Co-op is where Magicka really shines. You’ll forget about the inconsistent camera and unpolished controls, because you’ll be too busy having fun while playing the game.- PLAY! Zine

An ever-elusive Japanese "gacha" exclusive is finally here. Tons of fan service will make you turn a blind eye to a ridiculously outdated graphics. If luck and strategy are all you want from a Dragon Ball game, this is a title for you.- PLAY! Zine

If you loved Punch-out!!, chances are you will also like Thunder Ray. It may be super short and a bit unfair most of the time, but its gorgeous visuals and satisfying challenges alone will make up for it.- PLAY! Zine

Clever as ever, and as much poetic. The game does not bring much in the sense of new content, but extends the successful formula to deliver another puzzle-ish bloodbath. May be pricey, but it's pretty spicy.- PLAY! Zine

With its unique fighting mechanics and even a possible 4 player co-op in which players control a section of a robot, it truly deserves to be in the game library of any mech fans out there.- PLAY! Zine

Lovely Planet 2: April Skies is a sequel to cute gun ballet with simple gameplay mechanics and cool music. This game has over 100 levels, but sadly they don't offer many challenges.- PLAY! Zine

Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening is based on the classic ’80s anime, capturing all the nostalgia and tone of that era. It even includes sequences from the original series as you play through the first 12 episodes of the show. However, while the retro charm is undeniable and the action sequences are solid, lingering gameplay issues hold it back in the long run.- PLAY! Zine

Looking for a football simulation? Carry on. Looking for an over the top, long running, wacky football anime reincarnated as a video game? Well you already know this is the thing you were looking for. So have fun! We sure did.- PLAY! Zine

Catalyst is an example of how bigger doesn't always have to mean better. Some games don't benefit from becoming an open world adventure and should stick to what worked well, even amazing in the original. Catalyst unfortunately, traded quality for quantity.- PLAY! Zine

The Invisible Hand offers insight into the world of stock trading, with some interesting turns. You can gain an unfair advantage by browsing the dark web and manipulating it, but freedom of choice exists as an idea, rather than a feature.- PLAY! Zine

The simplest control scheme in the world will not save you from frustration and anxiety. But if you arm yourself with patience, you will find this an enjoyable difficult platformer.- PLAY! Zine

Somber Echoes is a competent metroidvania that is highlighted by its design and atmosphere. The Greco-Roman style intertwined with sci-fi elements is a winning combination and it presents itself perfectly. Even though the gameplay is simplistic, the traversal and the overall feel of the game are very compelling and made me enjoy every second of it.- PLAY! Zine

Compiling nostalgia into a lovely chaos, Lost Sphear fires its mediocre edges into beautiful fireworks. It is an absolute step in the right direction for the creators of I am Setsuna. Not perfect, but it feels pretty great nonetheless.- PLAY! Zine

Designed as a Devil May Cry clone but based on a card game, Anima barely balances on its playability, with constant problems with the camera and more than wonky platforming sections. Terribly dated graphics are just a final nail in this mediocre coffin.- PLAY! Zine

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is sixth installment in the franchise, as it stands somewhere in the middle. It may not be the best, but surely isn't the worst of them all. It looks superb, has a few really outstanding mini-games and even a selection of 10 retro styled ones for all you nostalgia lovers out there.- PLAY! Zine

No matter how many protagonists you get to play as or how many play styles you try, sooner or later the whole experience becomes rather boring. Suffering from same repetitive nature as most musou games, Arslan follows the same formula and can only be recommended to hardcore fans of the genre.- PLAY! Zine

Rabbids: Party of Legends is a great party game with varied and exciting game modes that are unfortunately locked behind an XP progression. However you will still have a lot of fun playing with friends, but when it comes to the solo mode, results may vary. The biggest downfall of this game is the lack of online multiplayer, which would have been a great addition since people are still reluctant to have big gatherings or for people that have friends and family that are not living close by. It is still a fantastic party game that will give you lots of content and fun at a bit of a steep price.- PLAY! Zine

With bleak visual design and superb voice acting, Fragments of Him won't leave you indifferent to choices, regrets, and sorrow, its characters portray. A cathartic journey through melancholy-fuelled story, that's just too short to leave a full impact or justify the high price on Steam.- PLAY! Zine

Rescue Team DX may be a remake, but it does not improve the original formula in almost any way. While the graphics and HUD had an obvious overhaul, the game is a repetitive yet somewhat charming and conflicted experience, that offers quality at the expense of some pretty weird and lazy solutions. Yet if you are a fan, you should not miss this one.- PLAY! Zine

Sea of Solitude tries to tackle more dark and sensitive problems of family relations and depression but fails ultimately to deliver by generalising its story thematic. It still manages to deliver the message it wants to, but completely underestimating player’s intelligence and degrading him into childish storytelling it tries to tell.- PLAY! Zine

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition brings back the 2006 classic with controller support and restored multiplayer, but aside from bundled expansions, the release feels barebones—plagued by minor bugs, bland menus, and only minimal upgrades that make it a missed opportunity rather than a true enhancement.- PLAY! The best description is this is basically Armored Core X Gundam. It has great mech and character customizations, fast and chaotic combat and a good enough story. If you have a Switch and are a mech fan then this game is a must buy.- PLAY! Zine
