Disintegration's main draws are the intriguing story and unique gameplay, that make it transcend the boundaries we'd normally associate with genre. If not for some minor flaws - like an overabundance of invisible walls and mediocre AI - it would receive an even higher score.

Strong, deep gameplay and impressive visuals turn Desperados III into quite the experience that is worth to play. There are some annoyances though, the game's tendency to corrupt savefiles chief among them.

A new year, a new Tour de France game. It's fine, as usual, with some notable improvements, like the first person camera and more competitive AI. The game's not for everyone, though; some knowledge (and fandom) of professional cycling is required.

Exploring the ocean and its inhabitants not only turns out to be quite calming, it also manages to find the perfect balance between education and fun. Definitely worth your time and investment.

Naughty Dog has given the PlayStation 4 a phenomenal swan song. The gameplay may be more of the same, but the amazing story and incredibly detailed world make up for that big time! The Last of Us Part II comes close to perfection. A must have, beyond doubt.

Maneater's unique perspective will keep you playing for a while, though the extremely repetitive mission design and lack of gameplay depth will eventually get on your nerves. The horrible framedrops, however, are hard to forgive.

Ion Fury is a wonderful, lightning fast and damn challenging shooter, with expert level design. Not everything works perfectly - an overpowered shotgun and clumsy auto-aim are the game's main annoyances - but don't let that stop you from trying this.

More of the same, with the addition of a fun franchise mode. The lack of innovation is the game's biggest problem however. Frankly, it's kind of hard to recommend this to people who already own Super Mega Baseball 2. New to the franchise, then it’s a fine game that delivers hours of fun gameplay.

Daymare 1998 is a commendable attempt at 90s horror nostalgia... though its excruciatingly slow controls, frustrating inventory system and problematic framerate make for a near unplayable experience. Shame, cause there's some promise beneath the misery.

An intriguing tale and superb audio design make for an atmospheric gem of a game. A bit slow at times, but don't let that stop you from diving into this remarkable world.

SnowRunner improves upon its predecessor in every way. The game offers beautiful maps filled to the brim with content, as well as deep, engaging gameplay that will keep you playing for a long time to come. The multiplayer options form the cherry on top of this already delicious cake.

Sakura Wars is not for everyone, but if you tune into its specific kind of weirdness, you'll definitely end up having a blast. If not for its superficial combat, this would've gotten a higher score.

The absurd story, satisfying gameplay and worthwhile co-op are enough to keep you engaged. The repetitive soundtrack and lack of multiplayer features, however, will put a bit of a damper on things. The good outweighs the bad, though.

MotoGP 20 offers more realism and better physics, as well as a remarkable graphical improvement. Because of this, it's one of the best titles in the franchise. It's not all great, though: the game's historical mode lacks substance, while the presence of bugs and glitches never ceases to annoy.

True to its name, Disaster Report 4 is a disaster to behold. Mostly in the audio and visuals department, though its gameplay isn't interesting enough to keep you playing either.

Trials of Mana retains the atmosphere of the original, but its gameplay feels a bit dated at times. But if you can overlook this, as well as the many loading times, you’ll be in for a lengthy adventure that’s definitely worth your while.

More of the same, with improved technical aspects and the addition of four player co-op. If you're a fan of the franchise, this game should be right up your alley. If not, you're probably just going to be confused a lot.

Nine different endings make for a lot of variation, right? Well, that's what you would think. In reality there really isn't any replay value here, with uninteresting choices leading to underwhelming consequences. The actors all do themselves proud, though... so I guess that's something.

A strong sense of atmosphere, augmented by spectacular graphics and challenging puzzles, turns The Room VR: A Dark Matter into a must-play title for VR-owners. You should, however, keep into account that the motion controller doesn't always work perfectly when turning.

Mediocre graphics are Paper Beast's main detractor, which is a shame - especially since, rather paradoxically, the game's unique art style is a major plus. Smooth controls and an enjoyable sandbox mode are other reasons to give this title a chance.

The most dangerous moto race doesn't exactly make for the most dangerous videogame, but it comes admiringly close. There's room for improvement, especially as far as loading times and multiplayer content are concerned, but overall this realistic race sim will keep you firmly glued to the tip of your seat.

Some texture problems and a handful of uninspired sidequests aren't enough to derail Final Fantasy VII in the slightest. This remake respects the hell out of the original, reinventing one of the most legendary RPGs ever made for a modern audience. Satisfying combat, phenomenal bossfights and impressive visuals... that's what you sign up for when you give this new version of Final Fantasy VII a chance.

It's more of the same. That means more of the white-knuckle-gameplay that made Resident Evil 2 such a tense and often scary experience. It's a bit less scary than its predecessor though, due to a regular emphasis on spectacle and a quick succession of levels that hardly ever leaves the payer time to let things soak in. Still great, just not quite the level of outstanding we got last year around.

MLB looks good, has lots of content and plays extremely well... which goes a long way towards making it one of the better baseball games out there. It's not much of an improvement over its predecessor, however... and that's always a shame.

Loyal to its franchise, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows offers a lot of different fighting styles. However, the controls are far from fluent, all missions feel exactly the same and for some reason it's impossible to switch between fighting styles while fighting. The end result is pretty damn mediocre.

Overpass, unfortunately, deserves to be passed on. The game offers an interesting concept, but fails in its execution. Framerate problems and a frustrating difficulty curve, as well as unnatural physics, are the main detractors.

If not for some repetitive environments, NioH 2 would basically be the perfect sequel, improving upon the original in almost every conceivable way. Highlights: the superb graphics, the added emphasis on exploration and the incredibly fun boss fights. Sincerely recommended.

Infliction is pretty creepy at times, though it tries a little too hard to be P.T. The game's overall lack of originality is its biggest flaw, immediately followed by the piss-poor graphics.
