If you’re a hardcore fan of Deadliest Catch, you might—might—eke some enjoyment from the video game version’s lazy simulation of the tasks. However, you’d have a much better time just watching the show with a controller in your hand, and pretending. You might get a more responsive experience, too.- Pure Nintendo

Listen; I know I shouldn’t expect much when spending $0.99 on a 3DS game, but I at least expect a full product. Squarcat feels like a group assignment in Beginners Programming, and two of the team members decided they’d rather get drunk and make Tik Tok videos than help their classmates. Give credit to the others for still turning the project in, but despite some okay puzzles, the poor physics, lack of audio, and heavy repetition earn Squarcat an incomplete.- Pure Nintendo

Demolish & Build Classic takes you on a tour of the “exciting” world of construction contracting. The big problem is that the world of construction and contracting is more of a mundane job with a lot of hard work and very little excitement. Performance issues and a disheartening beginning lead to lots of work and little fun. But if you can get past that, you do get to drive bulldozers, cranes, and the like.- Pure Nintendo

It’s a shame because, despite its flaws, I initially had fun with Cilla. The concept has potential, and the presentation (pixel art backgrounds and music) is pleasing. But the narrative focus demands good writing, and this game lacks it. The same goes for clever enemies, fun weapon variety, and two-player support. Coupled with frequent glitches, this is one alien invasion few will feel compelled to stop.- Pure Nintendo

While Warparty is a visually stunning attempt at bringing real-time strategy to the Nintendo Switch, it’s lacking in understandable controls and small maps that make the overall experience feel restrictive and monotonous.- Pure Nintendo

So, yeah. Fatal Fracture is a bad game. It functions, but it has no reason to be. The process of buying it is actually more engaging than the game itself, and I think I’ll just close this review with that.- Pure Nintendo

My time spent with Pooplers was disappointing as it wasn’t fun. I thought to myself several times when playing, “Who thought this was a good idea?” and “People are expected to play this and enjoy it?” I would not suggest this game to be played at your next gaming party or at all.- Pure Nintendo

Bye Sweet Carole excels at beautiful art that echoes the style of early animation, but its tension is undermined by poor pacing and clunky controls, and any goodwill towards the spooky atmosphere is ruined by the game-crashing bug that freezes the game midway through.- Pure Nintendo

Whilst I can’t justify anyone purchasing this title, there was effort put in at least… The developer’s pride for an Advance Wars style game shined through, which I can appreciate. It has its issues whether it be a cluttered user interface, bad graphics, and similar environments, which can make it easy to overlook this title, and I can’t say you’d be missing much. If you are an Advance Wars fan, you might want to try looking elsewhere, that is, if you can’t overlook these points of concern (a good starting place might be Chucklefish’s latest hit – Wargroove).- Pure Nintendo

Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator has modest ambitions but between awkward controls and repetitive gameplay, it is just too bland and arduous to meet them.- Pure Nintendo

Dull, repetitive, boring, and glitchy, are just a few words I’d use to describe Ships. Steer clear of this one.- Pure Nintendo

Maybe this game just isn’t for me, but Ultra Off-Road 2019: Alaska is not enjoyable and no matter how realistic it strives to be enjoyability is more important. There isn’t enough to do that’s fun or even looks good enough to be worth $18.99. Even if it goes on sale I’d say it still isn’t worth it.- Pure Nintendo

Dreamless does what it should to get the player from the beginning to the end, but it very nearly actually put me to sleep playing it. If you really want a horror game, keep looking.- Pure Nintendo

The devs need to look at the level of quality or lack thereof. Just because a game can coast on mobile doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for the Switch. GoFishing 3D is just too poor on so many levels. Not to mention it is absurdly priced, making it only worthwhile as a catch and release game to those wanting an overpriced chuckle.- Pure Nintendo

In the end, ELEA: Paradigm Shift looks and feels like a beta release. It has a very unfinished feel with all its problems. It wouldn’t even make a good hardware demo for the Switch because of glitches.- Pure Nintendo

Art Sqool fails as both an “art school simulator” and a video game. There’s nothing educational here, and its gameplay is the equivalent of scribbles I might’ve drawn as a toddler.- Pure Nintendo

Despite its cheap price tag of US$5.OO, it remains hard to recommend due to its non-intuitive nature without a tutorial. I’d highly suggest that AskAnEnemyStudios considers adding a tutorial section if they want more people to take this game on Switch seriously. Personally, I don’t see the game being worth anyone’s hard-earned cash, especially for parents looking for a game to pick up for their child.- Pure Nintendo

I said at the begging of the review I didn’t have high expectations; it’s a shame the game proved less fun than I expected. Unfortunately, I did not get very much entertainment out of it at all. It felt more like an educational game for young kids trying to put things in the right order. Sadly, even those can be more fun. However, fans of the YouTube channel may get some entertainment out of the game, but I cannot justify the $4.99 price tag for anyone. Fans should probably stick to the YouTube channel.- Pure Nintendo

Redneck Skeet Shooting blunders on such a fundamental level that, I’m surprised it even reached the eShop from mobile without more adjustments. A game with such low quality simply doesn’t belong on the Nintendo Switch. Dull as dishwater, Redneck Skeet Shooting is, sadly, simply horrible.- Pure Nintendo

The idea behind this game had the potential to be an important game with a genuine message made accessible and engaging, but it undermines its own premise with weird humour, awkward gameplay and far too many sloppy details. It’s clear Saborus was incredibly lazily made.- Pure Nintendo

Help Me Doctor is a simulation game that’s made with broken dialogue, sprinkled with glitches, and only a pinch of gameplay. Save the $8 and find a different medical simulator.- Pure Nintendo

I find Gallic Wars: Battle Simulator more of a proof of concept than an actual game. There are so many far superior options in the tactics category that this game is even a waste of time for beginners.- Pure Nintendo

Garage Mechanic Simulator takes an uneventful premise and wraps it in an aesthetically uninteresting package with an embarrassing user interface. When it comes to fundamentals, console polish, and stand out features, this game is out of gas. It’s so boring, I’m taking my business to another garage.- Pure Nintendo
