will remember over the years. If you are a fan of platform games, action games, or you just like music and video games, you have to give Hi-Fi RUSH a try, I assure you that you will not regret it.

Halo Infinite is the best game from 343 Industries, and probably the best game of the Master Chief: an epic journey, full of emotion, joy, and, of course, a marvelous soundtrack that make us connect with our beloved Master Chief and his new companions. Everyone who loves Halo, must play Halo Infinite.

After a wave of releases that has emptied our wallets, it's time to make a last effort because, beyond the sloppiness when it comes to remastering the technical section or translating the videogame, Okami HD is still as perfect as it was in 2006. A love letter to the players.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew lets you join a cursed pirate crew that seeks a legendary treasure, using supernatural powers and manipulating time. The game gives you a lot of freedom to choose your own way of playing, from the characters you select to the missions you undertake. It could almost be considered a masterpiece of the stealth strategy genre, as it will surprise you and make you feel like a true pirate.

This time, we will be in charge of a museum, and as museum managers, we will have to carry out expeditions, manage the economy, keep our “guests” happy, and more. Without a doubt, we won’t get bored in this game, as there are plenty of things to do. With the best features from its predecessors and new additions, it improves upon what we already knew, making it one of the best management games.

Persona 3 Reload, despite some shortcomings if we compare it with its past versions, will be recognized as one of the best ways to experience this shocking story. Perhaps the lack of content such as “The Answer” could give the feeling that something is missing, but the possibility of seeing this type of expansions in the future remains open.

Obsidian Entertainment excels in Pentiment, showing us what they can do creating powerful narrative, characters and story. Undoubtedly a GOTY contestant.

Resident Evil 7 is one of the best survival horror games of recent years. The Bakers are terrifying, the first-person camera works fine and the atmosphere is unique. But, the most important thing is that Resident Evil 7 is the best title in the saga since Resident Evil 4.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a very special RPG. The title has made an effort to try to create a world that wants to be explored, and is not a mere excuse to advance to the next city. The journey and not the destination is the most important thing in an adventure that presents a really deep and tremendously fun gameplay system. It is true that it is not perfect, especially at a technical level, but it is good enough to be considered one of the greats of the year.

Turn10 Studios brings us what is undoubtedly the king of simulation. A light simulation, or "simcade" as many nickname it, but certainly an intermediate point that achieves the greatest of virtues, balancing in the balance the requirement of the simulators and the immediacy of the arcades, leaving to the consumer the configuration which you prefer as far as simulation is concerned.

BioWare was facing an impossible mission, but with Dragon Age: The Veilguard has brought to life a game which knows what it wants to be. Maybe the execution doesn't pair with the fans wishes, but this return to the fantasy franchise is entertaining and visually spectacular. The biggest flaw is an inconsistent pace because of its large length.

Treyarch no longer cares to hide what Black Ops 4 is: a 3 in 1. Good news is that each of those three games has the polished classic gameplay of the saga, and links it to different concepts. A multiplayer with a more tactical approach and new modes, a tremendously addictive arcade battle royale, and the deepest zombie mode to date.
