The novelty is short-lived, but in terms of tactics and squad-building it's nearly organised and surprisingly playable. [Nov 2009, p.135]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

It's that need to unlock and level a new historical hero that spurs you on. [May 2018, p.80]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Largely decent, if derivative, but glinting away in the torchlight are constant hints of what might have been. [Aug 2016, p.94]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Much like Laser Quest this is theoretically brilliant but a disappointment in reality. [Issue#51, p.109]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

The repetitious enemies and rail-line progression make this occasionally thumping adventure little more than an aerobic ghost train. [Christmas 2011, p.109]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Repetitive, Godfall isn’t the Destiny-withswords we’d hoped for. But there’s fun to be had from its core combat, Dreamstones mode, and next-gen visual wallop. [Issue#183, p.76]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Muddy textures, horrendous voice acting and repetitive gameplay plague an otherwise functional hack 'n' slasher. [Issue#51, p.103]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

A lightweight but enjoyable outing. Comparatively high praise in the world of PS2 movie tie-ins. [June 2007, p.109]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Perhaps worst of all, Wanted just doesn't progress after the first couple of hours. [May 2009, p.105]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

With new online modes, capable and fun split-screen, and one truly great fictional racetrack (Rusty Ravine), it’s only really let down by its slight low-budget feel and sense of déjà vu. But being enjoyable to play is surely the whole point of a videogame, and this is very enjoyable indeed. [Issue#187, p.81]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

An ambitious hybrid of racing and role-playing that fails to deliver a meaningful story or make the most of its extraordinary setting. [Feb 2015, p.85]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

PaRappa will always have a place in my heart, but if the original game was Snoop Dogg, this disappointing upscale is Lil' Bow Wow. [June 2017, p.87]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

In a game as average as this humour is the X-factor. For some, Deadpool elevates it; for others, he renders it nigh-on unplayable. I call it nearer the latter and – for the sake of your taste – hope you do, too. Like the main man himself, this is utterly chaotic: funny, fun, rubbish, forgettable. Sadly, the hit rate of that first attribute is too poor to save it.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Race Stars makes sense when taken as a distilled caricature of everything F1 – rainstorms sweep in and temporarily change the landscape, safety cars slow down the leaders and bobble-headed heroes shout insults in vastly exaggerated (casually racist?) accents. It's a chocolate pretzel of a racer that's worth a spin for anyone looking to avoid the chin-stroking of F1 2012.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

This has its moments but it’s barely worth the patience needed to find them. Or anything else. If you want a Metroidvania experience on Vita then get the excellent Guacamelee instead.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Ticks all the boxes and delivers a decent, playable experience, but it's hugely derivative and feels far too familiar, especially if you've played The Crew. [Jan 2017, p.92]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

If there were no other racers on PS3, or indeed on the planet, buying this would still be a mistake, but with the likes of Dirt already out there, and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift on the horizon, spending money on Baja would be nothing short of madness.
