The game was designed to play in short bursts on the PSP, and it’s still superior on that platform. If you don’t own a PSP, though, Mercury Meltdown Remix is still a solid puzzle title.- PGNx Media

The actual gameplay doesn’t deviate much from your typical beat-em-up, which becomes monotonous and repetitive at the end of the game’s nine or so hours.- PGNx Media

While there is nothing particularly wrong with it, it just doesn’t do much beyond what is expected in terms of actual gameplay.- PGNx Media

When it is all said and done, Scaler isn't much more than your functional, slightly-but-not-much above average platformer. For $20, there are certainly worst buys and the game would complement perfectly "Ty 2" and "Tak 2" for a platform-hungry younger gamer.- PGNx Media

The only reason you'll finish this game is for the story. I know it right off the bat. The gameplay is lame and uninspired. It is way too easy and the level design is extremely linear.- PGNx Media

Obscure doesn’t attempt to do anything different. Hydravision is comfortable with crafting a respectable survival horror game and Obscure fits that profile well.- PGNx Media

When it comes down to it, King of Fighters: Maximum Impact isn’t a particularly memorable fighting game on its own merits.- PGNx Media

Unless you're tired of World War II games or really require your flight games to have extremely realistic controls, there is a lot to like in Heroes of the Pacific.- PGNx Media

On the GBA, Jimmy Neutron: Attack of the Twonkies doesn’t distinguish itself as much as it does on the console versions. Nonetheless, the game remains a solid platformer with enough variety to keep the game interesting.- PGNx Media

Samurai Shodown V isn't the best looking or most refined fighter available, but it does work well enough including a fully functional online mode.- PGNx Media

And1 Streetball has some good ideas like the pulling off juke moves with the analog stick but unfortunately some technical errors are too much to ignore.- PGNx Media

Lair is a tough game to rate. One on hand, the game is absolutely gorgeous and easily justifies the thousands of dollars spent on the latest home theater equipment. On the other hand, the gameplay is so fundamentally broken that it’s difficult to imagine anyone sticking with Lair through its ending.- PGNx Media

The commentary, though accurate, is repetitive and doesn’t induce you to pay attention. It just isn’t very interesting to hear the same lines over and over again.- PGNx Media

The action is competent if underwhelming but some of the career mode choices were right on. Indeed, Juiced is hurt more by its release date than anything else.- PGNx Media

Sony’s NBA 08 is a solid basketball gamebut the actual gameplay isn’t as tight as its competitors. The lack of a franchise mode hurts the game and while The Life is still plenty of fun to play through, it may not be enough to pull the game up for most people.- PGNx Media

A solid if unexciting WWII game on either platform. There’s little reason to pick up the game unless you blasted through "Call of Duty 3" and are looking for more.- PGNx Media

A big part of what made the PC version be so great was the whole atmosphere; you felt like you were in Chicago in the 1930s. Unfortunately, the visual inedibility of the PS2 version takes a good chunk of this feeling.- PGNx Media

Its portrayal of the card game is fun in its own away and pretty accurate, as well. If the whole monster fighting thing eluded you, chances are that Duel Masters isn't going to change your mind.- PGNx Media

Only the most diehard Pokemon fans should ever consider picking this game up. The gameplay isn’t especially interesting, the game makes poor use of the Nintendo DS hardware, and the presentation is seriously outdated.- PGNx Media
