The Nintendo DS version of Friend or Foe is by far the most different, but it’s also the most in line with previous Spider-Man games on its respective platform. Friend or Foe’s addition of enemies and solid coop mode make it a solid addition to the Nintendo DS’ Spider-Man lineup.

The gameplay is very similar to previous games. If you haven’t played any, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

The game doesn’t have a defined audience: older kids will find the game too slow-paced and easy, while younger kids will get frustrated with the touchy controls.

Unfortunately, the single-player mode is required to get access to additional characters for the one-on-one mode and simply isn't very fun.

With Quantum of Solace, Beenox had the tough task of porting over one of the most technically demanding engines over to the less powerful Wii. The result is a game that shines at its core thanks to an impressive Bond feel but is held back by technical issues.

The gameplay is tight enough and the presentation is good, ensuring that fans of The Incredibles will get their money’s worth. For everyone else though, there are better NDS titles available.

A breath of fresh air when every other historical first person shooter is focusing on World War II, but unfortunately the game isn’t interesting enough to warrant a $50 purchase when you pick up the substantially better "Call of Duty 3" for a few dollars more.

Lair is a tough game to rate. One on hand, the game is absolutely gorgeous and easily justifies the thousands of dollars spent on the latest home theater equipment. On the other hand, the gameplay is so fundamentally broken that it’s difficult to imagine anyone sticking with Lair through its ending.

Spider-Man 3 on Wii is considerably different than the next-generation versions. It has a considerably longer learning curve and much less polish than its true next-generation counterparts.

If you’re interested in a deep gaming experience, you have to look elsewhere. If you want to spend hours ogling virtual girls, buying them swimsuits, making friends with other girls and the like, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 is exactly what you wanted.

Entertaining and easy to pick up if you only have a few minutes to spare. The multi-tiered puzzles are a nice touch and will keep younger gamers busy.

The game is combat-intensive which is the least fun part of the game. The multiplayer is splendid, though.

Ford Bold Moves is a safe, by-the-book racing game that incorporates some rather fun team racing.

G-Unit Edition isn’t the most competent top-down action game available on the PSP. However, if you’re a fan of 50 Cent or his music, there is a lot of fanfare in the game.

Conflict: Denied Ops isn’t going to set the world on fire. The game isn’t worthwhile by yourself (mostly because the little friendly AI issues add up and the enemy AI’s annoyance factor is multiplied when you’re dealing with it alone), but if you’re going to play it with a friend, it provides a guilty pleasure.

I found myself to be bewildered by the erratic actions of the artifical intelligence as opposed to being genuinely upset. If you are looking for what would happen in a truly crazy world, SuperPower 2 will let you relive that very well and leave you walking away genuinely pleased.

The actual gameplay doesn’t deviate much from your typical beat-em-up, which becomes monotonous and repetitive at the end of the game’s nine or so hours.
