The action and depth of the game will surely please fans of the first game or those who need a GTA-genre game this year. The game doesn’t go above and beyond but with solid gameplay and a superb recreation of New York City, very few can complain.

It won’t keep mature gamers’ attention for very long, but kids will love it.

The mini-games are satisfying, despite their slight repetitiveness, and are quite a bit of fun. If there is another mini-games focused Spyro game in the future, the platforming elements need serious work, but overall the game’s style works.

Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars makes the jump to consoles well although it's not perfectly intact.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, despite being aimed at a squarely younger audience, is a very fun game despite its simplicity. It doesn’t have the depth of something like say, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, but should provide plenty of fun for those looking for a simple brawler with characters from the Spider-Man universe.

The highlight of the graphics is undoubtedly the recreation of Manhattan. While it was impressive in Spider-Man 2, this sequel takes it to unprecedented heights.

The dimwitted A.I. is frustrating and removes much of the fun from the game. Although not a bad game by any means, it doesn't meet the Street's series high standards.

Frantix would have been a solid budget title. The gameplay isn’t bad and it is nice to spend a few minutes with as you relax.

A rather tough sell. The Mob Wars portion of the game is well implemented, if a bit shallow, but it isn’t enough to make this an easily recommendable purchase. The story mode carries its own set of problems, as well.

The battles are a bit boring and run for too long, and the game doesn’t utilize the Nintendo DS hardware much.

A run of the mill game. When you play this game you feel as though this game should be better than it is.

Sony’s NBA 08 is a solid basketball gamebut the actual gameplay isn’t as tight as its competitors. The lack of a franchise mode hurts the game and while The Life is still plenty of fun to play through, it may not be enough to pull the game up for most people.

On Wii, Downhill Jam was a great party game. On the PS2, it’s more like "SSX"-Lite. The game is still fun but if you have a choice get the undoubtedly superior Wii version.

NBA Live 07 improves on its predecessor best feature: the graphics. The game looks unbelievably good. Add to that some new features and improved gameplay, and it’s hard to turn your back on the game.

It doesn't do anything too different and although the cycles are nice, I felt that the Veritechs of the previous game were much more fun to mess around with.

The mixture of action, stealth, and minigames will keep your attention for the game’s direction. The solid gameplay is made better because of the excellent presentation.

The actual gameplay is quite solid, if a bit easy. Nonetheless, it’s hard to recommend the game for a $49.99 purchase when there is so little replay value.
