Don't be deceived by first impressions , The Long Reach is a very mature and impressive adventure thanks to some powerful storytelling and some great story twists. The atmosphere makes this game a real joy to play. Even though some of the puzzles are a little bit far-fetched, it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Absolutely worth it.

It's pretty clear where this game gets its inspiration from and with its intense gameplay, beautiful graphical effects and a steep learning curve this is a solid title. Shame that all bosses are nearly identical and that some screen tearing is present. Besides that, If you loved Hotline Miami, this is definitely a must play.

A lack of modes and the presence of bugs keep this hyper-realistic simulation game from truly soaring. It’s worth the investment, though - especially if you own a steering wheel controller.

Sublevel Zero Redux offers its players quite a challenge, though the crafting could've been more in-depth. Besides that a very enjoyable game.

Fighting in space has never been so realistic as it is depicted in EVE Valkyrie. However, it's also never been so dull. An unnecessary micro-transaction system turns this game into a missed opportunity.

Challenging gameplay and a moody atmosphere make for an intriguing experience, though clunky controls and disappointing graphics keep it from reaching the heights its concept deserves.

The intriguing story and captivating atmosphere is The Fall Part 2's saving grace. The awkward controls and far-fetched puzzle design are however far less appealing.

The Sojourn delivers where it counts, offering players a wide variety of puzzles that are as deep as they are engaging. It’s worth your time, even if the game’s graphics aren’t exactly state-of-the-art.

Getting to work with Crypto again is always good news. In this remake we get more or less the identical adventure as before, now optimized visually. This ensures a decent standard and the co-op is again very nice. However, the performance is far from optimal and the texture pop-in causes a detriment to the experience and that is a shame. Nonetheless, the remake is an enjoyable release that will certainly please fans of the franchise.

A fun little racing game, especially when you've got friends to play it with. It's nothing special, though.

As a game based on a movie based on a toy franchise this could have gone a lot of different ways. As it turns out, it's just another highly enjoyable, if not exactly memorable, LEGO experience.

The logical comparisons with the original Mass Effect trilogy don't do Andromeda any favors and neither do its many technical shortcomings. Beneath the weight of enormous expectations and a hesitant first impression, however, a sweeping and thoroughly enjoyable adventure awaits.

After a strong first episode, the second one comes out of the gates equally strong with a couple of nods and winks to the first season. Although episode 2 definitely leaves you wanting more, the fact that TellTale closed its doors makes us wonder if this is truly the final episode to this final season. If this is indeed the case then it simply is not enough.

Endless universe, endless grind. Quite a fascinating ride at the start, which unfortunately turns into a bit of a drag through sheer repetition as the hours stack up.

Telltale does something truly interesting in the Minecraft universe, though it's too short and way too easy to really leave a mark.

It takes a while to get going and doesn't do anything all that surprising, but other than that, Fairy Fencer F's engaging characters and fun combat system makes this a title very much worth playing.

NHL 24 should be an improvement over NHL 23 in several areas, but in the end it's very minimal. The new pass mechanism adds to the experience and the new animations are also an improvement. At the same time, there are now a lot of owngoals and the scores are often unrealistic. In addition, several modes have almost no innovation or improvement. Do you already own NHL 23? Stay with that one.

It's still far from perfect - clumsy controls, long loading times and disappointing minigames see to that - but Sherlock Holmes' newest videogame adventure is still a lot of fun, mainly due to the interesting cases that keep taking things in unexpected directions.

Lords of the Fallen tries again with this kind of reboot and partially succeeds. The switching between weapons and items in combat is very nice and the two worlds are also very cool to explore, thanks in part to the visual presentation and audio. The downside, however, is the unstable frame rate, the lack of variety in enemies over time and crashes, which impact the enjoyment of play.

Sonic is back and in a very entertaining adventure. There is plenty to do in the game world that is presented to you. This is thanks to the fast-paced gameplay, exploration, battles and the presence of classic levels. At the same time, the titan battles do feel somewhat limited and more annoying is the high degree of visual pop-in, which is a blemish on the whole. However, don't let that stop you from giving the game a chance, as Sonic Frontiers is ultimately a more than fine title as a whole.

Guerrilla Games together with Studio Gobo is venturing into a LEGO game based on Horizon: Zero Dawn. The result is a game that mostly feels very lighthearted thanks to the LEGO humor. The voice-acting is also excellent and so is the combat in the game. At the same time, that is also the problem, as the focus is so much on the combat that everything else feels rather boring, which in turn is due to the lack of exploration options and very limited platforming. At its core, not necessarily a bad game, but it could've been so much more, because it has potential.

A nice-looking, interesting Assassin's Creed Experience on Sony's handheld. If not for messy storytelling, random game-overs and a lacklustre multiplayer, it would have been a Vita classic.

A fine game for all ages that excels in the presence of awesomely detailed physical ships. Within the toy-to-life genre this comes as a great surprise that really delivers on the fun factor. The difficulty is a little bit unbalanced unfortunately which is somewhat inconvenient, considering the audience this game caters to. The gameplay tends to be repetitive by nature but on the flipside there is an enormous galaxy for you to explore in which there is plenty to see and do. The game plays well overall and the in-game customization of your ships is deep enough to keep you entertained for a long time to come.

Code Vein mixes the popular Soulsborne formula with an anime look and mostly delivers on the lofty expectations its hype machine created. The AI's a bit wonky though, and co-op could use some improvement.
