This is essentially a Kirby platformer as you are used to, but more beautiful, more atmospheric and with some subtle innovations that make the experience interesting again. As long as you don't rush through it too quickly!- Power Unlimited

Tunic is an old-fashioned entertaining game and a true modern classic for the enthusiast. The level design has been taken care of down to the last detail and the bosses are fantastic. Tunic packs the essence of gaming into a cute, memorable and spirited adventure, leaving many a major release gathering dust. A few imperfections and the sometimes somewhat mediocre controls are the only blemishes on a great adventure.- Power Unlimited

Enough (online) open world games have appeared in recent years, but none like Grand Theft Auto 5. Thanks to this next-gen upgrade we can enjoy them again, at least until GTA 6 is released. Enough reason to rate this upgrade with a more than satisfactory.- Power Unlimited

Still can't get enough of Valhalla after all those tens of hours? Then you should get some fun out of Dawn of Ragnarök. Despite its deserted areas, Svartalfheim is beautiful enough to walk through. But yearn for a more historically accurate part? Then you better stay away from this. This actually has little to do with Assassin's Creed, and at the same time is more of the same after spending about a hundred hours in Valhalla.- Power Unlimited

Triangle Strategy puts a lot of effort into its story and presentation, but it is fairly standard fantasy that is not well acted. Fortunately, the tactical gameplay, based on Final Fantasy Tactics, is stronger than ever. The ramifications in the story provide new missions and characters, so replaying the campaign is extra fun.- Power Unlimited

Despite my high expectations and some hiccups, Gran Turismo 7 surprised me positively. This is the most complete Gran Turismo ever, with beautiful graphics and presentation, masterful physics, a lot of content, a great single player and extensive multiplayer, and above all a lot of love for cars and motorsport.- Power Unlimited

CrossfireX is already the biggest disappointment of the year. It tries to be so many things at once that it's really nothing at all. The multiplayer is an unbalanced, dull, nauseating experience and the campaign misses too many opportunities to be really worth it. The large amount of microtransactions is the rotten icing on the collapsed cake.- Power Unlimited

The massive open game world isn't the earth-shattering innovation we expected from FromSoftware, but thankfully the Dark Souls foundation it's built over is just as strong and addictive as we've come to expect from the studio. It's the seventh piece of evidence that no one really does boss fights and epics as well as Hidetaka Miyazaki.- Power Unlimited

A gigantic time-guzzler that combines a lot of elements of the best open world games, from Assassin's Creed to The Witcher and from Far Cry to Red Dead Redemption; Horizon Forbidden West wants it all. Due to this enormous ambition, this has unfortunately become a less perfect and more overwhelming game than predecessor Zero Dawn, but certainly no less unforgettable.- Power Unlimited

Technically and mechanically, Sifu is very solid as a strong roguelike beat-'em-up with a slick style and atmosphere. However, if you haven't reached a state of enlightenment and eternal peace, this can be an extremely tough game for you and the euphoria of success should keep you going for hours of rehearsal and practice. But it is well worth it, in my opinion.- Power Unlimited

Dying Light 2 is larger and more atmospheric than its predecessor and therefore offers exactly what fans of part 1 want. There are better RPGs with better stories and better combat mechanics, but there are too few games like Dying Light 2, which focus on clumsy action and wonderfully smooth gameplay. Dying Light 2: stay you man. Because you add something important to the game offer, also in 2022.- Power Unlimited

Pokémon Legends: Arceus feels like Game Freak's big, successful experiment. The gameplay cycle, new combat system, and sense of discovery make it the freshest Pokémon experience in years. Unfortunately, the technical aspect keeps Legends: Arceus from being a really great game.- Power Unlimited

In terms of design and level design, Extraction certainly has something nice in its hands. Too bad it's filled with boring assignments, a handful of different aliens and a cringe-inducing progression system. Ubisoft's spin-off doesn't offer more than a few hours of entertainment, unless you were head over heels in love with Siege's Outbreak mode and likes repetition.- Power Unlimited

