Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms is a solid action/RPG overall. If you are looking for something in the vein of Diablo, you might be disappointed. But if you want something with an interesting story, novel mechanics and exquisite level design to dig in then Shadows is a worthy investment.

Hunters of The Dead combines elements from different genres such as Tower-Defence, Resource Management and RPG's. Although it features well-designed gameplay mechanics, the game doesn't stand out.

This game tries to offer something fresh and different, especially compared to the numerous war-oriented games we see nowadays, but quickly becomes repetitive.

Telltale's blockbuster triumph, Iron From Ice easily stands amongst the beloved TV show's top moments. Deeply personal and quite visceral, the ante is tremendously upped by the fact that you are no longer called upon to decide the fate of a single individual, but your entire House. Choices take on a whole new meaning when you have the weak and those who look up to you for guidance and protection to consider. This, along with Tales from the Borderlands, are an exquisite opening salvo from Telltale, ushering in the third age of interactive movies. We could not be more excited about the prospects.

With very dense storytelling and ambiguous ending, The Old City: Leviathan is a very intriguing, non-conventional (walking-simulator) title that will leave you wondering what you experienced during your play. Its philosophical inquiries will keep on nagging, pressing for one more playthrough in the hopes of getting a clearer meaning.

Quite possibly Telltale's single funniest, most enjoyable game to date. It will remind you of Full Throttle, Space Quest and every single anti-hero you ever grew up with. Regardless of your opinion of the Borderlands universe, this is an unmissable ride into the sheer, exuberant joy of setting the world on fire and getting away with it all.

Far Cry 4 is an amazing game, there is no doubt about it. Especially in a matter of content is unrivaled: huge length of the single player campaign, co-op and multiplayer capabilities and an integrated map editor. However, we hope that it will not fall in the pitfall of the annual releases like other Ubisoft's titles.

Deeply atmospheric artwork and an excellent soundtrack set the premise for a deeply personal horror experience that loses its footing when it comes to hit or miss puzzle design and stealth sections that seem to punish the player, detracting from an otherwise very strong experience.

In This War of Mine you control a group of civilians, who are struggling to survive during a war conflict. Based on the siege of Sarajevo, the game offers a great experience the real terror of war.

The new turn-based operations map approach that is introduced in CoH2AA increases the level of replay-ability. This combined with the tactical strategy elements that are sustained throughout the series make the game one of the best RTS experiences out there.

Escape Dead Island is a solid c-reel splatter movie, offering simple yet satisfying stealth and combat, along with a plethora of interesting collectibles to discover. Its main narrative and the way it presents itself is by far its greatest strength. Its cardinal sin is that it is being sold as a full price AAA title, when it is very clearly, a budget release, destined for Steam sale cult game stardom. It will entertain you, but the price needs to be right.

PES 2015 is a step forward to the next gen football sims. The core gameplay mechanisms are well-balanced, resulting in the game to be a real fun to play and surely the best of the series until now.

Assassin's Creed: Unity is maybe one of the best games of the series, but the unacceptable (for an AAA game) technical issues and the low performance even on high-end systems make it difficult to suggest someone buy at full price.

Better than last year's version, but only just. Football Manager 2015 sports the usual array of interface, AI and match engine improvements but on a smaller scale than we are used to. As such this year's edition of the definitive football management sim is not the absolute must-buy that it usually is, but it is undoubtedly better than FM 2014 and it will provide hundreds of hours of gameplay to football and gaming fans worldwide.

The first Legend of Grimrock managed to pay homage to the forefathers of its genre, while being free of the shortcomings that often plague retro productions. Its successor, following the same footsteps has managed to expand this successful core towards new directions. It is bigger, technically superior and it offers deeper gameplay. Nevertheless, if you aren't familiar with grid based gameplay, try it out yourselves prior to purchasing it.

With a very satisfyingly long runtime, excellent, challenging puzzles designed for hardcore adventure game players and it's inimitable mood, atmosphere and graphic presentation, the Dream Machine is only held back from "instant classic" status by it's lack of recorded voice-overs. Everything else in this surreal odyssey of the mind is simply top notch and guaranteed to find a place in the hearts of true adventure gamers everywhere.

While Binding of Isaac is a good contender for the Indie Game of 2014 title, it surely is the best roguelike game of our generation. Edmund McMillen unravels and dedicates his creative genius in bringing a remake of a game full of meaningful additions and improvements on gameplay. BoIR provides a golden standard on how games should be remade and/or improved. Whether you are a gamer who seeks small half-an-hour shots of gaming or a crazed achievement completionist, you'll have a hell of time (and it will be a lot) playing Rebirth. Get it now.

Even though a glimmer of an intriguing concept lies at its design core and I don't doubt that the lads at Epiphany Games have the finest of intentions, this is neither The Secret World, nor Hotline Miami. The stealth and combat are simply atrocious when attempted with PC controls, and a host of bugs will often break the more interesting parts of the game. The excellent soundtrack and the sheer manic glee with which the developers tried to include every conspiracy theory ever pondered in two and a half hours of gameplay is admirable but Majestic Nights has a long way to go before it can even be considered for cult stardom.

An unsatisfactory repetition of last year's game, F1 2014 cannot justify its release. The minor gameplay improvements are inadequate, compared to the various deficiencies, such as graphics and sound stagnation, lack of ERS system, absence of a special gaming mode like Champions or Classic mode of 2012 and 2013 respectively, problematic A.I and erratic penalty system.

A tremendous wasted opportunity for a definitive remake of a legendary turn-based game. Its gameplay fundamentals are solid, the presentation is nice and the combat system is fun enough, but numerous technical problems, performance issues, unfinished and sloppy gameplay and interface elements as well as several other issues tarnish a game that may eventually become quite good with further development and support. Until that happens you are better off waiting.

A hardcore, unforgiving, old school survival horror blockbuster, heir to the same triumphs and pitfalls as all of its ilk. The story ultimately fails to make a lasting impression, but the frantic, two bullets and a prayer sense of always being half a step away from horrible death and dismemberment, greatly succeeds in making this a hugely satisfying romp through the darker side of the human psyche.

State of Decay, besides its flaws, is among the few good efforts of conveying a zombie apocalypse to the PC.With its interesting character progression and base building mechanics, along with the generous content of the DLC's, it is a good bang for the buck for the people who are fond of slaughtering decaying humanoids.

The apparent willingness from the development team to invest emotion and drama in the game's plot, combined with various, interesting, characters give us a nice start for an interactive storytelling game whose biggest drawback is the complete lack of voice overs. At this point, the choices we make do not lead to serious differentiation of events, but that's something many games of this relatively new category suffer from.

A satisfying Hack & Slash game that requires a tactical approach rather than mindless clicking in order to enjoy it in full. The use of the rule-set, tables and classes from Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition turns an already huge game in a replayable heaven. My only gripe would be the path-finding of characters, something that has plagued all Infinity Engine games since their inception.
