A truly innovative murder mystery that really makes you consider the consequences of not only your actions, but the actions of those that came before you. The narrative is at times a little too bogged down in complex lore, but it's a story to be remembered.- Player 2

Valkyrie Elysium brings the series into the modern era, even though the story is rough, and the levels are a bit bland. I want to see more of this, but hopefully with some of the more major faults fixed.- Player 2

If you’ve never really gotten into the cozy game scene, not touched the likes of Stardew, Story of Seasons, or all the rest, this is the one. If those are part of your favourites already, then prepare for a new one to join the list. Start here, and just be spoiled by something amazing. Take your time with it. Heck, even slow the game time down so you can get every second out of it possible.- Player 2

The DioField Chronicle doesn’t nail the landing but I think that there is still some fun to be had here. I’m just not convinced it’s worth the full price of entry.- Player 2

The God Of War experience has never felt better, it’s more satisfying to play through than ever before, and possesses more heartstring-twisting moments than you’ll likely be able to bare. God Of War Ragnarok is proof positive just how exceptional this medium can be, and a game that, especially when paired with its predecessor will rock you to your very core once you’re through with it.- Player 2

With charm to spare, Sackboy makes his way to the PC with a great port. A couple of odd choices at the system level are the only issues with an otherwise cracking platform adventure.- Player 2

In the end, PGA 2K23 isn’t a revolution. It is however a wonderfully thought-out and considered upgrade from the previous title. Every aspect of the career mode has been tweaked and improved, the gameplay, while much the same, has been tightened where it needs to be and the presentation aspects have come forward in leaps and bounds.- Player 2

The outer layers of Gotham Knights present quite well and will keep you entertained for hours, but there’s something rotting at the core that holds the game back from ever being anything great.- Player 2

While there is a lot of craziness in the world of Bayonetta 3, at its core the game provides solid combat that I’m sure will keep fans entertained for hours.- Player 2

While the single player is a bit flaky, the core online tilt of Splatoon 3 is strong and refined, offering simple, addictive, and enjoyable matches for casual players and pros alike. With promised support for years to come, we forward to enjoying what Nintendo brings to expand and round out the experience.- Player 2

Not a perfect PC port, but not a bad one either, the Uncharted Legacy Of Thieves Collection is the perfect way for those who have experienced these epic adventures to dive in. However, it is worth noting that there is nothing new here for returning players.- Player 2

At the end of the day, the entire concept of this game still feels incredibly strange and deeply unhinged. But maybe in a good way? It certainly brings a unique angle and some fresh mechanics to both Mario games and now to strategy games with the inclusion of these open world mechanics. I think it’ll struggle to find an audience with die hard fans from either side, but it will go down well with those looking to dip their toe into the strategy genre, or who are introducing their kids to those games for the first time. While at times it was frustrating, I had a lot of fun with it, and plan to spend some more time wandering around the overworlds finishing up those side quests even though the main story is done. To me, that’s the ultimate sign of a good game – even if it is a game that has me constantly questioning whether or not it’s trying to reference that cursed time we all used words like ‘smexy’ on the internet.- Player 2

A Plague Tale: Requiem expands on every aspect of the original. It is a tight, single player experience the like of which feels rare these days. Full of tension, enjoyable puzzles and violent flurries of combat, it serves as a strong sequel and engaging narrative experience in its own right.- Player 2

A sedate yet engaging experience, Wayward Strand weaves serious subjects with threads of respect and care. While time marches on, you never feel pushed to worry about it, with a short length and plenty of concurrent events creating a welcome environment to re-experience if you so wish.- Player 2

After last year's disappointing entry, NBA 2K23 is certainly a step in the right direction. The basketball is as good as it has ever been and the Jordan Challenge is truly wonderful, you just have to ignore a bit of jank to find the fun.- Player 2

While I hesitate to use the phrase ‘hidden gem’ before a game has even launched, I will say that Steelrising is a pleasant surprise, an engaging riff on a genre that increasingly feels to have run its course even as it gets reinvented by its originator. While this may seem a trite statement when compared to the bombastic praise which often accompanies a game's launch (and wouldn’t see me quoted on a box), Steelrising is a game I have thoroughly enjoyed playing and hope to see more of from Spiders in the future.- Player 2

I really wanted to like Lego Brawls, it is such a cool idea. Sadly the fact is, it is just a bad game. Not bad in an overly broken or offensive way. Bad because it seems to delight in mediocrity. Everything feels half-baked and half-realised, kind of like my 16-year-old’s homework, and it means it quickly squandered any potential in the idea of a Lego Smash Bros.- Player 2

While it’s certainly disappointing to see The Last Of Us return without its iconic multiplayer, Factions, players are so incredibly fortunate to get to re-experience a game that is widely considered one of the all-time greats, remade from top to bottom, and given the tender love, and care that it deserves. Every pore is as it should be, every texture perfected, and every moment, something to savour. Many will look at The Last Of Us Part I and consider it an unnecessary investment from Sony, the original still looks great – but Naughty Dog have pulled off the impossible in making the definitive video game of the last decade, somehow, even better, and in doing so they’ve also opened it up to millions of new players, of a variety of needs and levels of experience. It turns out that you can improve upon perfection.- Player 2

Crypto's return is a fun one, but hardly essential. Some dated humour and repetitive missions hold the game back from greatness but there is still certainly fun to be had in this B-grade Sci/Fi comedy adventure.- Player 2

Spider-Man is a fantastic game. One of the highlights of the last generation of console games and this PC version will certainly hit the spot for those that missed it. A couple of little porting issues stop it from being the best version of the game but I expect that to change quickly and once it does, this will be the premium version of the game.- Player 2

In general, Two Point Campus is a fun game. It’s quite relaxing on the whole for a management game, but there is a good bit of challenge to be found later in career levels and three starring levels if you’re itching to really flex your management muscles.- Player 2
