Alone it's alright, online it's bordering on genius. Bad Company 2 is quite possibly the best online shooter on PS3 today. [Issue#190, p.66]

It's short - perhaps a little too short for the price - but Left Behind exhibits the same exceptional quality that made The Last of Us one of PS3's finest. [Issue#242, p.56]

As well as being by far the best beat-'em up on the PSP, Tekken: Dark Resurrection is one of the machine's standout games: it looks great, controls well and is everything anyone could ever want from a handheld Tekken. Truly unmissable. [Issue 143, p.84]

Feels like a true sequel to the original Modern Warfare in every way, and banishes the memory of MW 2's sorry campaign. The multiplayer is still shockingly playable but it's not a huge leap over what's come before. That said, COD fans are going to love this.

The continuing saga of everyone's favourite terrible cop has been a long time coming. Maybe too long. It's not bad by any means; there are moments of high-fiving, air-punching joy here. The trouble is it's both as eloquent and repetitive as its lead. Moments of glory clash with irritating, baffling design decisions to ensure that Max Payne 3 isn't quite the sequel we all hoped for. Brilliant in places, utterly frustrating in others.
