Lost in Play is an aptly titled point-and-click game that's wrapped nicely with gorgeous animations and a lovely story. The puzzles have just the right amount of difficulty without any dialogue, and the game is well-paced at just under 4 hours. It perfectly captures the beauty and wonder of imagination, and reminds us all that when you've got a childlike heart, anything is possible.

Ultimately it's a testament to the game that the campaign's short length can't keep us from exalting Chains of Olympus's exceptional virtues. It's just too unbelievably polished, engaging, and entertaining a title to miss. Kratos may have wet our palate, but like every magnificent gaming experience ever made, we're already thirsty for more.

Fantasian is a classic RPG at its core, with plenty of new tricks and a fresh art style to keep it relatable in the age of AAA cinematic experiences. The unique characters are delightful and full of intrigue, the story is engaging, and the visuals speak for themselves. Having multiple options for controls and a unique way of handling random enemy encounters makes this a game suitable for anyone looking to get lost in a fantasy adventure. While it’s not currently complete, if the game’s second half matches even a sliver of its first half in quality, the game will continue to be an absolute must-play title on Apple Arcade.

The sheer scope of choice Monster Train offers for strategy is amazing, and the fact it took two years to come to mobile is criminal. It’s a simple premise but is so engaging and endlessly fun, and the three floors of combat add such an interesting twist to the gameplay. It cannot be put any simpler than this; Monster Train is a game everyone needs to have on their phone.

The Longing is an idle-slash-point-and-click game that ideally takes 400 days in real time to finish. You can speed things up by triggering certain events in a little over a month, but the deliberately slow pace offers plenty of room for interesting discoveries about the meaning of life in a profound but unpretentious way. Play the game if you've got the time to spare, or if you simply need to be reminded of the lost art of patience in this fast-paced world we live in today.
