The quality and your enjoyment of the game varies greatly during its running time, as Shadwen occasionally offers moments of gameplay brilliance while most of the time it just falls flat. If you do manage to endure it, you do get rewarded, but it is too high of a demand when playing the game feels more like a chore.

If you are looking for a gorgeous game, with gameplay balanced for both casual and competitive play, look no further than Overwatch. Blizzard has succeeded with its foray into the FPS genre, creating another gem we'll play for many years to come.

If you're a fan of action adventures, you owe it to yourself to at least borrow a copy of Uncharted 4 and experience it first-hand. An epic journey like none other, fueled by an atmosphere from action movies of olden times, cheesy at moments, but with more than enough charisma to stay with you long after you complete it.

The Collider 2 is a fun little game that can provide a couple of hours of entertainment, especially if you're a fan of endless runners and high speed, although there are myriad of problems with the execution and the VR implementation could've been better. [VR Tested]

Another great set of tables by Zen Studios, a trio of pinballs that's an obvious recommendation to fans of Alien saga. This pack offers dozens of hours of hectic fun even to players who have less interest in the source material, considering these are among the most challenging pinballs the studio has produced to date.

This first slice of the Starcraft 2 DLC scheme left us wanting for more, as it always happens with Blizzard's strategy games. Even short, this is as polished and fun as any other "big" campaign in Starcraft 2, though we'd prefer if the upcoming missions could arrive sooner.

As many roguelikes before it, Leap of Fate can be a harsh game where one mistake leads to death and restarting the game. But the developers decided for an approach where your character will keep certain bonuses even after the death, making Leap of Fate less punishing, but ultimately more rewarding game.

The cult classic that hasn't aged a day is incredibly fun to play even after all these years. Too bad that the developers didn't use this chance to polish the AI routine or give some units a redesign, making it hard to recommend the Redux edition to owners of the original game.

Even though it looks cuter than a baby panda, the game from studio Fat Panda Games falls to the generic side of platformers and, with a frustrating control scheme, it's not the most enjoyable game in its genre.

An unusual cocktail of ideas and style that won't suit everyone, Nights of Azure will more than please fans of the genre, yet it's far from achieving greatness due to its gameplay that's more often than not too easy to be enjoyable.

Game that could only be recommended to players who are nostalgic for overly difficult strategies. Other than that, Ashes doesn't offer anything new or different from other games in the genre and spectacularly falls flat.

One of the most interesting choose-you-own-adventure style games we've played so far, where each of you choices has actual consequences. You will want to play Stories over and over again, discovering all its secrets and branching paths until you get the full picture. And that is one of its greatest powers.

A dash of fresh air and a game that's a must buy for fans of point&click adventures. The story and atmosphere will grasp the player until the very end, letting him visit various locales. Goetia isn't high-budget but delivers a high-excitement experience.

If you can get past its very obvious downsides and need to play a challenging, even a bit frustrating game, there's no dilemma that Hyper Light Drifter is for you. Yet, we remain sad that we didn't get to play the fantastic game which this one could have been had it spent more time in development. Maybe in the sequel.

Entering its third season, Killer Instinct has finally reached PC audience in its best incarnation to date. A fighting game that will please different player profiles, KI is a spectacular game that runs butter-smooth, with great netcode and one of the best tutorials we've ever seen in genre.

Quantum Break is a dual experience - on one side is its great and interesting story with many interesting ideas, but on the other is mediocre gameplay. At the end, this is a game worth playing, especially if you're a completionist, but not a journey you'd be willing to take once more.

Gorgeous, chaotic and maybe bit too linear, new rendition of Ratchet & Clank is well worth your attention. Whether you've grown up with the series or you've never heard of the titular duo, this is a brilliant space adventure that brings a smile to every face.

BGA is a great strategy and even better Warhammer 40K game. Its difficulty might scare away some players, but details on ships and impeccable voice acting will thrill the die-hard fans of the universe. This is a game that is truly blessed by The Emperor.

As its predecessor, The Banner Saga 2 hits the chord with a specific audience that won't mind the brutal difficulty and random events that can cripple their armies. You might not complete the game in your first sitting, but it will be a journey worth taking.

It isn't an easy task to bring a masterful end to a successful trilogy. Yet Dark Souls 3 does it flawlessly. A great "ending" to a great franchise, Dark Souls 3 might feel a bit easier than the veterans are used to, but don’t be fooled – it’s still a Dark Souls game at its core. Hard but fair and a joy to bear.
