Made by the creators of Amnesia and Penumbra, SOMA is yet another great psychological horror experience with a unique setting and atmosphere. Although not as scary as its predecessors, the immersive story and surroundings will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Not a Falcon but a Nostalgia Punch. The mix of modern and old code and slight tweaks to the original make this an amazing remaster. Old and new skating fans should not miss out on this game.

Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is a visual marvel filled with interesting but, sadly, underdeveloped characters. It is a gorgeous game that can be very rewarding but also brutally hard and punishing, especially with its platforming puzzles and sequences that often lack balance.

If a football game with various fantasy races sounds like a great idea to you, then you can't go wrong with this game. With deep and rewarding systems, Blood Bowl 2 is a great starting point for newcomers to this series and a logical upgrade for fans of the previous installments.

Cat Quest III builds upon its predecessor, making it an even more enjoyable experience. Quite charming and fun to play, especially if you bring a buddy for some cooperative pirate action! Too bad it does not last a tad bit longer. Either way, it’s a relaxing blast to play through.

On the gameplay level, Zubmariner doesn't bring too much to the table. But it's the mythos and continuation of the story what will keep you exploring the depths and dark places of this Lovecraftian tale.

A humorous package of sweet nostalgia, with some really great battle mechanics. After a while, it could get dull, but it should not stop you from getting many enjoyable hours before that.

Fae Farm simplifies farming to a point where you might not want to come back to the old ways of Animal Crossing and alike. It may be a different cup of tea altogether, but there’s just something satisfying in snappy and dynamic actions with zero wasted time. It may grow repetitive after a while and may not be awfully long, but surely is a refreshing title for the ever-growing genre of farming games.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R is a true delight for the fans of the series, skillfully recreating one of the best titles the franchise had to offer. But if you weren’t a fan of the original game, there's a high chance you won't particularly enjoy this one either. The game features intriguing characters and their relationships, beautiful graphics and a diverse world. Yet, the story lacks depth, and the somewhat clunky combat system is likely to divide the audience into those who love it and those who wouldn’t even want to touch it.

Nobody Wants to Die is a visually impressive cyberpunk noir experience that will surely captivate you with its futuristic cityscapes and its great yet cliché story. It is a tad bit too linear, and it will not pose much challenge or diversity when it comes to gameplay, but it will surely give you that dose of neo-noir you have been searching for.

WarioWare: Move It! manages to be one of the most entertaining entries of the franchise yet, especially if you plan on playing it with friends. And yet, once you check out and master all of the mini-games, you will hardly ever return to play it again.

Now that the season is complete, we can conclude that the latest Hitman was one solid stealth adventure, providing huge open levels for players to explore on their own. Agent 47, although quite old, is still alive and kicking.

Super Dungeon Muncher is a cute little roguelike puzzler that will test your reflexes (and your frustrations) in a really creative way. Even though it is a bit lacking in additional modes, it will provide you with a lot of fun.

World of Goo 2 is a proper sequel. But it feels like some of the magic was lost in a 16-year-long stretch from the original. Undoubtedly a quirky, charming, and original game everyone should try out. However, the experiences will vastly vary based on your current mood and expectations.

As a standalone title, Bravely Default II stands as a superb JRPG. But when it gets to be compared to the original, it sadly falls short. No matter how great its strengths are, they will always be remembered as being even greater before. Yet you should still not miss it if you are into the genre or if you loved the original, as it is a wonderful title no matter what you compare it to.

Gamedec is one weird Polish gem that comes both unpolished (pun intended) and innovative and creative. It truly is a true role-playing game with great and interesting mechanics that incentivize player choice, although it suffers from various tiny gameplay design problems and lack of finishing touches that would make it a truly defining video game that can rival paragons of the genre like Disco Elysium.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits has many strengths, but because of that all the flaws tend to stick out even stronger. The lack of polish makes this magical world feel a bit artificial. All that is great about it, truly is amazing. But when you grab the controller itself, you will feel every bump down this 10 hour long road.

The gameplay and the combat of Lost Judgment are phenomenal, the story is amazing, and the side missions are, as always, an absolute blast. Despite all of the positives, the world is a little bit too overcrowded and looks like something we've already seen before from RGG.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged is a great continuation of the iconic series that adds a story mode, better way to get cars, and more tweaks and fixes. Despite that, it didn’t really bring anything new or revolutionary to the arcade racing genre, making it somewhat underwhelming. The nostalgia factor is still there though.

One of the most interesting choose-you-own-adventure style games we've played so far, where each of you choices has actual consequences. You will want to play Stories over and over again, discovering all its secrets and branching paths until you get the full picture. And that is one of its greatest powers.

Pagan Online is very interesting hack ’n’ slash twin-stick ARPG, based on Slavic mythology, that is bravely trying to implement some new, more casual but fun experience into the genre. Aside from its bugs and few balancing problems, it has great potential and it is already managing to separate itself from the big competitors in the genre.

Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is the best entry in the series since Origins — a stunning visual achievement with a solid gameplay loop that, unfortunately, loses momentum over time and is held back by a weak story.

Sonic Superstars somehow manages to be rough and inconsistent in terms of quality yet remarkably likable – just like the series itself has always been! It surely is a game that could use more polish and care, but even in the state that we found it in, it was a lot of fun. By no means a perfect Sonic experience but surely one of the most entertaining we’ve had in years.

Despite repetitive environments, long loading times, and a clunky narrative, Ninja Gaiden 4 is a worthy homage to the late Tomonobu Itagaki. It offers perhaps the most refined combat mechanics the series has ever seen. And it’s undeniably the bloodiest entry — a true ninja gore-fest.

As many roguelikes before it, Leap of Fate can be a harsh game where one mistake leads to death and restarting the game. But the developers decided for an approach where your character will keep certain bonuses even after the death, making Leap of Fate less punishing, but ultimately more rewarding game.
