The Falconeer: Warrior Edition, fails to inspire. It’s a game that says its piece in the first hour but then meanders on for another dozen hours without saying anything more.- Player 2

Minecraft Legends has potential, I don’t know if it will have the same level of longevity as the original Minecraft has had, and while it is very simple to command your mobs to go to a certain place and have them attack whatever is in the area, kids may struggle to adapt to the controlling of the mobs in more nuanced ways that will help get the most out of combat.- Player 2

Ale & Tale Tavern is a mess of mechanics and writing. There’s some fulfillment to be had if you can sift through the rough bits, but I was left with an empty stomach and maybe a bout of gastro.- Player 2

Fans of the series will enjoy testing themselves against the orc hordes on the new maps, along with the added rogue-like elements, but between the lack of a real narrative to keep players engaged and difficulty increases that only equate to increased health for enemies, it is not likely to be as fondly remembered as some of its predecessors.- Player 2

For every fun mechanic Return from Core has to offer, it comes with an equally frustrating or confusing system. The best parts of Return from Core could be found with more depth in other games, and the unique elements of this game are lacking polish.- Player 2

Despite all the warts, the original STALKER trilogy is still incredible. By extension, these games are also incredible, but they’re held back by some weird choices, strict modding guidelines and some rough optimisations. Time will tell how they turn out.- Player 2

Caverns Of Mars: Recharged is a solid enough throwback, but it lacks the spark of inspiration from its source material to truly push the experience forward.- Player 2

While billed as a tribute to Grand Theft Auto, the implementation of one of the main mechanics is severely lacking. Despite this, if you go into Rustler as a game in its own right it can provide some entertainment if you can get past some of the over the top writing.- Player 2

Exit the Gungeon is not so much a full sequel, but rather the port of a mobile/tablet arcade title. As such, it is a simpler and more direct spin-off that relies on randomised weaponry and character-specific elevator runs to provide both challenge and variety for players.- Player 2

Metal Eden delivers on its promise of fast-paced combat and fluid movement, but its generic world and shallow narrative hold it back. A fun, albeit short, experience that leaves you wanting more than it’s able to deliver.- Player 2

No Reload Heroes: Enhanced Edition offers a different take on the arena shooter, but ultimately doesn’t offer much for those after a strong single player experience. For those who want something to throw on for younger or less-experienced players, you might get something out of it… at least in the short term.- Player 2

All in all, Dread Nautical is a reasonably unremarkable game. It does well with the foundational ideas of the genres that it utilises and meets its objectives with a suitable story. However, it is more of a novelty than an advancement.- Player 2

While Hunt: Showdown gives players a high caliber atmosphere to play in, the steep learning curve and difficulty for new players to survive encounters with veterans may give it problems in gathering a larger player base.- Player 2

Nom Nom Apocalypse is a fine game, but the gimmick of facing off against food-based enemies grows old quick, as doe the rather repetitive gameplay and soundtrack. A shame given it has so much potential.- Player 2

Combining the operatic aspects into a video game means that the viewer becomes an actor and divides the attention of the player between trying to figure out what they have to do and what is going on in the rest of the scene. It is a balancing act that the team at Capricia Productions have not quite managed to overcome, and yet I want to see what they can do with the format in the future.- Player 2

While audio issues stop it from reaching its full potential, The Suicide of Rachel Foster is a dark and intriguing walk-em-up that will keep fans of the genre on their toes. Just be ready to weather some frustrating technical problems to get to the good bits.- Player 2

While DBZ:K is a great way to relive the original series with enjoyable combat and dead-on aesthetics, it’s saddled with an open world two generations behind that detracts from the promise it shows.- Player 2

I found that the best way to approach them was to cheese my way to victory. This left me with the feeling that I was exploiting the AI rather than using skill to overcome adversity. Think long and hard if this is the game for you, but for this reviewer, it isn’t something I will likely never pick up again.- Player 2

The big issues with this title are that it feels unfinished and very thin in terms of content and gameplay. There’s no single-player or offline content to be found here, and when you see how ‘smart’ the AI Soldiers are and how they act as bullet sponges with questionable hitboxes. You’ll understand why. This leads us to believe that the game is still a work in progress, and although this potentially can mean that these issues will be smoothed out or changed in the future, from the copy that’s on the shelves right now, this is what you get.- Player 2

If you’re patient enough to accept the 90’s experience, you can certainly have some fun with Terminal Velocity: Boosted Edition. But if you’re not, then the lack of attention and polish makes it tough to justify going back too.- Player 2

Lunar Lander Beyond offers some great mechanical ideas, but it’s the execution and the lack of finesse that left me wanting more. From landers with sluggish controls to pilots and their traits cancelling out the challenges those brought on. It makes for a game that is frustrating as it carries so many neat ideas that are all lost in the final execution.- Player 2

In spite of all of its flaws, there’s still this immeasurable something about the AFL Evolution 2 experience that continues to pull you in. Perhaps it’s the arcadey experience in a simulation skin, or maybe it’s just the players love of the sport that’s carrying them through, but there is still enjoyment to be found here, you just need to be prepared to overlook the plentiful flaws to get to that point.- Player 2

I don’t think this game is art, and I don’t think it’s revolutionary, I think it’s a huge cultural step backwards – no matter how pretty it may look – that is based on mediocre gameplay mechanics.- Player 2

Curse Of The Sea Rats earnestly tries to build upon the core ideas of a Metroidvania, and though it offers a lot for the player, it’s missing that final round of tuning and polish which would have let it shine amongst a crowded field.- Player 2
