Undungeon is a visually breath-taking game that unfortunately suffers from lack of actual game content in favour of overcomplicated world building. The combat is clunky, there is way too much text to read and thanks to ridiculous damage scaling mechanic the difficulty is nerve racking. And that’s a shame, because developers created a intimidating, sci-fi wasteland world, sprinkled with rich lore.

While the game’s narrative aspect is truly engaging, it’s difficult to appreciate all the dialogue options and plot twists with so many flaws that plague Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. With grotesque facial animations, clumsy exploration options, lots of bugs and a lacking introduction to the World of Darkness, Swansong is a game for die-hard fans who are tired of waiting for Bloodlines 2.

A building strategy at the beginning of the new year is not a bad idea at all. Although it resembles the legendary game Pharaoh - or maybe because of that. However, it doesn't bring anything that we haven't seen before and the technical condition is not exactly the best.

If you saw Avatar 3 at the cinema, the new game expansion will let you explore the events and a new tribe from a different perspective. While the expansion offers a solid story, the level design is weaker and the missions are repetitive.

Super Technos World has a decent selection of games from a well-known studio, but it could have been better curated. You can find your favourites in the list and invite other players to play, but there are certainly more tempting retro compilations on the market.

SpaceVenture finally arrives after more than a decade, but it feels trapped in the past. While it offers old-school adventure charm, absurd humor, and a few nostalgic ideas, outdated design, clumsy UI, short length, and aging jokes hold it back. A curiosity for fans of classic adventures, but a tough sell for modern players.

The new addition to the Souls genre doesn't blow your mind, but it has quite acceptable content that you won't get bored of.

Overall, the new F1 24 game is a weaker addition to the series, it doesn't add much news this year, it doesn't even have a story mode, and the authors have changed the physics model. It is such a double-edged sword - on the one hand, it can please casual players, but disappoint more experienced simulation players.

Renovate the train station, now in Germany as well. It's a non-original, but quite solid relaxation simulation.

The Last Hero of Nostalgaia aspired to create a compelling satire on unending cycle of nostalgia, but during its development the devs got somehow tangled in the restraining string of its own narrator. This somehow unique love letter to Dark Souls is not only sprinkled with various nostalgic gags from pop culture, but filled with endless references, humor, and lack of original ideas… Bugs, glitches and more than a decade of idealization created this soulslike mess which has its moments, but somehow misses the very point it’s trying to make.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is a proof that a Final Fantasy game can work in battle royale genre. However, it lacks its soul and it won't keep you entertained for very long.

War strategy games on hexagon fields appear only occasionally, and this one is definitely not among the best for various reasons. In the final reckoning, Total Tanks Generals has decent potential, which is beaten by several elements that spoil the fun and make the game frustrating.

NHL 25 plays better than the last few games in the series, but it doesn't bring any real changes, improvements or new features. In the end, it's just an overpriced update.

Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age is a unique game that does many things in its own way. But be warned, that doesn't necessarily mean it does them well, as in some ways it goes against the grain and makes things unnecessarily complicated.

God of War: Sons of Sparta is a competent 2D metroidvania that expands Kratos’ past with solid combat, familiar voices, and a decent amount of content. However, generic level design, forgettable bosses, heavy backtracking, and a lack of standout moments prevent it from feeling worthy of the franchise’s legacy. Functional, but surprisingly uninspired.

Innovative adventure strategy, especially adventure, which has an interesting approach, atmosphere and folklore. But in practice, the gameplay is quite cumbersome, unbalanced, and after a few hours you will find that it is also sterile and brings only limited fun. What starts out as a promising settlement management quickly turns into a routine with limited construction and lifeless wandering in the forest.

The Devil in Me could have been a decent detective story with unexpected twists. It could have been a dissection of the mind of a perverted killer or a social commentary on the obsession with serial killers. Supermassive Games could have played mind games with players in the tradition of The Dark Pictures anthology. And yet, they chose to create a bland mixture of horror tropes in an otherwise intriguing setting and with a pretty good atmosphere.

The Last Ninja is one of the most unique series of the '80s and '90s. It is now being revived in a retro collection. What's it like? It's stylish, but it's a bit too retro for today's gamers, and it could have done with something extra.

A remarkable game that turns you into a mad doctor for a few hours, complete with a dose of violence and morbidity. The idea is fine, the look is acceptable too, but the in-game activities are rather few and, more importantly, repetitive to death.

Although Highrise City seems quite complex, it is somehow economical at the same time. As if the creators saved in every direction and were afraid of finer processing, going more in-depth, creating more comfort for players, as well as more beautiful visuals, and the story is downright sloppy.

The authors of USC: Counterforce put so much on their shoulders that they visibly ran out of steam in the final sprint, which is why the game looks the way it does. It's a waste of time pretending to be an Aliens - Xcom when everything, including difficulty settings, campaign handling, base building and unit management, feels rushed and unfinished.
