PES 2008 stumbles, rather than sprints onto the PS3, leaving us with the first Pro Evo game that falls short of the FIFA franchise. We expected a revolutionised football title that'd set the series back on course, but this is just shameful. [Issue#159, p.78]

A solid, enjoyable fighting game held back by an overly mechanical feel to fights and an air of simplicity that's just too hard to ignore. [Issue#223, p.80]

Tokyo Jungle is rough around the edges and mad as a box of spaniels with hammers glued to them, but you know what? It's actually good. We did not expect that – we expected throwaway silliness, not a game we actually want to play between sessions on all the other games that are out or coming out oh god there's too many games to play.

More forgiving than its predecessor, Extreme Justice makes few changes to the "Chase HQ" formula. The graphics are identical and cut-scenes are slightly entertaining, but the ideally replayable missions make this a valid release. [Issue#159, p.74]

A classic 69. It's fun until you realise you're not getting enough out of it and that there are better games to play. Find something that allows for deeper penetration rather than the surface tickling provided by FlatOut 2. [Issue 142, p.86]