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story features turn-based combat that won't be enjoyed by everyone for a long time, but is saved by an engaging story, fun characters, and entertaining exploration. As one of the first single player League of Legends games, this shows tremendous potential.- Power Unlimited

Anyone with an unbridled love for the virtual farming, horticulture and animal husbandry of the Farming Simulator series will love this latest installment. The inclusion of virtually all major agricultural brands, combined with all available crops and animals, as well as superb graphics and sound design, provide an authentic farming experience that has clearly been crafted with great care and love. Please note that you are dealing with an in-depth simulation of farm life here. You have to figure out every function of a machine if you want to use it effectively and that feels, for the agricultural layman that I am, all just a bit too hardcore.- Power Unlimited

The Gunk is a game that you will probably soon forget. The journey of discovery is linear and the things you discover are never really exciting. The facial animations and cliché gameplay make the game feel like a PlayStation 2 remaster, the low difficulty takes all the tension away and the story has little to do with it. It is a nice entry-level game for people who have less gaming experience.- Power Unlimited

Apart from the Momentum mechanic, Battlesector adds little to the tactics formula. The tactical confrontations are smooth enough to keep you entertained for several hours, but in terms of mission design, unit personalization and storytelling, the game falls too short.- Power Unlimited

Rocket League Sideswipe is a fantastic translation of a console and PC game into a mobile game. The controls are so intuitive that anyone can pick up the game, yet challenging to really excel at it. It looks clean, offers a full and accessible experience and is a nice extension of the Rocket League brand. Unfortunately, the amount of content is still on the meager side and the lack of statistics is a big loss.- Power Unlimited

Halo Infinite is a sequence of Greatest Halo Hits, stitched together with an open Ring world. The game offers a level of action that only the early parts can compete with in sheer fun. Ignore the 'call to duty' and ignore the 'battlefields': in the 26th century, Halo Infinite is where the shooter action of the year is.- Power Unlimited

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a great party game that will surely give you a few evenings of fun. The minigames, although few, are all fun to play, especially in multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, the lack of content means that the cracking sessions for your brain do not last long and the button controls are a major obstacle.- Power Unlimited

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is in every way better and more comprehensive than the original, but still lacks depth in the building mechanics and is too simple, especially for fans of the genre. However, designing and building your own Jurassic Park is a magical experience that everyone with a love for dinosaurs should experience.- Power Unlimited

What should have been a glorious celebration of three leading open world games has turned out to be a major disappointment that is definitely not the 'definitive' way you should experience the games. Don't get me wrong, the games themselves remain great, but the updated (camera) controls and some graphical updates are far from being able to compete with all the missing content and the numerous graphical misses that this collection makes. This makes Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The (So Called) Definitive Edition feel like a lazy cash grab that Rockstar Games should be ashamed of.- Power Unlimited

Battlefield 2042 has not become the Battlefield to end all Battlefields that some hoped for. Hopefully most players can see the game for what it is: a decent modern multiplayer shooter and a fickle DIY kit.- Power Unlimited

Riders Republic is the ultimate extreme sports collectible pack. The sense of speed will keep you on the edge of your seat and the varied controls of the different disciplines will challenge you long enough. A footnote is that you should be able to entertain yourself a bit in the graphically beautiful world of Riders Republic, because just like with Steep, the flow of the game is not very obvious. Oh, and give more Mass Races.- Power Unlimited

It's unbelievable, but Playground games has surpassed the already brilliant Forza Horizon 4 in every way and sets a new standard for the fun you can have in a racing game. Forza Horizon 5 is a must-have, even as a racing novice, and the perfect excuse to get an Xbox Series X. Viva la Mexico!- Power Unlimited

Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the funniest games of the year, in which a cleverly written and compelling story predominates and the - nothing more than fine - gameplay dominates. At first or into games that heavily emphasize the emotional journey of their main characters, you'll come to love this startling adventure through a unique Marvel universe. It helps enormously if you are a somewhat nostalgic thirty-something and of course have eagerly devoured a Marvel film or comic.- Power Unlimited
